Constant lag spikes for about a month now.

Seeing high ping again @ 8 P.M. EST (-5 GMT).

This has been going on for weeks now – NCSOFT/ArenaNet ISP’s are having this much trouble with DDoS attacks?

The PvP ascended armor set has sinister. Also viper if you own HoT.

Well, if you do not even have the time to play a meta on a HoT map, some LS3 content or WvW/PvP aka one hour on the piece at any day, you should maybe consider a different kind of game than a MMORPG.

Except for that, yeah, sinister is the next best thing for condi damage builds.

This game offers the ENGINEER class, quite unlike any game I’ve played with the exception of maybe Half-Life? It keeps me coming back for more.

I usually do a combination of unranked PvP, and map events an hour or two a day, which is why I was thinking karma gear?

I don’t have time to HoT/raid or viper/sinister craft, probably just stick to mainland Tyria, easy mode karma gear maybe?

Multiple DC’s in the past hour, lots of folks in Gendarran Fields running champs with me, also getting intermittently DC.

Confirmed. Cannot team PvP with my necro buddy.

I use fire bombs a lot with flamethrower, and sometimes both fire bomb and big ol’ never detonate.

Also, I’m one of the weirdos who happens to like underwater combat. The fire bomb no longer explodes and impacts around you, but rather the explosion gets ‘pushed’ to the sea floor.

What? You’re kidding, right?

As for your connectivity issue, I would recommend running a Ping Plotter test to see where the disconnects are happening on the way to our server. This program is not supported by NCsoft or ArenaNet. You can find the program and information on how to use it at http://www.pingplotter.com/download.html.

Logged in again this morning, and it literally seems like the whole Internet is a mess. :-)

Really horrible tracert’s with a few hops timing out, and bad bad lag spikes in the game — 3-4 seconds for button actions to execute, etc.

Hi all. Massachusetts here. Huge lag spikes, disconnecting me about every 10 minutes for about an hour’s play. I give up. Brutal lag spikes for the past two days.
