+1 to character recustomization kit (most likely from gemstore) and character name change.
Also – I don’t like pets being “unstowed” (is that a word?) whenever the ranger goes from/to underwater or is attacked. Keep pets stowed until I manually unstow them!

@Illushia
I completely agree with your opinion but at the same time it’s irrelevant. What is relevant is the simple fact of promoting “get more for doing less”.
Or sharing magic find multiplier with the whole group?
I’ve been thinking about it as well but what exactly constitutes a group though, in the case of a Dynamic Event? All players within 10000 yard range? Would be kind of silly, don’t you think?
“Dynamic grouping” is a great concept in theory but falls short in such cases, as well as problems that support classes have with DEs (mobs dying too fast to be tagged and support not being taken into consideration when calculating contribution level, but let’s leave it out of this discussion for now).
Might as well chime in here…
In my opinion MF is one of the worst additions to the game compared to Guild Wars 1. Let me explain.
I’ve read an interesting topic (not sure if here or GW2guru or on reddit – I try to follow a few sites for Guild Wars 2 news) that ultimately came to the conclusion that MF gear is detrimental as it promotes reducing your combat power (you replace otherwise useful stats with MF that is useless to anyone but you) to achieve greater rewards than the rest of the group you play with.
I would very much like to have MF removed altogether or at least limit it to consumables.
Thoughts?
Seconded. (obligatory stuff to meet 15 chars post requirement)
All confirmed bugged on Far Shiverpeaks (EU).
@ Selo
It boggles my mind how can anyone think in that way… Guild Wars 2 is exactly the game where “true game” does not begin before 80 but at the same time – in no case it ends at the max level! For me, the only explanation for such opinions is being conditioned by gear treadmill games and it’s sad beyond belief.
This is permanently bugged on Far Shiverpeaks (EU) as well – no NPC.
Good post, I agree with most of it. The biggest gripe with Orr for me is that it’s so dull, gloomy and depressing. It’s very unpleasant, drags my mood down and makes me not want to log in after hitting 80.
Guild Wars had a similar problem with Domain of Anguish – I very much preferred Ring of Fire (or even better – Echovald Forest / Jade Sea!) areas to Elona endgame areas.
I understand that endgame area can’t really be all flowers and butterflies but it doesn’t have to make you want to go hang yourself, for god’s sake…
