PVP Rewards?

in PvP

You choose a reward “Track” from those available to you, and as you progress along it you get rewards based on the track. This will often include things like gear/skins, as well as other loot associated with the track’s theme.

Some tracks are unlocked all the time, others only during parts of the year, and a few more (dungeons) can be unlocked for good by clearing the dungeon story mode. Some regional ones are unlocked by clearing other regional ones.

Awesome thanks for the answer, this was very helpful.

PVP Rewards?

in PvP

Ok I have not really done much PVP in this game. Finally getting my head around how it all works. Anyway my question is (I know a bit lame) but what are the rewards? I am used to WOW PVP were I would work towards new items to make me better in PVP. I know that PVP in GW2 is a level playing field and equipment is the same for all. But I like to work towards a goal while playing.

So what are the rewards? Skins? Fame? Something else?

Thanks in advance.

So I found this thread on MMORPG.com

http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/382466/page/1

Now like him I love this game but the more I have been playing I am feeling about the same as he and others in the thread are feeling.

For me it started after I leveled my warrior to lvl 80 and then started on some alts. The thing that really hit me was that my lvl 80 warrior feels just like my lvl 35 Guardian. What I mean is I can go anywhere on my Warrior and in the lower level zones it feels the same as playing my Guardian. There just is no sense of feeling more powerful. I know I have more skills and better gear but it just does not seem to be enough.

So whats the point really?

I know some may say that well maybe this is not for you. That is fine. But I think most games give you a great sense of accomplishment when you are a higher level. This is the first time where it feels like it really just does not matter. level 35 or 80 no difference in the game.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?

Thanks

Why Pets?

Why is it that there is no class that is a just a ranger? No pets. It seems to me like most games seem to have all ranger/hunter classes have a pet. Is there a game out there that has the class with no pets?

I love the idea of a ranged bow wielding class. They are usually the first class I go to when starting a new game. But man I am sick of pets.

I know people probably always kitten about this and I know this probably is not the right place to ask this. But is there a game out there with what I want?

Shoulder armor

in Norn

So this may be a silly question. I have a norn warrior at level 28 and every piece of shoulder armor I get is only on one shoulder. Will I ever be able to have it show on both shoulders?

Also when would I be able to use bear form.

Thanks

I would like to decide between Norn and Human warrior. What are some of the advantages of both? It seems that the norn just look cooler in the armor. How much do racials play into it?
Thanks for the help
