I give up on my ranger now. No reason at all to play it. Also these devs though we would be excited about these so called buffs. Yet they are horrid which only goes to show they have no idea what they are doing and their play testers are trash.
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out! Back and forth all night, its complete chaos and war, best WvW I have ever been a part of so thanks to everyone for that

If I have my pet on passive in WvW why the hell does he run to the person I have targeted or try and find a target when I press his F2.
I use a black bear and a blue moa and I use them to cast condition removal on me or 3 seconds of protection. Yet when ever I try to use those they run to attack my target and use it or find a target if there is no target and run to that before casting. It is bad enough you added a ninja nerf that will cause the F2 to be a a short cool down when switching to the pet while in combat so we can no longer swap them out as needed for the debuff or buff.
IMO the fanboys in this post will end up being the ones who kill this game. Ignoring whats wrong with the game and telling those that have progressed faster then you that they are doing it wrong will fix nothing.
I myself am in 4 guilds whos members range from 20-220 members and in the last week I have seen at most 4-7 people on in each during prime time.
I hope this gets fixed soon. Over 3/4s of my guild has quit the game and of those that do still play they don’t even touch their lev 80s. They are all now playing alts or only do spvp.
I myself just did my first ever CM explore and only got 45 tokens. One guy in my group only got 15.
I guess it is not your fault cause you can’t really pick your fights in WvW. Then again you can pick what encounter you edit into the video. It seems like almost 90% of the people you fight are not true 80s. I can tell by the fact that they almost all have a green arrows by their names pointing up.
That being said you are more then likely fighting people still in blues and greens who do not have a full 70 points in their trait lines.
Still a nice video, but the facts stated above take away from it a bit.
At this point I am just leveling alts of each of the professions I enjoy. I have found no real reason to play my level 80 anymore. I am still having a ton of fun playing my alts so I think I will get my money worth over the next few months.
I have learned to just look at this game more like a single player game that cost 59 bucks. You get a few hundred hours of fun then walk away.

Everything costs money, karma or dungeon tokens.
I enjoyed the game very much at first but now it starting to frustrate me
I loved lvling my ranger but now with everything f*** up i don’t have any reason
To keep playing while this game has so much potential it has more flaws then goods that Completely destroy all the fun things left to do.
My lvl 80 ranger is pretty much on hold since there is no incentive to do anything in this game cuz the income from [input activity] issent rewarding enough for the time and cost investment put in the first place.
i cant craft cuz there is no relible income for gold -> TP
i cant farm for crafting due to the anti farming code
orange karma gear is around 42k per piece wtf???
i cant run dungeons cuz they drop only blue’s and green’s and very sometimes a yellow
i cant farm dungeon gold due to anti farming code
i cant farm for dungeon gear due to the 13k tokens needed to get a full set
i cant farm dungeons cuz there to time consuming for the reward given, loot as intellectual rewarding wise.
events are also not a reliable source of income anymore due to the massive zergs
i cant play the TP becuz every item is almost at vendor price.

I think most ppl saying the reward is not rewarding enough are using the wrong word.
Cuz atm ppl saying you need to play for fun dont understand that the issue issent all about the loot. It is about the a steady income of currency that is lacking in this game and the massive amounts of time and gold sinks put in to discourage this.
If they atliest would buff the rewards or lower the costs ppl would atliest have some incentive to stop complaining, cuz i can’t do kitten when am broke i can’t even vent my frustration on /m due to anti spamming code.
Imo there to many limiting Factors in gw2

The main reason imo they are making it hard to gain gold and/or removing all viable ways to earn gold. Is due to them not wanting people to use in game gold to buy too many gems. Soon they will come out with tons and tons of cash shop items and keeping the player base poor will promote more real money sales of gems.
Anyone who has played a fare amount of free to play games (in this case a buy to play game) with a cash shop knows this is what is normally done. You tell the player they can earn everything the cash shop has to offer if they just put in the time to get the gold to convert to what ever type of currency the cash shop uses. They then nerf every way to make money in game so it is almost like you spend more money trying to gain money.

I feel with each nerf like this they seem to be setting things up to push people into using the cash shop. I would not be surprise if they came out with a ton of new cash shop items like skins and the like.
Make it hard for people to get rewards in game then just toss some easy to get rewards in the cash shop.
They already seem to be nerfing ways to earn in game gold via crafting.
I just use bear type pets and put no talents or slots skills into boosting pet dmg or survival. That being said I destroy mobs in seconds sometimes taking on upwards of 4-5 at a time with my traps build.
I guess what I am trying to say is I don’t really see our pet being a big part of our dps. Unless you trait into beast mastery I find that my personal dps is just fine without my pet.
I am looking for a guild to run explore mode dungeons with on my 80 warrior. Something about halfway between casual and hardcore would be great. I run a banner support dps hybrid build and feel I would make a great addition to a dungeon team.
