Why? I am so confused my favorite build is now useless for no apparent reason.
Every time you guys nerf us we find a new way to play a thief but now I feel like I am done trying :/
Seriously guys you dont owe us anything I am just trying to understand the logic behind this nerf.

Yeah once you get to 80 you will have no problems creating clones to shatter, I use gs to open on my target so #2, then #4 dodge and shatter mind wrack (there is a trait to create clones on dodge later and also mind wrack does more damage + shattter effect also on yourself)
This little combo alone will destroy a glass opponent if they dont dodge any of it.
I agree with you about ileap, the new changes to it are terrible and I find myself failing to get my blurry frenzy off as well as I used to before.

Shatter still viable after all the nerfs, with mixed armor and traveler runes I still get just under 3k power with food/stacks in wvw and my survivability is good too.
so greatsword – sword/focus or I swap in pistol or torch in the offhand depending on what I am doing.
Sometimes even staff works if im looking to survive a big group fight.

This! I find it less reliable than before, at least before I was able to see my clone move to my target and could time my swap now in a big heavy fight I can barely tell if my clone is at my target or if it failed. There is some work to be done here guys…

Also when I ileap into a temporal curtain and swap it seems to want to proc light aura but it quickly dissapears? Im i doing this wrong or is this bugged?

I think there is enough posts here now about people who cant purchase gems to take this more seriously,

Hello Heber,

Thank you for the update.

So at this point, there is really nothing further you or I would be able to do to get this working. The issue appears to be intermittent with respect to affected accounts, but is occurring system-wide. This has reported to the developers and engineers so they can have a go at it. Hopefully a solution can be reached, but I don’t expect to hear anything back before tomorrow.

I cant buy gems right now with my credit card (I dont use Paypal)
tried 2 different cards so I know its not the issue.
I get a “unfortunately an error has occured , try again later” every time.
I have submitted a ticket to support about this: 855819

I just want to buy the grenth hood, any chance anet will keep these in the store for a while to make up for this somewhat common issue?

I fight on TC and I am seeing this more and more lately from those other 2 servers, you beat them and they log off before you stomp, sometimes even logging off when their health is around 10-20%.
This to me seems like an easy thing to fix, make it so you cant log off if you are downed until you respawn? Come on who is with me?

It takes a good 10 minutes to get into a map (used to take 10-15 seconds) and when it does load the art slowly pops in as well as the sound for another 5-10 or so minutes until everything is loaded then its fine no lag or anything.
I have a fast enough system and everything was super quick before this.
590gt video card, 16gb ddr3 ram, i7 dual quad core 4.0ghz etc

I think the designs would lend themselves well to everything from action figures, vynil premium toys and even more high end statues like the ones sideshow collectibles produces.

I hate how they disguise the biggest nerf to thieves by telling us that they want all the builds to be more viable, this is the biggest kitten you to our class and in no way an attempt to balance. What they are doing is making sure we are all corraled into condi thieves because well thats just the way the game is going I guess.
I spent so much money getting EVERYTHING ascended and now I gotta start over, what the hell anet…

Tarnished Coast is currently running organized havoc/roaming teams in WvW. Even in T1 we are very successful, and often meet strong opposition.
Great challenges, great fun, lots of kills, lots of bags.

EDIT; the last few days, and this weekend especially, our havoc teams on TC has actually taken more towers then the commanders. just FYI.
ATM i run with a small guild named TORK which specializes in havoc teams, but there is other guilds that also run organized havoc teams.

I am on TC , transffered towards the end of season 1.
Where I came from I only ran on havoc groups but have had some trouble finding a guild with some regulars that run nightly, Any chance I can join?
I run thief and mesmer mostly but also have a good guard and necro spec as well if you need a support type.

If not can we at least get a reset of points?
I went way too deep in points into some stuff I do not need anymore would be nice to be properly setup when spring league begin.

I really had to stop myself when doing this fight , the music was amazing not that the other music thus far has been any lesser, this just felt like such a perfect pairing to what was going on.

mesmer black water build seriously needs a nerf more than anything in the entire game right now, I dont even want to fight them anymore

I think your build is good!
I would try and get more toughness, maybe trade off some of that precision in your trinkets for it (you will need it if you like roam)
That being said change your trait to “hidden killer” and get that crit to 100% in stealth,
In my build I have 1800 armor, 115% crit damage and 16.2k health with food also 3400 attack I can show you in detail if you want.
As for your skills/utility I suggest hide in shadows and basilisk venom (quick cd) instead of what you have now , I like withdraw but since you have shadow step thats a good enough way of getting some distance between you and your target.

Yeah you are right in my screenshot you can see moa has an X on it but I can still select it and tuna shows up fine, its just weird how was I suppose to assume that selecting something blocked out would work? especially when this ability isnt even listed in the hero panel anywhere just odd. Screenshot is from last night.

maybe not serious but I noticed this today while reading the patch notes, polymorph tuna? what the hell is that and how come I have never seen it..oh thats right it doesnt exist on my mesmer even if I look at the hero menu under skills I see nothing.
