There is a fix so far that seems to work. Set the UI size to normal and the chests shouldn’t crash the game.

Like others, a chest from a dynamic event in Auric Basin crashes client to desktop. I’ve tried to open it in numerous locations with an immediate crash to desktop. The chest is blue.

Dungeons used to be an aspect of the game that I dreaded. No longer the case with RISE. The experience is enjoyable, mellow and patience of the members never ceases to amaze me. Very thankful for this great group of folks!

Oddityangel, my girlfriend and I have been trying to fix this issue as support hasn’t replied. If you have a metabolic primer or utility primer on your character, try eating different food. I ate a totally different food and utility than I normally use and then when I wielded my weapon and voilà my avatar was no longer invisible. I am not sure if the bug will happen again but at this point it fixed the disappearing act. I hope this helps! Good luck! (I also sent you this in an in game mail)

2 days now after support ticket submitted, no reply yet and the issue still persists. I went to far as to do the following:
Repaired the Guild Wars 2 Client
Waypointed to different areas of the map
Removed all armor/gear/trinkets/weapons from character
Interacted with a box of fun (again)

Nothing has worked. I would be less distraught with this situation if it were not my main character that I have worked on so hard and happily on for so long. I have prided myself to take on goals for this character, gearing him up in all ascended and truly enjoying the guardian class to its fullest. Like Oddityangel, I have a huge sentimental attachment to my character and have lost the desire to login, seeing my avatar with this persistent bug.

I have the same issue. I have submitted a support ticket. I suggest anyone else with the glitch/bug does the same. Thanks!
