As someone that played GW1 I am very grateful to Anet for the Trading Post in GW2. Very grateful.
Solo players cannot advance in the new content, and any decent publisher would disclose such a fundamental change prior to taking your money.
Wrong! I’m going thru HoT right now mostly solo. Sure, sure, there are times being a in a group(organized or not) is pretty much mandatory(such as the events) but if I can solo much of HoT then anyone can.
There was a time GW2 was Casual Friendly

I’m a casual player & I’m enjoying HoT. Most of the time I do things on my own, solo but sometimes I go do things with a player mob. If I can run around doing things mostly by myself then surely other ppl can too. I’m not some leet solo min-maxer that can kill everything just by looking at them either. I just some schmuck that not-so-randomly presses buttons on mouse & kboard. If a doofus like me can run around doing stuff then other ppl far more skilled can do so as well.
Right after HoT came out I & 5 of my friends quit playing. HoT was a huge let down for us. I just came back 3 days ago & am now liking HoT. Trying to get my 5 friends to try HoT again.

0/10 Not playing HoT at all.
Really? Someone is complaining about music instrument macros? Really? Wow!
The Holy Trinity is only holy if you are a member of that belief system. If you are not, like Anet, then it is in fact not holy.
After I completed the event once I stopped going after the knights. No point in doing it if it’s not any fun. If it were fun for me I’d still be taking part. Soooooo if any of the DevTeam are reading this know that there are some ppl actively avoiding the event. The opposite of what you wanted. The way this event plays is driving ppl away from it. Counter-productive wouldn’t you say?
My wish is for each race to have their own style of Engy backpack & I wish merchants would sell more Universal Multi-Tool packs/skins. I have several sets of armor but only one Universal Multi-Tool pack/skin. I would like the abilty to make all my back armor pieces to look like my Universal Multi-Tool pack.
You have to repair(& pay for it) your armor in PvP? Wow! Guess I won’t be doing any PvP in GW2 then. :\ I was looking forward to playing some WvW, particulary with my friends, but if I’m going to have to repair my armor & pay for those repairs I won’t play it.
I like role-playing as I’m a roleplayer myself but in all honesty GW2 isn’t really a rp game. Neither was GW1. Sure, sure you can rp but the game isn’t really set up for it. If you want to rp no one is stopping you however you may find a better rp environment in games that are designed for it. Something like NWN1 or NWN2 where they have private servers & where they have DMs watching over the playerbase to insure that everyone RPs.
