hey yeah u said everything my mains is mesmer so i know how to counter them but as a mesmer i also know its really difficult against thieves S/D to much dodge and random dodge… so make a good shatter on them its hard… You need to put them down with one single burst if u are playin shatter or that will be difficult for you

but i didnt win against her like i said as mesmer shatter u can’t kill a S/D thief if that guy playin that thief well…to much dodge and randon dodge to get a good burst on him…we made arround 3fights but shadow refuge…and its over ! to much dmg and can leave and inc so fast…kittenter its difficult so i think we should play PU or phantasm build to counter that build . its not impossible but just really difficult even i can down arround 20%life …“shadow refuge” and she can back full life.. lol

Fighting thieves as a shatter mes in general, at least for me, is finding the right moment to hit F3 and then burst as fast as possible. Which can be quite frustrating against thieves.

S/D: Slippery as kitten. Pay attention on their infiltrators strike, and push the fight to their return point if possible. This way you’ll negate their (one of their) get-out-of-jail card. What weapon sets are you playing? A well placed immob/stun can end the fight pretty fast in your favour. Don’t let them take the lead, play aggressively. Personally, I prefer GS/S+X builds against this type of thieves (torch saved my butt so many times in WvW), but I can see how a well placed Chaos Storm might also work its magic.

As for P/D thieves;

The video is nicely done, and there are some really nice fights in there. I can see what Sandrox is stating, with some being ganks and the whole running before taking out a lone straggler, however it’s still a good video.

Xiao my advice to you is maybe before posting a video to the forums you decide if you can handle people critiquing it, because based on your replies on this thread I don’t think you are. It’s not like you’re the best players in the game, so don’t act like you’re above being criticized.

i played "Blackwater when i started play my mesmer..because its easy and with no honor ^^ but it was just so bored T_T ! even in condition build sometime u feel to slow i mean u should switch use ur skill more often Use ur staff alot in condition build because auto attack is just so strong lol !

I noticed you used staff in a couple of fights but if I recall well you are always with sword/torch, even in previous videos. Are you switching or was it a temporary change?

yeah i am tryin to use my staff because staff is very important on fight and powerful so i wanted to use it with a switch GS , as u know i am playing sword/torch usually

when i took my staff i bring null field with it because one more chaos armor et full debuf for my ennemy , staff + null field : love it without staff i prefer use Arcane thievery , love fight warrior with this xD ty for ur elite ^^
