I usually double click an enemy and the first skill slot is an automatic trigger, right? Well, when I’m using a harpoon and underwater I MUST press 1 or click the skill slot in order to attack. My spear gun works perfectly. Oh, and I’m close enough to the enemy, so it’s not that. I’m a female Human-Warrior. It started happening last week, I think.

Make no mistake, this it’s NOT an overheating issue. That’s what ANet told me when I had the same issues during weekend beta. So I searched far and wide and finally found a solution which made it possible for me to buy this game.

I have a GT 540M and what fixed this issues permanently for me was using MSI Afterburner to underclock my GPU. You can only manipulate the Core Clock and the Memory Clock. You can try lowering those from 50 to 100 MHz. Your performance in-game will be affected, but you will not crash, trust me. Also, try to close your web browser before launching the game. This has caused crashes for me, even with underclocking activated.

I haven’t tried this. I will test it tomorrow.

The number of contacts appeared for me the first days of head-start and some days after the official release of the game. Then the notice just disappeared. I think that the feature has been disabled, since I asked all my contacts and they either never noticed the number of persons connected – icon or said that it disappeared for them as well.

I’d like someone to confirm this.

I always get this missing voice bug on the first line of text on EVERY scene in story mode conversations and randomly at any other lines. It also happens with field text boxes, like when Logan talks after he’s giving you an explanation of the next quest. This only started happening after the latest patch. I’m a Human-Warrior and went with “Grew up on the Streets” and “Searching for My Parents” options. It also happened with my Charr character, which I deleted recently after the patch.
