My friend did buy the account in past yes, but the problems were resolved and Anet gave him a new key. So this is irrelevant I think, as far as I know my friend didn’t resell the account.. He just applied a faulty key it seems, but now the excuse of being resold is being thrown out there.

So he sold you his keys, and now want to get the account back after it was blocked. Since both of you used the same key?

or he bought a fraudulent game 3 years ago and they just noticed it a the present time?

No he didn’t sell me anything? I only know his account is being blocked after he asked where his gems were. And I don’t know who gave him the key to apply to his account. I am just here to get my friend back ingame and trying to communicate here, since my friend can’t get on the forum with his account. And I find it sad he would get terminated for this, while he is willing to co-operate and cover all the costs of reapplying a new cd-key from anetstore.

I Don’t understand, I am pretty sure my friend didn’t resell his account. However about the HoT key, I can understand that part because he made a mistake. But he is willing to buy the HoT key (ultimate) at full price from the store, and paying the extra fees needed to get the fradulent key removed from his account, since he didn’t pay for the fradulent key. I am sure if he had any idea about these things, he would’ve bought the key himself instead of accepting his friends one. I hope you guys can give him a chance, since it would be sad to see him go because of this mistake.

Yea it sucks those corrupt / counterfeit keys are out there ;/ wish there was a way they wouldn’t even be able to activate it. But i am sure it takes tons of time to figure all this out for anet..

I hope everyone learns from this, and first check with Anet before applying a key. Fingers crossed my friend will get helped

I am sure he has no bad intentions, but is more or less a misunderstanding. The upcoming week is his payday, so I am sure he will buy a new HoT key if you guys let him. It is just sad to see he is part of this one big mess now :/

Yup, sounds like applying a fraudulent key on the account. We can’t help unless you give us a ticket #.

My guess is that the key was purchased fraudulently, re-sold, applied to an account, that person didn’t know about the 72 hour delay on ultimate edition gems, put in a ticket and by that time we identified the fraud and closed the account.

I understand trying to save some money, but there is a reason these bad sites are listing for such a low price.

I am just saying, he probably doesn’t have bad intentions if he played the game for 3 years and reached the 25k anount of AP. I’m sure he will pay the costs for the key + extra fees that apply because of the corrupted key. Let’s hope other people make not the same mistake!

Yes i agree, but if he is willing to buy the ultimate cd key for 100 eur from the anet store now. I don;t see the issue, well i do not know where his friend got the key from or anything. But it sounds to me he should be given a fair chance if he is willing to buy the key from anet store. at least they could have told him, while the key was active for 6 days on his account right? ;/ I don’t blame anet for taking measures, but give him a x amount of hours ban then and let him buy the new key from the store. But terminating his 25.500 ap account sounds a bit drastic ;/

I did not. But i feel it is somewhat unfair, If he is willing to buy the full expansion at full price from store, I don’t see the issue. He knows now he should’t have accepted the key, but support isn’t helping him in any way..

So this morning I try to log-in ingame, and I get the message my account is being terminated since i’ve assisted in Account Sales? I don’t know what this is all about, so I mail support. Apparently they do not want to help me… I activated my HoT key which was given to me by a friend 7 days ago, and asked them yesterday where my 4000 gems were, since it stated up to 72 hours. However I suddenly got the response my account is terminated and I engaged in real life Account Sales? What is this all about??? I am willing to buy my own key, but instead they terminate my account and say I practise activities I didn’t do? I hope someone of Anet sees this and can help me out

So i recently came back to the game.
I had made a eternity in the past, but i am not able to get the title?
Eternity = 2 legendaries (twilight and sunrise) So it would seem normal to get the title?
Can Anet please respond to this.

It shows i can make select the greatswords … but can’t make eternity …
Support isn’t helping me neither, they are not answering my questions..
What can i do?

If I good remember it’s bugged for me since last dailies update patch. AP’s are not a big deal actually, but from what I heard not all have this bug. if it’s true that’s uncool imho
