I really like the heritage medium armor but I never played gw1.
I would like to know how much points I would need to get the jerkin alone
How much $ will it cost me?
How much time will it cost me?
What will I need to buy?

I’ve looked for dozens of threads on this but the info is blurry and confusing

In this build I use Carrion gears + Undead runes.
This build has high mobility with many evades.
You are dancing around your target.
Pets with chill helps a lot.
I have managed 2v1 before. (Not commonly but it comes)

I know this build isn’t perfect so I would love some input

EDIT: I have been thinking about using Rabid instead of Carrion for a Condi/Power build but I think Condi/Power is the way to go

I am a returning player with:
2100 AP
3 capped characters (Ranger, Warrior, and Elementalist)

I am homed in the Blackgate server. I like to joke around and do lots of activities. I’m currently learning how to better myself in PvP and like to do lots of WvW. I enjoy participating in PvE and working on leveling Thief and Engineer.

I loves Thieves, never got to em, but I love em. I have an 80 Ranger and 80 Warrior but don’t have much success on them, plus I don’t like they’re playstyle.

I quit and now I’m back and I want to roll a thief. I need a refresher on tips and the basics before I jump in, I want to play heavy wvw. I’m also clueless on the latest patches.

I really do like d/d, I find it splendid. But people have told me d/p is much more viable and really don’t care =/. I’ve seen it played, my friend even let me play on his d/p thief, I handled a Guardian and a Mesmer. I killed the Guardian but I could never kill the Mesmer because the Guardian would always come back. I didn’t like it, it felt cheap and dependant on Black Powder and Heartseeker, I don’t like that.

Are d/d builds still viable? Can someone show me a d/d and shortbow build with Zerker and possibly Valk? (Planning to handle PvX situations) I love burst and not one for conditions (explains why Ranger never worked out). If someone can show me a build I’d love to adjust it (respectfully) to my playstyle. Thanks!

Can someone give me a guide to all crafting professions 1-400 (items required and what to make and etc)? I’ve made a 80 ranger and 80 warr and currently working on 59 engy, I really want a capped thief and guard but I do not have the time or motive to lvl another one through that stuff again, I really don’t want to be flamed for this I just wanted to ask. I can’t find the up to date ones and etc.

I use to play a lot and reached lvl 80 ranger. I’m back and I want to play a wvwvw dedicated thief, but I honestly have no idea what I’m doing, can someone shed some light on me?
I want to play a thief that can roam solo or in small groups, taking 1 or 2 at a time.
I need help on the basics again and a refresher on everything with pvp.
I’m tired of being clueless as I fight I need lessons or something q.q
Treat me as if I know nothing, which is basically true.
I really like the playstyle of dd and shortbow.

Oh I know the trick still works, I just did the hood thing today to a fine mask and then transmuted it to my Exotic Shiro’s mask.

But if I transmute it for the skin, not the stats, will it work? Because it may still say you need to be in the order

Can I transmute this hood to my ranger like I can do with the Anonymity Hood? I don’t see why not but I don’t wanna buy it if it wont work. I had no idea I had to be part of the Order of Whispers to get this hood and I was really bummed out so if it can work I would like to:

Have my thief buy it, transmute it to a mask
Then store it in bank
And take it out with my ranger. Will this work?
I did this for the Anonymity hood too.

I really like the Thief gameplay, but I don’t know how to play one.

I have a Lvl.2 Sylvari Thief ready to be continued but I need tips on how to play him.

I want to be like Yishis, a Thief player who can fight multiple people at once and win.

I’m willing to put in the practice I just need to know how.

I want to do the D/D build and I need to know how to use tactics, skills, utilities, etc.

When should I use my camouflage and how should I manage Initiative?

Basically I know nothing about Thiefs but I love the gameplay.

My main is a Lvl. 42 Ranger so I’m still adjusting to the game, thanks!

I have no idea what I want to be race wise, and profession wise.

Races I like: Human, Asura, and Sylvari.

For profession:

I like high burst dmg.

Range is cool, but I am also ok with melee.

Survivability is an interest.

I like looking cool, or some reason I fight better when I like my character.

I am very new, I tried PvP and was totally confused.
