Having the same problem, also still stuck.

I have it with my offhand weapons on my Charr Thief, I have identical daggers and pistols but the offhand one is always smaller… I tried looking at it quickly on another potential dual wielding class (human warrior), and it didn’t happen there. Seems it’s a Charr thing only then.

All fun and games until one of your elistist guild members told me off for bringing my midbie mes to the group to level with you. That hurt and pretty much tarnished my view of the guild as a whole. I get that you’re trying to run as a whole and didn’t want to deal with the whole constant rezzing thing but tell that guildie to not say stuff like that. I have as much right to level an alt with your group as does a person who has only bought the game has to level his first char.

Granted, someone -did- say to ignore him and to run with you guys anyways…but I went off and leveled with the other commander who appeared on the map. So :/

Edit @ Verbis: Yes you can. It’s dead useful to skip to other maps without having to either hit B or wp all the way back to your BL and use the gates.

Our own guildies arent allowed to bring underlevelled characters so why should we welcome non guildies to do this? We have let many non [PRXM] players join our chat and run with if they bring a tanky 80. If you want to run alongside us you can obey our rules. Im sure that [SOE] and [FURY] would have given you the same.

Then that should’ve been made clear in the first place rather than a random “Oy! You! Get out of our group!” Less hurt feelings. I’ll remember that next time.

Sorry for commenting in a thread that does not apply to my server, but why would you discuss something like this on as public a level as it can pretty much get? PRXM are your servermates so why not just drop a message on your server forums or even just talk to them ingame about your issues? What’s the point in stating your “tarnished view” of the guild right here? I see no other purpose than to slander the guild in your derriere-hurt (friggin kitten censorship) over what a single person said. Someone even told you to ignore what that one person said to you and you admitted it, yet you’re still here..

I guess the server caps were raised recently, many servers are classed as medium like Vabbi and FoW are. Errrugh.

The offer still stands. Just give me a whisper and I’ll fight you if I’m available, I actually encourage 1v1 fighting.

Any player that is still on FoW or Vabbi right now can be commended for his spirit and at the same time cannot be condemned for wanting to see something else after having that sort of situation for so long really :d

Well yeah, this current matchup is so boring it wouldn’t surprise me that many players in fact DO mob you because any enemy is better than none for most. Usually it isn’t like this and we actually have to do our best to stay in the fight. And while I can’t speak for all of the server, I know that I’m not the only one that prefers roaming rather than zerging

Being one of the less populous servers of our rating, the solo roaming is good, in fact when you encountered 4 of my guildmates that was actually a rare thing. The usual wvw regulars of my guild are solo roamers like myself. And we’re not the only satisfied solo roamers there are here I suppose. I wouldn’t know how much greener the grass is here since I’ve only been here.. but yeah :d

I got outplayed! Four+ in one guild vs just me? The answer was to rush me from two different sides clearly.
I’d like to thank everyone who constantly add into already uneven fights also.

I’m not complaining really, it just gets old. Even more with how people go on and on about being bored.

PS. Just yesterday I found myself in a 1v3 against FoW.. it is WvW after all, you can’t expect not to be jumped by more than one person if you run alone. I know you said you aren’t complaining but what’s the point of your post then? Oh and the difference yesterday was that I had the luck to face baddies as they all died.. <:

Well, seems they’ll have the new matchups ready after all. GH and DZ, thank you for all the matchups. After so much blood, sweat and qqtears from all of us, it feels like having to part with something very familiar! And I can’t deny I had fun for the most part of it, thank you all and good luck with whomever you face.

edit: I was going to find some time next week to come up with a techno backing track just for you guys; should be easier than writing a rock song.. but oh well the imagination will have to do

Hi everyone, every server (mine included GH)

Must start by saying i’m ashamed of us all.
What’s with all this badmouthing. We’re playing a game, 3 servers…3 get it…1 will always say that the 2 others are having an alliance.

I play a Ranger for GH… i Zerg, i group and i roam the land. I get wiped sooooooo many times…..But i HAVE fun and i learn from my mistakes…….Now i have a better ranger and do about 50/50….but i still have fun…..

We have played several servers…we win some (We’re the best of the best^^) then we loose some (and the whole world is against us).

This is the learning curve for everyone……Learn by doing….AND most importently you will get wins and losses. Remember that the ppl you mock on the way up, are the same you meet on your way down..

I have also in frustration jumped on a kill (i’m ashamed) so i dont get upset if someone does it on me…He/She may have lost 10 in a row and finaly gotten a win…

I hope we can all have fun together (sadly thats to much to ask for..i know) but do try.
I would rather come here week after week to see good words.. Try to ask for advise if youre loosing all the time…..try to help the ones asking…

And i do love the good fight i have with everyone.

I don’t mind losing tbh, it’s just the way people are about it. Honestly it’s hard to differ pride from spite here. Besides any pride Surmia has shown in being able to win all the other matchups not only because of new numbers but also due to internal improvement (despite being stomped by GH months ago), generally gets discarded and credited to either:

A: Blobbing
B: PvD
C: Transfers carrying
D: Alliances
E: Night/morning capping

Or:
F: More than one to all of the above

You don’t see me giving myself pats on the back, or even feeling justified for doing so.

It’s funny how people completely ignore their own PVD. The reason you were ahead before we did our all nighter was the huge tick you had everyday that FRS and co gave you. Every evening we ticked highest at primetime despite having a large Dzag force in our bl every day. We were 5k behind when the crashes started. That stretched to 7k during the day and that’s when we hit you hard Thursday eve/night. We had one night of PvD compared to you having 7 days of it and yet we are the ones with bloated egos?

Some of these posts remind me of the RoS tears last week. 2v1 is natural consequence of 3way battles and will only get worse with random matchup disparities. GH as deserved winners last week (suck it up Ilyest and your fellow RoS crybabies) should get more focus this week.

This matchup is irrelevant now as tiers are no longer going to be of consequence, when it’s Gandara and Drakkar Lake in the same matchup a 2v1 at this level will look way easier, lol.

Ilesyt* hasn’t been online for weeks and it’s not that you deserved the win is why you get focused, but because you THINK you deserved it. It’s people like you; that get their bloated egos inflated even more after 1 night of PvD to score a10-15k-ish point lead, that are the reason both servers have it out for yours. Only a select few individuals on your server deserved that win, too bad people like you bring your server down (of which I still like a lot of people; you can steamroll me anytime Aisi <3) because everyone thinks they’re all like you.
Either way ticking +500 isn’t hard when there’s only 4 people defending at the end cause the rest logged off after crashing every half minute for a ton of times. For all the claims that you guys like fights over PvD, that “win” was all PvD. Hell, we ticked +500 when there was no crashing bug (where I chose to walk into Overlook btw, which is DZ’s as far as I know @ the alliance claimer). Props to the few DZ defenders of veloka there btw.

Maybe this matchup is of no consequence to further matchups anymore; but it is more relevant than last week’s buggy matchup, in regards to being an actual match. Because either way you look at it you didn’t “win” over Surmia last week, you won over doors. I know this is hard to believe since you’re the guy that sees us as t8 material at best; if we’re t8 at best then what does that make you? Because in prime time all 3 servers are more or less equal :P

PS. our corner in EB is turning red while we were getting pushed by blue on SM and in our BL. Teamwork anyone?

Thx FURY/LFD for the duels and before that; the general appreciation for solo fights to let people fight alone if they’re doing a 1v1 randomly in the field

First time in ages we have this good match, and now it’s ruined because of the crashes. I’m glad the matchup stays the same next week :P

Atleast you could say getting doubleteamed is how this game is designed anyway… we get doubleteamed too. But all these crashes are not meant to be part of the game obviously..

They’re just not as severe for you guys.. Our commander in RoS BL crashes after (and sometimes even without being able to) taking a camp. A bloody CAMP. And right now we got a GH train in our BL taking full advantage of our kittened up defenses. Besides, regardless of whom this affects more, we can be sure of one thing: it affects all of us and the gameplay. With that you can no longer say this situation is fair and that whatever is happening now is how it would have gone if it were fair. If it only were as simple as “oh you guys dc, we dc; it’s all fair game”. Alas there are more factors to it and I know you are smart enough to know this.

4 times while taking 3 keeps? You lucky man. Try 4 times in 4 mins. Combine that with having to walk a long distance and the amount of force (read: golems) you put into the assault and.. boom!

it happens on other servers too, seems to be a game issue that we haven’t heard a single thing about even though there’s been reports since almost 48 hours ago

Jokes aside I admire the fight you guys have been putting up over the last days, but this crash issue that renders us unable to defend makes it all rather one-sided at the moment. It’s rather annoying, believe it or not :d But none of the servers are at fault for this, anet is. I’m just gonna keep bumping the unanswered bug reports that have been there for a while now..

And another bump, right now half of our waypoints are unusable, how long can it go on like this?

Hi there, I keep getting crashes when I enter Eternal Battlegrounds.. at first it was after a while, but now it is as soon as I enter EBg. I know I haven’t been the only one with this issue tonight too.

Right, can everyone do me a favor? Get out your dictionaries, look up the page with the word “alliance” ..and rip that page out. Done it? Good. Now that we don’t have the word “alliance” in our dictionaries anymore, can we please stop talking about it?

Didn’t bother reading most posts as it is no doubt filled with the same yes/no crap that litters the thief forums. All I wanted to say in regards to the OP is that the true skill, planning and counterplay is in knowing how the thief will position, how long his stealth will (potentially) last and thus positioning yourself such that he’ll go out of stealth before he can land a hit on you; thereby wasting his stealth. I can say that as a thief I have little problem with other thieves landing the backstab on me since I know how it works. Just evading a stealthed backstab is no achievement really.. but avoiding the backstab till stealth wears off is. And you have a reward for that: an unstealthed thief.

Did you not expect thieves to discuss the way this trap affects them? ’Cause aside from the main purpose you so dubiously derived from this trap; 30 seconds of revealed is A LOT for a thief. Either way you look at it.

You seem bitter towards thieves.. it’s okay we don’t mind, you’re not the first and not the last; thieves will still love you enough to want to stick their daggers up your derriere.
As for me I have faith the trap won’t be as bad as it sounds for the most of us, if it does it doesn’t matter as I’ve become quite stoic towards all the nerfs really.

Same on RoF Bay.. they just broke inner after a long siege with about 5 defenders and poof! :P

Gina arrived around the time we reached the inner, just not too much support for him. I think there was around ~10 inside and a few ballista’s when we broke.

When I came walking in when you guys broke the inner there were only 3 already inside. After me only a few others came occasionally dripping in 1 by 1, but of course they came too late and very easy to pick off if we had all been inside hills from the start or at least from the inner siege we could’ve given you a proper fight instead of becoming instant loot bags :P We failed in communication and scouting there big time :d
