Awesome poem for all of you pvp players out there!

A GW2 PvP Poem – A Song of Blazes
The mists are clearing
and the field is shown
Around, teams are gearing
but my eyes are fixed to the throne

Seize theirs! We chant together
And swiftness bless our feet
One goes close and others center
Tonight foes be turned to meat

Swords dance to the song of blazes
A stab in the back from a knife unseen
Warriors shout and the mesmer dazes
but despite the chaos, my mind is keen

Courage is harnessed and the enemy repelled
Justice be delivered through blade and flame
To surrender the vice are now compelled
Mash the ‘F’ quick, lest they do the same

First of all, Revenants are AWESOME!
As an elementalist player I felt like I’m playing a very cool new set of elements.
I loved it! The skills are cool, the idea is cool, and traits overall are really cool!
That said… You’ve already heard of the numbers being too low. Too low dps, too low heal, alright, everybody said that already.
What I think is that changing a legend is what needs to buffed. Don’t force us to take invocation trait line to have the legend invocation an instant. give more bonuses, damage, healing, boons, upon invoking a legend.

Other than that I guess you’ve already heard all the classics. Give more bleeding stacks, more torment stacks, less activation time on skills etc etc.

Living Story Season 2 is a Big Mistake...

Most of you guys miss the giant portal into the past in Lion’s arch.
I think Anet need to exploit the fractals of the mists better. Let us earn fractal relics and ascended gear by returning to more old events of the living story like the bosses of aetherblade and flame and frost. Add twenty new fractal levels, featuring scarlet battles, clockwork foes, the destruction of the tower of nightmares etc. This way you can keep your temporal story temporal, but still allow players who missed it to catch up, and earn fantastic gear along the way.

I have an idea
How about you give us a range of dates for living world releases?
Instead of announcing July 1st, announce July 1st to July 8th
Reasons why it’s better that way:
1) People like to postpone their log in until the next update. This creates a drop in your logins. If you tell people a range of dates for the next update, they will try and log in every day to check if it started. Greatly boosting your number of logins.
2) It’ll feel much more… realistic(ish) if you don’t tell us when the bad guy is going to attack. The leaders of Tyria are smart enough to guess when is the bad guy is going to attack, but they can’t know for sure.
3) Some people have specific activities on specific days. Releasing the new content on different days ensures everyone’s best interest (ish)

sirius a good way to use inscription in lower cost is use major inscription with mystic forge items with the armor or weapon piece.
also they could tell us “buy the superior inscription, use it on the piece in the mystic forge, and you get to keep the inscription”

Hello!

I’m an old player of GW, I played GW1 for over 5000 hours and I’m a great fan of GW2

Everyone are saying really important stuff, so I would like to refer a little to the changes beteween the games, and gaps that I think that should be filled.

- GW1 title system was somehow much more apealing. People grinded for hundreads of hours for titles, in GW2 it lost its magic. I believe that if you find a way to make titles more relevant to the player, you will open a brand new area for people to advance and enjoy. For example: you can say that if the player wears the title of Charr hunting, he will get +5% damage VS Charr oponents.
The idea is, of course, to make things a little more similiar to the Lightbringer title track of GW1.

-Skill and trait unlocks –
I suppose you noticed your last update, with the new healing skill, was amazing. Many people finally found a solution to their healing skill. But what about traits? weapon skills? slot skills? and most importantly the elite skill which is Almost Never Useful?
My idea is: add quests for defeating enemies and through that “Absorbing their essence” or something like that, to unlock new skills and elite skills.
also you can add a new trait track which will have uniqe bonuses, such as power/toughness but each point invested in it will cost 1.5 or 2points.
this will add A LOT to the veriaty of builds.
Also you can make titles relevant to skills, such as: once you reach max title of rifle kills, you unlock a special riffle only elite skill.
Another idea is to unlock a new type of combo finisher, for new abilities.

Lore:
The stories are great, truly, new ones and olds. However many of them stay as stories, never explored.
We saw you adding southson cove and that other area where the sky festival apeared, can’t remember its name. I’m sure that many players will be happy to go back to explore the crystal dessert, visit the corpse of glint, or go to the Elon river and search for secret Order of Whispers passages, or invade the flame ligeon home lands.
Also, the Cursed Shore somehow fails to match the story of the character after defeating zhaithan, If you could create a new exploreable Kingdom of Orr, and give access to it only for players who defeated zhaithan already, that will be nice.

I have three more things I want to say befor summering:
1) please add duels, and make sure to make it possible to duel another player in any PvE explorable area.
2) The way magic find and agony resistance advance are amazing, I would even dare say perfect. You never feel the grinding of it and you always feel progression. Add more stuff like that.
3) I recall a promise to make recipe for precursor legendery items, which have grown WAY too expensive, just a reminder

now to summerize:
– Make titles more relevant, such as Grawl slaying will advance your damage against grawls and Sword slaying will advance your skill with a sword and unlock paths to new skills.
– Don’t just give away access to new skills, make us fight for the right to use them.
– Watch the “Arena net manifesto” and notice what is Ree saying about the character being the hero of the land, then look at the Cursed Shore and take notes of how the entire nation of Orr is in desperate need of an update.
– add new, more uniqe trait tracks, that could even be more or less expensive on the trait points, or add quests to gain more trait points, also feel free to add trait abilites. All should be very difficult to unlock, don’t just give us easy access to things like you did with the healing skills.

Thank you very much for the attention and your time!

When Liza opened her eyes she was in the upper level of the ruined cathedral of eternal radiance, near Lyssa’s statue. It still stood proud. The sun was placed in the sky but its light somehow failed to colour the sky with blue. They were dark instead, and no stars nor clouds were in them. The land stopped exploding, and started sinking. It was difficult to say whether the water are going higher, or the ground lower into the ocean, but either way, this was the end of Orr. Corpses of charr and humans floated in the raising black water of the ocean. Screaming filled the air. “Lyssa, please, I beg you, show me what to do!” Liza prayed to the statue. She didn’t feel answered. “Oh who am I kidding? Lyssa abandoned this land in the Exodus of the gods, long time ago.” Then she remembered a spell Khilbron showed her years ago. It was a memory spell, infusing your thoughts and dreams into a holy object. But there was nothing holy around her to use." Abbadon will feast on your eyes" she remembered the words Razakel and Khilbron said. “You know what god of secrets?! you didn’t win yet! you are not claiming my eyes!” Liza breathed deeply and tore her jade-like bright green eyes from their holes. The pain didn’t bother her, she was completely focused in her goal. “My name is Liza of Lyss, tell my story.” she chanted to her eyes. By the time she finished; the black water almost reached her. Her eyes glowed bright green, and transformed into actual jade. Then they floated on the ocean, slowly at first, tearing the ocean as they accelorated. One of them flew north, and was never found.

“I know this story because I found one of the jade eyes. It told me of what happened to Orr, and to prepare; because Nightfall is coming. My name is spearmarshal Kormir, and I swear on Liza’s name that destroying Arah was Abbadon’s last victory. "

Liza’s soul was never corrupted by Abbadon, nor by Zhaithan’s rise. The goddess Lyssa rewarded her courage and claimed her spirit. She became an avatar of the Lyssa, wondering the world, helping heroes, and people who have ran out of hope.

I wrote this story with hope for some “Living World” content regarding the now healed realm of Orr. please send us back there! we want to rebuild arah!

It only took the charr legions a few days to reach the shores of Orr. They killed burned and ruined anything in their path, including temples, villages, even animels. Orr burned.
Liza loved the land, and she loved the city of Arah. She couldn’t stand the idea of losing. Vizier Khilbron was no where to find though. She searched for him through the whole palace and couldn’t find the only man strong enough to stop the destruction. The charr reached the gates of Arah, and stopped. The gate guard was stronger then they expected, and their battle with him baught Liza some time. She went to the catacombs, the only place she didn’t check yet. Vizier Khilbron was down there, but he wasn’t alone, Razakel acompanied him, as they were searching text in some scrolls. Liza was a brilliant girl, she figured out what is going on. “Khilbron no! the god of secrets won’t help us! We will fail if you will unlish this kind of magic!” “Night will fall on the charr.” Khilbron answered. “Razakel, dispatch her.” Razakel leaped at Liza, willing to strike her dead this time. She didn’t react, her body fell beneath him easily, but she didn’t bleed as he bit her head off.
“Looking for someone?” The real Liza said from a few yards away. “Take this!” Liza’s body started floating and the ground shaked. The bones around Razakel started glowing pink, and shot pink lightnings at him. Wounding and burning with every hit. He was paralized and confused. Liza stepped into the pinkish chaotic area, and each lightning that hit her seemed to only make her stronger. “Back to the realm of torment you filth!” she said, pointing at his head. Razakel’s brain started aching. He felt unspeakable anguish and couldn’t react. Then, inside his head, his brain literally exploded. He was gone, along the chaos storm that Liza had summoned.
She turned to Khilbron now. He was reading a scroll. “Hail Abbadon the one true god. Unleash your gore and torment to this land, destroy the invaders, make Nightfall”. Liza tried to summon another chaos storm at the vizier but it was worthless. Khilbron was shielded by his own magic, which reflected Liza’s spell against her. The pink lighnings stroke her, leaving her wounded suvirely, and Khilbron was untouched. She fell on the ground.
“Please… stop it, you will destroy the entire land!”
Khilbron ignored her, and kept on chanting. Then he stopped. A moment of silence fell on the catacombs, And then it started. The ground was shaking, and an un-natrual darkness fell on the city. The ground beneath the charr army started to explode, blowing some of them away, and some fell to the new pich- black rifts. The plants and the trees first lost their green, and then started to rot and crumble until they fell apart. Any water that wasn’t in the ocean vaporized, leaving dead fish in their pools and fountains, causing a horrible smell. But the worst was yet to come. Liza knew she has to stop this, but she clearly couldn’t stop Khilbron. He attacked her with his staff, yieling praises to his god. “Abbadon will feast on your eyes!” he said. Liza managed to regain some strength. She caught the vizier’s staff as he was striking her with it, and closed her eyes. The staff disapeared from Khilbron’s hand.
“What have you done?!” he yield. “You stupid girl!”
“I sent it somewhere you will never find it!” she said. “The same thing I am going to do with myself!”. Liza disapeared.

Liza grew up into a fine young woman, learning the graceful and elegant arts of the mesmers. She could invade people’s minds; summon illusions to drive her enemy mad, and teleport. Age only did justice by her beauty, her eyes glowing with the jade-like color. The men of the palace wondered whether she is human or some kind of an avatar of Lyssa. Today Liza headed to the catacombs beneath the palace to study some of the ancient scrolls hidden down there. The catacombs air was thick and whoever walked there couldn’t help but step on some bones. She found a scroll which was titled only with the word “Sixth.” It told the story of the evil god of secrets – Abbadon and his banishment to the realm of torment. Liza was going to stop reading when she realized someone else was down there with her.
“Abaddon’s tale is a sad one isn’t it?” the man said.
“What do you want Terick?” Liza asked without looking at him.
Terick didn’t answer, he jumped at her and they both dropped down to the ground. “Abbadon will feast on your eyes!!!” he yield as they struggled on ground and bones. Suddenly Terick was lying on the ground alone. He couldn’t see nor hear Liza until a long moment afterwards she reapeard a few yards away, illusionary purple and pink butterflies serounding her. Terick felt furios by her mesmeric tricks. “Hail Abbadon!!” he screamred. His skin glowed in a sick verdant color and he started transforming. The bones on the ground near him started floating and the skulls turned their rotten faces toward him. Liza screamed as Terick’s body enlarged itself to tripple the size it was, and turning into a torment demon. She froze when he looked at her, feeling desperate with fear and desperation. Terick was now fully transormed, he was walking on four now, thorns grew on his back and his teeth were as big as Liza’s arm, his eyes glowing in a sick violet colour. he grawled something that was somewhat familiar to Abbadon’s name and leaped at her. Terick never reached her though, a wave of strong wind mixed with bones and dirt blew him ten yards backwards. Liza fell on the ground where she stood. She looked back and saw Vizier Khilbron pointing his staff at Terick.
“Razakel!” yield Khilbron. “Your demonic being is not welcome in the city of the five gods!”
“You fool!” said Razakel, Terick’s demonic form. “Nightfall is coming. The margonites will claim Augury Rock. All will be consumed by Abbadon’s nightmare!”
Liza regained her courage, she stepped near Khilbron in attempt to face the demon together.
“Leave.” Said Khilbron. Liza knew after ten years of working with the vizier that arguing with him is worthless. She teleported away, leaving more illusionary pink butterflies behind her.

Liza waited for the vizier to return in the palace’s enerance hall. She examined the pictures to pass the time; she didn’t have to wait long though. Khilbron returned sooner then she expected.
“What in Grenth’s name was that?!”
“A demon, escaped from his prison. It matters not now. He is gone.”
In the following few months Liza studied more combat spells. She learned how to dominate people’s minds, how to summon a chaos storm, and how to create clones to defend her. One day when she studied in a one of the city’s beautyful gardens, she noticed a change in the cheerful behaviour of the folk. Rumors of the searing of Ascalon came to Arah and the people were terrified of the coming charr invasion. The charr were ferocious, terrifying beasts, who hated the human race and seeked its destruction. And they were making their offense, winning. Liza teleported back to the palace to seek the vizier’s council.
“Do not fear child.” he said. “I will not let the city fall to the charr, we have the gods on our side”.
“The Ascalonian thought so too!” she yield at him. Now theire sky are burning with dark magic, and their lands scarred and scattered.
“Well child, the Ascalonians did not have ME to defend them.” he replied.

Khilbron and Liza climbed the relatively big stairs leading to the gates of Arah. Statues of the five gods decorated the stairs to the left and to the right. Each statue was magnificent in its own way; they were ten feet high and four feet wide glowing with magical colorful lights, a different color for every god. When they reached the gate’s guard Liza almost bowed for she thought it was Balthazar himself. He was gigantic, holding a big greatsword, it’s blade made of sharpened ruby, or so it looked like. The guard recognized Vizier Khilbron, everyone knew him as he was the personal adviser okitteng Reza.
“Welcome back to Arah master Khilbron” said the guard, as he opened the gigantic reinforced brown gates of the city.
“Thank you” Liza said as they entered the central square of the city. The guard closed the gate behind them. The city of Arah earned its reputation by Liza’s judgement of the square. It outmatched her wildest dreams. the whole central square was a one big garden, with just enough roads for the people to walk through. The rest was all grass, flowers, and high trees. A big statue of Dwayna was placed infront of them, in the middle of a fountain. the air smelled fresh and everyone around seemed glowing with happiness. Khilbron started leading them to the palace, he wanted to start teaching her as soon as possible. Somehow,he felt it was of great importance. They almost reached the palace when a man approached them, he was dressed rather ordinary but something in his face looked corrupted to Liza. “Who is that Khilbron? a new pet?” the man said.
“Away with you Terick! go bother someone else.”.
Terick now was close to them, he was less than a feet from Liza. “You have pretty eyes” he said to her. Liza was scared by his look and the way he talked. She retreated to hid behind Khilbron’s robes. “Terick, out of my sight, now!” Terick bowed and went away.
They entered the palace’s golden halls. the walls were decorated with paintings of the five gods and of previous kings of Orr. The floor was made of glass so shiny that Liza could see her own reflection in it. The Vizier’s chambers were up one of the spires. They climbed the stairs leading there, until they reached a library room at the top. A small bed was placed in one of the corners, and in the other there was a desk, clearly used for reading. infront of them there was a window, viewing the whole city which glowed in the golden sunlight. “Come child, let us start studying”. He said. And study they did, for ten productive long years, then everything changed.

Hello everyone!
This story tells the tale of a brilliant young hero who expirienced the destruction of Orr first handed. Hope you enjoy it!

In dedication to Lisa Isakov, the love of my life, who somehow finds the strengh to not hate me for all the time i spend on GW2

It was the summer of 1060 AE when Liza first visited the cathedral of eternal radiance, which was a temple for the goddess of beauty Lyssa. Her parents decided that as a sixteen year old it’s time she will learn who she was named after. And indeed it was a fit name. Liza was a beauty herself as well. She had a curly blond hair and her body structure was fit. Her eyes were jade – like, green, clear and bright. The sun was half hid behind the clouds and colored the temple’s stone with gold. The ocean breeze was cool and along the semi cloudy sky the weather was perfect for traveling. The temple was placed on a small hill on the northern shore of Orr, combining the beauty of the sky, ocean, and magnificent human building work. It was made of 2 levels; the upper level’s ceiling made of gems and stone, sitting on great pillars and viewing the ocean. But Liza didn’t care much for the upper level; she wanted to see what’s down below.
“Mom?” she said. “Can we go down? I wanna visit the archive’s level”
“I’m not sure were allowed to sweetie.” Her father replied.
“It’s a temple dad, they won’t hurt us if we wonder off to forbidden places, everybody here are priests, come on!”
Liza left her parents and went to find the stairs leading to the lower level, her parents followed, murmuring something about her being a teenager.
The lower lever was carved in the hill, a non-natural cave. It served the priests as a library; Liza never saw so many books in one place. She looked up and tried to count how many books were there, while walking backwards. She counted two dozens of shelves until she bumped into somebody.
“Ouch! Watch where you’re going you idiot!” he yield at her. They both turned around to face each other, the man was going to yell some more but he got stunned by Liza’s beauty.
The man was middle aged, wearing gray blue and green robes, in one hand he held a scroll and in the other he held a great staff with a blue gem in its end.
“I’m sorry dear” he said in an exotic accent. “I didn’t mean to yell, you scared me.”
“It’s alright sir; pardon me asking but what does this symbol on your robes mean?”
“This love, is the Orrian emblem, wore only by men of the palace.” He answered.
Liza’s parents only now caught up with them. “We are so sorry if our daughter bothered you Master Khilbron, Liza’s curiosity is almost an illness.”
“Absolutely not! A child’s curiosity is a blessing of the gods, as is this child’s mind.” He answered to them quickly, with a noticeable theme of fury. “Liza is it? If you like, I could take you with me to Arah, teach you the ways of arcane, and the ways of the gods, I don’t believe coincidences happen inside temples, under the gaze of the five.”
Liza’s eyes got somehow brighter, she always wanted to visit Arah, it was said the city was entirely built by the gods, long ago, before humans ever landed a foot on Tyria. No child could say no to that.
“Mom? Dad? Can I go? Pretty please?”
“Definitely not. You are way too young to leave the house, come now, we should go back.”
Vizier Khilbron looked disappointed, he turned around again facing a book shelf, he reached for one of the books and started reading quietly. Liza’s hearing was good, she heard what he was saying, his mouth spoke no words; he sounded somewhat different. The Vizier’s staff started glowing, showwering the entire room with blue. She and her parents almost reached the stairs when suddenly they both stopped. “Liza my dear, do you want to walk with this man?” her father asked.
“Yes dad! I do! I always wanted to see Arah, and he is offering me the study of magic! Actual magic! Of course I want to go!”
“Then you can go my love.” Her mother said.
Liza got so excited she didn’t even bother to say goodbye, she dashed back to Khilbron and told him she can come with him.
“I’m glad to hear that. Come now, I have a lot to show you, Arah is a perfect place, especially for young and brilliant girls.

I’m going for an i5 core, which graphics card would you recommand me?
