try this one:
1. create shortcut to Gw2.exe
2. right click on newly created shortcut -> Properties and add params like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email your@email.com -password yourpassword -nopatchui
3. run from your new shortcut
this fix worked for me, first time i tried it i just got a black screen with the gw2 cursor, but when i double checked the password was wrong.
letting commanders lock down their siege for example putting down a ram and restricting it to people with 4 or higher ram mastery tiers would be nice, it would stop people who don’t know better from jumping on them without mastery and it would also solve the huge issue of servers creating accounts on other servers to grief their wvw through jumping golems off of cliffs and turning siege to face the wrong way.
also some sort of commander tier system would be great, perhaps that ranks up in response to feedback from players in their squad rather than just earn x money or do x in wvw, i have a document with the names of commanders i trust and the ones i don’t which works ok for me but isn’t ideal, especially for new players that may end up following a troll commander and come away with a negative view of wvw as a result, perhaps even add a long term meta achievement requirement to activate your commander tag in WvW so that you at the least probably know what you are doing before you tag up.
Right now there is a serious problem with empty zones, which arena net know and are planning to try and fix, but it has occurred to me that there is an easy way to fix this that doesn’t require any new content to be developed (but we will take the new content anyway) why can’t the overflow system which now only seems to kick in for lions arch be set to run in reverse and put players from multiple servers into the same instance of a zone? it seem’s like with guesting and the overflow system already in place it wouldn’t be to much work to do this and it would make levelling new characters alot less lonely.
My biggest problem is that they offered a solution, gambling is gambling it was obviously gambling and if you spent money on it then any loss is your responsibility and yours alone.
I gave that kid a stack of 250 candy corn. i wasn’t trying to shut him up.
how is it not fair? needing considerable effort is not the same as being unfair.
this blew out my expected gem spending by another 500, had to by 3 mini boxes =(
your right, account bound is a bad idea, they should be character bound.
yeah this sucks, i mean it’s almost like its only a quarter of the event or something.
download started and im getting 1.1mb/sec which is what i usually get from anet servers, although it does drop to 100kb/s every so often.
I’d take slow, im just getting flat out connection errors and downloading nothing.
