You know about this bug that block progression. In addition it may occur when someone pick up the hammer and got disconnected.
As disconnecting happens more often these days ( you are working on that as well, right? ) it is VERY annoying.
When I meet this bug twice a day (on lvl 40 and lvl 20) it becomes VERY , VERY annoying.
So, could you remove this fractal from rotation until you manage to fix it, please.
And do your best about disconnects as well.

(Superior) Sigil of Malice doesn’t give any condition duration bonus when you die. You need to unequip and then equip weapons with the Sigil so the bonus +10% duration is back.

I was wandering why I miss 1/4 fear duration sometime. Would be nice to fix this soon.
I am going to try if it affects duration in the description as well.
I am the other party member who got error, was send to character select screen. And after I logged back there was no reward from last chest and daily fractal lvl 50 chest.
I sent in-game report as well.
As you can see from screenshot I have linked it in party-chat and whispered it but after the error there was no ascended chest.

Goal of this reply is to offer fast and easy solution for what is changed often and meanwhile complex and full option for those who want to save and share more than just a build:
What about dividing all this in:
1. Simple template. This will contain only traits + utility skills. Will be saved in simple string and shown as “Name Template”. Nice place would be another tab under dyes in H panel i.e. Tab “Simple Templates” under dyes.
There will be option to save current traits and skills in template.
Template will save both currently equipped weapon skills, but they will be only shown in preview, not loaded. i.e. doesn’t change gear.
There will be option for one click load from template.
There will be option for one click share for in-game chat.
Option for share with current gear set (see below).
One could see linked in-game Simple Template in window similar to sPvP build window. One will be able to save it.
There will be folder for string simple templates in GW2 folder. All correct string files will be shown in H “Simple Templates” tab for current character.
Templates for different from current class will be viewable in H window but not loadable.
2. Gear sets.
There will be 3 or 4 Gear set tabs. They will be exactly the same like now is Equipment tab in H. Additionally there will be “Equipment gear set 1”, “Equipment gear set 2” etc.
If we are using “Equipment gear set 1”, then by clicking H -> “Equipment gear set 2” we will see Gear set 2 and there will be one click button to equip it.
There will be option to share it in-game and save it like string file.
Once shared it will be viewable But Not loadable for other players.
There will be option to edit one of the current character Gear set according to shared gear. It will open H-> “Equipment gear set …” where all Equipment slots will be double. One reviewed from chat/link other will be current gear slot where player manually will be able to choose from his available gear.
I think this way players can easily choose from what they have even if they don’t own exactly the same Items. Meanwhile its rather simple.
Once created Gear sets will be easy to edit via their tab in Equipment or though edit option from sharing.
(btw One should be able to use same Amulet for example in all 4 gear sets)
For me 3-4 gear sets it enough for general PvE and WvW. Gear Sets should be different in sPvP.
3. “Observation Preview”.
This will be full “template”. Another separate window will open and players will be able to choose what to input in template. From: Skills; Traits; Gear Sets; Dyes; Costumes even race and body features.
Once selected the options will be viewable and all different components will be applicable one by one or by type.
For example we select Gear from someone else Observation Template. There we have option to apply gear skins to our armor. We see preview and if we have those skins unlocked we can use them right on.
Same with dyes.
This will be most complex tool for sharing and saving but most slow and difficult as well.

Crush I still think at the end it wont take gold sink out but instead will encourage some more play – therefore more “sink”.
Julie some enjoyable stuff is already moved to account bound (like endless gathering) and some will (hopefully soon) like world ranks. So I will be happy to enjoy gear moving to account bound :-D
Lambert – truly exotics are easy. However ascended/legendaries are different thing. Average player wont be able to have all gear ascended even if it is account bound. Not so many will be able to have all legendaries even if they are account bound. Depending on time spent some ppl may get close to all legendaries + all ascended gear but still, even for those player I think that change will be refreshing and encouraging.
Still wandering are there any major reasons not to do this change…

I am not sure if I get you right. The idea is to not have soul-bound at all. Instead transmuting, equipping, applying skin or rune on any item will make it account-bound therefore accessible for all your characters who can use it.

Truly same logic about endless harvest sickle etc. about making ranks in wvw account-bound and fractal level access on further scale.
It may seems so, but I disagree.
I think they are even or account-bound sinks more because of the more opportunities it opens.
As I said its the same if we make 3 sets for one character (main) or 3 sets for 2 characters (main + other same type).
But I may be tempted to make some more if all my characters of same type can use them.
Account bound – Can it really be made to be fun ?
I would like to show you why changing every equipment from soul-bound to account-bound can be:
Fun.
Inspiring.
Making the game more appealing, increasing game diversity.
…maybe a bit scary.
Fun – the main aim of Arenanet and us – the players.
Wouldn’t it be fun to use the same Sunrise on your guardian, warrior, mesmer and ranger?
Or maybe you think this will result in not having anything to do in game?
Personally, the particle effects and animations of the legendary weapons are the main reasons to make one in the first place. Being able to use this weapon with different classes will inspire me to try new strategies and combinations.
Someone said – why stop on different classes? Why not same class and different race!
This way people can actually spot and enjoy the differences between the animation of the same legendary on different race. For example: Twilight scales in size on asura and char – some people will find this to be fun to experiment with.
Changing soul bound items to account bound will also solve some of the issues we have, such as:
fractal level is account wide and agony resistance is soul bound. This prevents us from playing different characters (classes) on higher level of fractals – or at least makes it very expensive to gear-up a second character with ascended weapons and armors, just so you can play fractals.
This is even worse if someone buys a higher agony resist. It seems unlikely to buy +12 Agony infusion (150 gold) for every character and every piece of equipment.
I asked some friends, what do they think about this idea.
One mentioned: “For me gearing-up a new character is the fun part of the game. After I level it up to 80 and buy him the gear, I lose some of the interest of the game. If I am able to just transfer my equipment from my main to my alt character, this will just be easier… and I will lose interest faster”
Making ascended and legendary weapons and armors takes a lot of time and effort. Does it take less effort to make 3 heavy ascended sets for 2 characters than making 3 sets for only one character?
I think this is an advantage. For example – I don’t have a guardian and I don’t want to make one. But if everything is account bound, I would like to make a char guardian just so I can see my legendary appear HUGE. I can even consider making the legendary hammer just so I can see people flying around from my skill 4.
If I have a lot of spare time and resources – I am making every ascended weapon, since I can use them with every class. Currently I am making ascended weapons only for my main. Where my alts are enjoying normal exotic gear. This forces me, in a way, to distinguish my main from my alts, instead of having lots of “mains” (I believe the majority of players are doing the same).
If I have even more resources – I can consider making some legendaries instead of ascended.
