Theyre not being “fresh” at all. They are also doing a complete 180 on their manifesto.
THAT is why you are seeing complaints from a lot of players. All they want is for a dev to respond to these complaints, and the devs just arent doing it.

In case you hadnt noticed, they LIED to us and pulled a HUGE bait and switch tactic. They deliberately waited until 2 months after release as well, so nobody could start chargeback proceedings with their bank so they could keep the money.
The sad thing is, they dont even have the decency to even comment on the very serious issues with the game.
One other MMO tried this 7 years ago, and look what happened to it.

… i meen they must have made the max ammount online to maybe 50% then before. if you think about all those that said they will leave/have left/deletet account because of the patch, isnt it strange theres overflow today?

and to the “lazy” ppl: you dont have to get the new gears. its not like someone force you. dont find it fun to get new items? dont do it then! i normally dont do thing i dont like, but i might be uniqe in that… i dont know…
The title of this thread is faulty unless you have data to back up your claim of “vocal minority.”
I agree. What an odd claim by the original poster. Regardless of how one personally feels about the announced changes, the idea of how gear and progression would work was sold to the masses very early on. ArenaNet was not shy about their philosophy and their disdain for gear chases.
My point is, everyone who purchased this game knew what they were getting in this area ahead of time. To purchase a product hoping one day the developers would do a 180 on their philosophy is silly. Thus, it stands to reason that everyone who gravitated towards Guild Wars 2 did so because they agreed with the original philosophy.
To now suggest all the players are now a “vocal minority” is just ridiculous. That would be like suggesting all the players opposed to flying mounts are a minority. Or that all the players opposed to 40 man dungeon raids are a minority. Or that players who are in favor of the absence of quest-hub theme-park style adventuring are a minority. These are all principles the game was built upon, and if you (for some insane reason) purchased GW2 despite apparently hating all the design choices the developers originally made, then you have nobody to blame for your disappointments but yourself. Don’t pretend you’re standing on the side of the majority for a second.

No.. i didnt say i liked this change… i said i liked that they add NEW things… read? learn it!
only CoF magg run is cost/time effective for the exotics…
so I doubt anyone else would grind any other explorable…so the only dungeon gw2 endgame that is worth doing is CoF. They need to balance up the dungeons so ever dungeon are being used.
Why the need for grinding all the time? Do the explorable, different ones, and in time you will have your tokens. Its not like its hard to get crafted gears with the same stats on it. How about having fun while skipping the grind-feeling? I do all explorables so i dont get tierd of doing the same old magg just so i can get fast CoF-set and look like everyone else that grind… And guess what? I still get the dungeon-exotics – in time. Untill then i use crafted sets. Try play the game that way. Who knows, you might like it and enjoy it a bit more?
