I see lots of updates,, but developers can still improve on existing gameplay. I hate doing storylines but I do them as they are a way to get points. Here is my suggestion. Once I have completed a story with one character, don’t make me do it all over again to try for achievements or for something to do. Let me select any character that is lvl 80 and go thru it. If not ,, find a way to skip thru the story so I don’t have to feed a dog,, carve some ice or other foolish things that I have had to bore my way through on another toon. There are enough hard (stupid is another word) challenges to get some achievements done which keep me in the story plenty long without having to listen to a story all over agian.
The game used to be great if you had a small guild. You could still progress, bring banners, gain vault space, etc. Now if you don’t play in a huge guild there is no benefits. This is unfair. It was one of the best parts of the game to be able to gain rep without being part politics. Now guild leaders get benefits, and you join just for chat and events but no real perks. I play with my family and we like to keep it small. Why can’t there be smaller easier quests for guilds that 1,2 or 3 players can complete and gain rep and benefits. Why not make the challenges scaled based on guild sizes so the family element is still viable. My daughter doesn’t need to see all the crap in bigger guilds. Maybe even scale dungeons so groups of 2 to 4 can go thru and still enjoy the content, with maybe a smaller reward and difficulty.
Since the last patch I have experianced and many others have also disconnects while out in WvWvW. Im sure its covered and I wish I had more details other than this is the only place it happens and its very random when it does. Usually happens when you get where you want to go and are about to defend or try to take something so you end up missing out.
