I would camp the same vista for days making sure no one could do map comp.
Make ele > Equip two daggers > add any sigils > use any rune > use celestial amulet.
Now, when you get into matches run to mid and just spam all your keys regardless if you are fighting anyone. Make sure to randomly pop your cantrips every few seconds to make it seem like you’re actually doing something.
Yeah my client crashed during a match when it was like 400v400. I just assumed anet servers couldn’t deal with me playing my PU build.
Hey, I noticed when you put 3 points into the Domination trait line you get a minor trait called Dazzling, which is supposed to apply 5 stacks of vulnerability to target when you daze them. Normally, when you use Magic Bullet, it dazes and stuns the target and applies the 5 stacks, but if you put 4 points into Dueling and grab Duelist Discipline for the cooldown reduction, magic bullet no longer applies 5 stacks of vulnerability from Dazzling.
Not sure if this is intentional or not. Maybe having reduced cooldown with magic bullet makes the 5 stacks of vulnerability too frequent, thereby making it overpowered?
This is how to troll ppl on mesmer.

Skyhammer best map in game. Nuff said.

I’m really curious as to how you guys are figuring out if the other team is a pre-made. We don’t tell you, and looking at the data there are very few party rosters compared to solo.
Is it just match quality being bad? Are you just recognizing player names?
So I just queued unranked arena match after coming back from work.
Queue pops in 15 seconds (good)
Courtyard, Kyhlo, and Temple. I vote Temple.
…6 votes for Courtyard (gg premade)See attached screenshot for result
Epic team comp, thanks Obama!
Going off of the PvP titles I saw on teammates/opponents I presume at least MMR was okay.
Only one person on blue got any rank points, and that was because I brought warbanner. What should be done? Maybe we can start with one or more of these:
- Ensure premades never face non-premades, and perhaps also eliminate a party of 4 from queueing
- Remove Courtyard from the map selection, at least when it is premade vs non-premade
- Give each party exactly one vote (so a party of 4-5 has only one vote for a map)
tl;dr—Matchmaking evidently failed, as it took about 15 seconds to match a solo queue with a premade (or near full premade)
Courtyard + premades spawncamping ensured my 4 teammates got zero rank points for playing.
Eliminate premade vs non-premade, remove Courtyard, or give each party exactly one map vote
LOOOOOOL I WAS IN THAT MATCH
I think they should add an item to the gem store that costs a lot of gems that kills all enemy players on the map. This will make pvp p2w and everyone will stop doing pvp. Then no one will qq about ui or mmr.
omg is one of those screen shots u playing with the queue window trolling you?
You mention a lot about how match making is screwing you over, but I don’t really think it matters. Day 1 i was kinda annoyed with the match making and the surprises in cy…
Other than the ui and map voting everything is the same…
Beasts still spawn at 3 min intervals, Stillness still at 1130,830,530. If you get past the team stacking and 4v5 stuff and just remember how the game was 7 days ago u can still win and still carry 4 other scrubs.

From my experience in the past I really enjoyed doing solo q cuz I could run pretty cheesy builds like power necro/ ranger. Nowadays, you will queue up for an arena, and granted it takes 30 seconds, but you always get super gg conquest teams who are always complimenting each other.
I remember back in the day when I first made my power necro I won like 50 games straight cuz I was doing solo queue.
THE BIG DIFFERENCE:
-CURRENT-
1. When you are on a team you have people who will back each other’s builds.
1a. Teams of 5 can easily 3 cap a bunch of pugs with 2 people on each point then a bunker on the third.
-PAST-
2. When you were in solo queue (in the past) everyone’s build was random (aside from the meta) so the games were fun and unpredictable.
2a. Sometimes you would see the rare bunker trying to support the team by holding home.
2b. Other times it would be 5 dps builds vs. 5 dps builds and it would add a facet of strategy to the game because you would have to rotate with the pugs without and voice communication software (cuz we all know what happens when you try to type in an arena.)
3. I really didn’t mind the long queue times for spvp, because at least I could test a new build in a real match (not hotjoin)
3a. As a mentioned above, solo queue in the past was great! No sense of organization, or people traiting or switching toons just to roflstomp your comp.
-Thats all folks,
i got two titles since the patch came out ty anet

When the game starts it will say a person or it will say a guild group vs another person or guild group. For example, “Big Teddy Guild” vs. “Hopikins.” Clearly the second team is not a pre-made guild team.
I’m curious about your traiting choices. Care to explain to me the purpose behind 25 in domination?

Insert random elitist troll rage
Wow, I read your first two paragraphs and I just said to myself, “Mother of troll,” lol.
However, you did make a few good points so I will refute them and continue to defend this build, although I don’t think you will read it because you are clearly an elitist who just bashes people’s builds because they are better than yours.
First of all, people usually look at an oddly numbered trained build and just dismiss it. These people clearly can not count unless it is by even numbers. Someone who dismisses 1/3/5 in a build is a troll
I will admit that signet of ether is a semi-permanent modification to your boons that will make you more easily identifiable however everything he said about it healing less and how it is inferior to ether feast is completely wrong. Once again, someone who can not do math.
Finally, to address the condi. There is a setting in the game where you can “Turn red circles on for enemy aoe.” Turn that setting on. That’s a good setting.
Most elitist PVPers in this game always say, “Fight on Point and die on point.” Yeah you could abide by that philosophy if you want to get aoe condi bombed and die.
I believe this user completely disregarded the guild wars 2 form motto, “Be heard! Seek wisdom! Join a conversation with fellow adventurers, or start your own.”
In closing, normally I would not feed a troll, but this build rules. Kthxbi
What exactly is the strategy with these builds? How do you deal with conditions?
And is this for hotjoin?
The HP pool for this build is high enough to deal with condi. But if you are dying repeatably with condi dmg you can swap any utility for [Null Field] or [Arcane Thievery].
I wouldn’t go Phantasmal Disenchanter because it uses a Phantasm slot that you will need for DPS.
I’m curious about your traiting choices. Care to explain to me the purpose behind 25 in domination?
Yea a lot of ppl get confused with meta-builds with odd numbered traits.
Basically the 5 in Domination is for an extra 5% dmg initially. This build requires you to open with stealth so you can catch people off guard and get first hit.
Also, when you are in stealth you can summon phantams without de-stealthing.
Also, I don’t know if I mentioned it above, but if you aren’t swapping weapons every 8 seconds you aren’t taking full advantage of perma 3 phantasms and easy AI kills.
For example: If a thief jumps you. Just [Blurred Frenzy] to survive the initial burst. Summon swordsman, (if you are fighting a full zerker thief you will take them to 50% hp with these two moves), then swap and push them away and summon [Phantasmal Zerker]. By then the thief should be dead or Auto-attack will down them.
What exactly is the strategy with these builds? How do you deal with conditions?
And is this for hotjoin?
This is for anything.
Basic strategy with any phantasm build is to stealth, summon phantasms, and kite.
Yo its Yunosee from Ebay.
I’ve decided to post this build that I came up with for PVP…
Not sure if it exists already but here it is:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fhAQNAR8cnsISZa2oGuqBzaGJ1QO7zokdQgS+5EA"
Domination: 5 points here and trait III/X – If you are gonna use phantasm and GS you need powerful illusions and main weapon buff. The uneven point for Wastrel’s punishment is in case you catch someone by surprise you get 5% extra damage.
Dualing: 4 points here and trait II/IV – Once again buffing phantasms and buffing sword.
Inspiration: 5 points here and trait IV/V – This one is for clearing conditions and buffing phantasm HP. Uneven point here buffs phantasm even more.

A slightly different build can be found http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fhAQNAR8cnsISZa2oGuqBzaIJ1QODK/umsDCUyPnA
It puts 4 points into Illusions and 1 in Inspiration, and trait III/X.
The difference here is Phantasmal Haste.
