Mirta.5029Because we all have time for everything in one day, do we?
CoF takes practically no time at all, plus this isn’t a race. Nobody said you need to do it all in a day. Relax, it’s only a game.
Mirta.5029To your post all I can say – I did stand up to fight. Again and again and again and again. And it was very costly. 40 silver is a big deal sometimes. So I simply won’t do it again. Now what if the rest of the player base will think so? How great is it to have a boss that nobody does?
Not everyone is as easily discouraged as you. Go run CoF. You just made your 40 silver back plus some.
Awesome fight. I’m glad it isn’t easy.
Went fine for me, aside from that we lost.
Charr warrior since beta here. Would love to join you guys.
Well it sure as hell isn’t these forums. Sheesh.
Neither, if you have signet of rage and the elite banner you’re already set.
But if you HAVE to have one, take the Charzooka. At least it’s fun.
I like the tier 2 and 3 helms. That’s about it.
I love their focus on tech and firearms, love their self-reliance, and I think they look awesome in spiky heavy armor.
Anti-religious engineer cat monsters? If I didn’t know any better I’d think ANet was marketing the race with me personally in mind.
I thought they were pretty kitten in the first game and as soon as I saw the concept art for GW2 I turned to my brother and said “I WILL be playing a Charr warrior, no contest.”
Just my opinion, but when I think about the Iron Legion only engineers and warriors seem to fit. Thieves and rangers seem like they belong with Ash Legion, and I just can’t bring myself to the more magic oriented classes with a Charr character.
The shield does great in dungeons, as the above posters have mentioned. I hang onto it while running around Orr, mostly because I can’t be bothered to switch out my gear all the time. Helps in sticky situations where I have to deal with 5 or 6 mobs at a time too. Sometimes that couple seconds of blocking is all I need to last while my cooldowns come up.
I went through the opposite change, started out with a greatsword/rifle setup and switched to rifle/sword around level 50 or so.
After reading these forums I’m starting to think I’m the only person that’s happy with their warrior, sheesh.
I don’t do any PvP so I’m willing to accept that my opinion could totally change if I did, but having played a warrior in the Beta and pretty much constantly since release, I can honestly say that I enjoy it more than any other class. At least in PvE.
I run with healing shouts in full knight’s gear and it works out great for me. I don’t focus on healing power, but I’m not aiming for a real support build either. My shouts usually heal for around 1.1k each.
I tried banners and didn’t like them much. I’m too used to using shouts while I’m doing other things.
Edit: Running with a 15/25/0/30/0 trait distribution
I consider the rifle to be my warrior’s main weapon and I do just fine in most situations. If I have to switch to melee I just keep a sword and shield on my weapon switch. No complaints yet!
