Ok bear with me as i try to explain my idea
Lets say each server has a cap of 100 per battleground.
Why not have it where your in que on each server til 10 people on each server que then those 10 get in.
If one server stops queing since they dont have the people to field then the other servers are stuck at that number also.
now lets say we are stuck at 60 people cause one server isnt queing anymore you might still get in if/when someone who is already in decides to leave.
Its kind of a forces balance and hurts over populated servers, but in the long run i think it would help even out the server populations. Plus it inderectly addresses the off peak time coverage imbalances.
I dont like the idea of more restrictive ques but I do like the idea of an even fight all the time. The only time i think an uneven fight would happen would be if one server gives up and leaves while the other servers both keep fighting. In that situation the server that gave up woul not have a que at all til they reached the cap the other servers were at.
The rewards included in season 1 achievements should help to address this. Very specifically the ascended crafting materials. It is also the case, that we want people playing all the parts of the game, so there are always going to be optimal ways to get specific rewards and those may not always include WvW. We are building the whole of GW2 and we try and balance things across all the game types.
We will continue to make strides, however, to make WvW feel more rewarding, especially in this type of area.
I’m curious if you can name one thing achievable in WvWvW that isn’t faster and more abundant in PvE?

Badge of Honor?Because you totally cannot get thousands of Badges of Honor for Achievement Points, right?
I never noticed getting badges from pvE achievements, But still its probably easier and faster to get badges from wvw then from PvE

well my half my guild talked about transfering and the other half was dead set against it end resuld my guild disintigrated and everyone when seperate ways. Go Go league transfers!!!!
Bigger maps.
No using siege from one keep to take another aka SM trebs.
I think it would be really cool to let guilds design thier own keeps for when they claim, would add some much needed diversity to towers and even SM.
Probably couldnt change the garisons in borderlands but i think a personalized water keep or hills would be awesome. also adding moats and drawbridges would be an interesting change.
If they make much bigger maps then adding mounts might be kind of cool also.
I know everyone hates pve in thier WvW but having say a captured dragon helping defend a guild keep or maybe some skritt guards. you could make it an epic rare drop off of some of the world bosses (tequatl’s egg, or an altar to balthazar that can be used to summon his avatar)
Ooh how about changing the guards to be clones of offline guild members with thier traits and gear and setup.
I dunno there are lots of things that could be added if the hardware and programming allow it.

•Runes/Sigils are also something the balance team wants to improve. We’d like to see cooler effects on some of the sets, so we’ll be working towards that. They also lead to a lot of build diversity, so we want more sets to be stronger so that it gives you guys more options in your builds.

These runes alone have “created builds” at least for wvw.
Bigger maps,
no waypoints
remove downstate in wvw
No transfers
after your dead only map view
Make it so you can hit people from on top of walls but they cant hit you.
remove being able to hit through doors
change bloodlust bonus to magic find and gold find unless you have outmanned buff.
make each borderland map different (15 different maps changed randomly at reset)
Do away with yaks and have a supply drop npc.
change the capture circle of towers and keeps to be anywhere inside keep.
do away with stealth it only encourages blobs.
Make the outmanned buff remove the cap on AoE.

My wife wants to play again but we cant remember her password and the reset password requires her serial code which we dont have anymore cause it was just an email and has been lost do to hard drive crash.
We cant seem to find any way to contact support via phone or chat and the one email we got was week later saying thanks how was our support?
So i like the new finishers in the gem store. Are there any plans for other WvW items coming soon? I was thinking some new skins for siege might be cool. Also maybe some guild enhancements like cooler looking npcs when a guild claimes a keep or something like that. Any one else have some ideas for gem store stuff for WvW or sPvP?
