As my opinion, I sincerely suggest that ROLL BACK all Precursor/Gold from Precursor which players got in the events. This is the only way to fan out the flame.

I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and I didn’t get anything worth a ton of gold or a precursor. All this would do is satisfy a few people and piss off a few different people who happened to get lucky (which doesn’t happen very often for some people, so let them be)
I hope this is not very often before I checked the precursor amount on TP.
Market has really broken so far. Just like the rising price of globs and t6 material. It may only cost 20g more to buy 250 globs compare with last few week. And the reason which make it happen is banning bot. It is fair to most of us.
But this time is totally different and unacceptable. The different of price is more than 200g!

@ting, not only is it too late for that, but they do not have the ‘technology’ to even roll back hacked / deleted characters (At least that’s what Ive seen them say), so I doubt they could do this, and even if they did, then all that would happen is that the people feeling cheated and raging would be replaced by the people losing their precursor/gold and raging.
Agree. So really think that anet made a big trouble to themselves.
And the point is there has no solution to solve it.

@epicsmooth, no they weren’t, not without an excuse, if just as an example, the drops had been a fixed 2 rares and 2 exotics, without a chance for precursors, and everyone got 2 rares and 2 exotics, how would people possibly complain about that? They wouldn’t because no one would feel at a disadvantage or cheated, even if others got exotics that were ‘worth’ more, I promise you no one would rage the way they are now.
Problem is, it was not just a ‘small’ bit of difference in terms of reward worth between those who got the precursors and those who did not, the difference is massive, about 4g to 150g in average, huge gap.

I come from Hong Kong.
Asian time zone like HK, Macau, AUS, Tawian, Singapore forums has “blow out” in this morning. Many people complain about the precursor reward. Many people below act as a fool after the final event.
1) who bought precursor before the event
2) who attend the event but haven’t get any precursor
3) who cannot attend the event coz the time (e.g. 4:00am in HK, TW. 7:00am in AUS, Monday. OK I KNEW this is US server. anet won’t care about these people)
