Sorry to hear about your friend getting hacked, but there is a waiting period and here is what the sticky says

Yeah it sucks, I know same thing is happening to me which is why I decided just to wait the 5 days and then make my ticket request post like the sticky says. Hopefully they can block the account for you.

Hopefully get some sort of status update soon, not holding my breath tho. Hopefully the people that have been waiting longer then me get there’s done sooner! GaileGray I feel bad for the Customer Service team gotta be a lot of work with all these tickets.
Pretty much the same, if by the end of the 5th day I have no response I am just gonna end up doing a chargeback, didn’t wanna take it this far but I guess it needs to be done.
North american servers are all located in Texas, as far as I am aware. No clue about Europe tho.

Account Restorations are not available yet but should be available pretty soon. Do keep in mind that the entire account is “rolled-back” so any progress made while you wait or until the service is complete will be lost. I like people to know this so they realize the way the system works.”

If your guild wars 1 account is linked to your guild wars 2 account try going to the NCsoft website and getting your account back through there, makes things a whole lot easier if you’re able to do it that way.
I know you are eager for assistance. Your ticket is on the review list. But if you continue to “bump” your threads, you’re going to end up with an infraction and I’m sure that’s not what you want.

So they changed the title of the thread but are unable to post a reply? I understand there is a lot of people in need of help right now but I kinda find that quite rude anyways, just venting some more of my great patience I have.

I am just worried my patience is gonna get the best of me, I have been tempted to do a chargeback and just buy another copy of the game after reading a lot of the people have like yourself 10+ days of waiting.
Definitely don’t want to go with this option but not gonna wait that long when I could just start playing again sooner rather then later.
My f5 key looks to be starting to fade spamming refresh on these forums the ticket page and my email for along time.

Just tried using the serial code on NCsoft master account and it just says its invalid so I would have to assume its just guild wars 1
Haha, would have definitely have tried that if I had guild wars 1, had another friend suggest that too but again only works if you have guild wars 1 account. Thanks for the tip tho, appreciate it!
Passion I am fairly worried about the same issue, the day I got hacked my friends said he transferred my 80 guardian full exotics to a french server went to lions arch then put himself on invisible so nobody could actually find him, I really hope the character doesn’t get deleted but if it does its time to put in another 200+ hours of gameplay in.
First ticket was put in 09/08/2012 at 12:39 AM Central, closed that ticket and reprioritized ticket at 09/08/2012 02:57 PM and closed the first ticket

Posting on my friends account due to not being able to post on my own for obvious reasons, I was told by some guild mates that the wait was around 72 hours to get a reply and from looking at a lot of the threads and posts here it looks like it could be a lot longer.
I am just scared to get online and see that my 200+ hours of work is gone, and hopefully that’s not the case, anyways just looking for a reply other then the automated one that didn’t help me at all.
Friend said “He don’t mind waiting that’s not the problem, mainly because I was way above most players gear wise, I am just worried my character and all the gear I worked hard for is gonna be gone when I do get my account back.”
Hes part of Team Legacy and missed 2 of the most important nights in world vs world because of a hacked account, I think hes trying to keep positive because of the chance everything he worked 200+ hours for so far could possible be gone.

Well, that sucks for him then lol like I said he already had over 200 hours on hes guardian and was 2 or 3 items short of full exotics.
So I was reading a bunch of threads / posts on this forum and came across someone who had there account restored without any gold or items on there character, he asked if it would be possible to get any of it back.
And the response was from GaileGray "I think you’re not understanding what happened. Access was returned to you, you were reinstated, but actual account restoration is not possible at the present time.
I suggest that you improve your account security and resume playing, but if you want to wait for the restoration service to be put in place you can do so. I do not have a timeframe for that program’s start date."
So I recently had a friend get hacked and was wondering if they delete he’s character that he already had over 200+ hours on there would be no way of getting it back? or even if they just left the character with absolutely no gold or gear?
