I have met all the requirements to unlock the achievement but its still locked is there something im missing?
So I got my Rev to 80 and unlocked Invocation however my Mistward Leggings achievement is still locked how am i suppose to open it?
Seems like the other armors got a bit more love in design compared to the light armor the only thing it received were spikes while the others go through an actual transformation.
Im sad the way the light Legendary armor turned out, it seems like the only one that doesn’t really do much of a transformation compared to the others but I guess thats not surprising.
I like to look at raiding from a different lens. There are posts pretty frequently about “can I raid on X”, and its usually a build that doesn’t fill a role that the current raids are looking for.
Wanting to raid has nothing to do with your characters, your gear, your playstyle, etc…its about the raid content. If you want to do that raid content, then none of those others things matter.
If you have to say “I want to raid IF <insert class/build/spec/reason here>”, then you really don’t want to.
If you phrase the argument in that manner, then these posts about specific builds are really more about time investment and research. More along the lines of “am I building my character in the right way so I can get into raids?”, NOT, “I’ve already built my character this way, will I be accepted?”
This doesn’t mean balance isn’t important, of course it is. What it means is that the desire to complete the raiding content shouldn’t hinge on balance. Either you want to raid and you’ll do your homework/research and build a character that will help you achieve that goal, or you want to raid conditionally and you may see resistance.
That wasn’t necessarily my question and more so if it would be excepted. Not its this or nothing at all.
it’s a shame really, I always felt the dungeons provided another set of lore to the world were Fractals to me just really explain anything and is just there to be there but this also just IMO.

Yea I’m hoping that we would receive a neat dungeon a long the lines of a raids but more accessible with group of 5 people rather then 10 people. IMO it would seem the new areas could offer more story like dungeons once those places become available.
Are there any active WvW servers anymore I feel like every time I jump my server is always empty to play on but PvE and PvP is always booming
Realistically, you will have an EXTREMELY hard time getting into any raid groups as a pure dps mesmer – especially in pugs.
The nature of the content and how they have chosen to do raids has pretty much invalidated many builds (even some very popular ones) – and some professions pretty much outright – in that content, a direction strengthened and made worse by many in the community..
I feel like that is mostly what it has come down to and unless I play the way I’m told to build wise verse I guess the original idea of freedom of choice in build I’m not gonna get very far.
I enjoyed the dungeons provided in the game, but I seem to be the minority in that train of thought and wondering if we are every going to see new dungeons introduced in the future on expansions or are Fractals and Raids the only thing in the future?
New to raiding main is Mes but i don’t have tanking gear and more dps gear (ferocity and such) have heard some horror stories about pugging in groups. Would I need to go tank just to play or give up even attempting to raids?
The problem is in your question Raids demand flexibility and the ability to adapt to new team comps on the fly. If you only play one class but don’t want to tank, that’s fine, but you need to have the flexibility to swap to another class more suited to a dps role.. You can raid on Mesmer but you will be required to run boon duration gear and provide your team with quickness and alacrity. Giving up the idea of raids is not the solution, gearing other toons for more flexibility is.
So in the chances I’m not really fond of the other classes then this would kind of put me in a tough spot on the flexibility issue, unless I start working on getting some tanking gear. sigh
getting full exotics is super easy….

Funny enough I actually made and a guild geared towards this specifically but I’m the only member I didn’t think people were into this as most are only Sylvari
Just always wondered why they have these big events for these 3 particular dragons but not one for Prim….. i think something like that would be a great addition to this whole Living World they have going on…. from a lot of the other posts i have read a lot of people seem to be forgetting about Prim only because there is nothing really major to represent him.
And how many of his creatures do we even see out in the world?
What about the jungle dragon and bubbles? Not a single creature as far as we know.
Prim is underground, why would he keep sending up champions to the surface when he is happy down in the caves?
No reason really its just that they are the 4 main Elders that are talked about I’m in no way negating the significance of the other 2…..there just doesnt seem to be enough lore about them and since the 3 main champions are linked to the 3 “Main” Elder dragons im just wondering why Prim hasnt or even will have a Champion of that caliber i.e. The Shatterer up and about somewhere.

I was reading some lore about the Elder Dragons and started to wonder why does Zhaitan have Tequatl the Sunless , Jormag has Claw of Jormag, and Kralkatorrik has The Shatterer but there isnt one currently for Primordus expect for the one that was killed in Eye of the North. Maybe this has been talked about before but im curious to wonder why he hasnt manifested a new Champion?
