This is why we can’t have nice things. As for developers, do you really have to ask? To everyone else, you are being 100 percent truly selfish if you do not include both the ranger and the elementalist. This isn’t even bias, this is clear knowledge that they are in need of serious help. Every other class in the game has at least one Facebook build.
I’d also like to point out that you guys should learn to read. The developer asks which classes need help. For those of you posting thief, necro, or warrior, should simply refrain from ever posting in these boards.

if I had a choice for 4, it would be thief who also offer almost nothing to a wvw team environment
If u guys want true balance, (which is what u say all the time), then u should make every class able to make a build suitable to each ‘environment’ in the game.
Tanky, Dps, Support, Roamer, Group Play etc.. while keeping them unique classes at the same time. No small feat I know, but would promote more people trying all classes, cough cough buying more Character Slots cough cough, Instant Trait Reset cough cough etc.
Some people prefer certain play styles & are never going to make an engineer, or mesmer etc… bcs of that.
Just sayin… moar money & peeps for gw2

Are we listing classes that need Balancing or Development Time?
Because I think the number tweaks between classes are largely okay. But there are definitely certain classes that have clunkier gameplay, lackluster utility choices, awkward traitlines, buggy or buggy-seeming performance, etc.
Dev time!
in this case, i think people voting ele should think about their vote. eles dont need much dev time to revamp the profession and its mechanics. eles require more balancing.
If it just needs balancing that is ok too. Anything we do is dev time.
Basically, I want people to think ‘what class would I never play right now because it’s just not viable’ and list the top 3. That goes for all game types.
Apart from ranger (and even there some things work) no class is in a horrible spot.

Buff
1) Ranger (needs big time buffs. It’s trait lines make no sense, traps which are condi based are in the prec/critdmg line…)
2) Think the others are pretty well balanced…. (although everything is subpar to warrior)
Nerf (Far more important than buffing because of powercreep)
1) Warrior (see side note) (I also play a level 80 warrior for all dungeons, and in WvW/PvP sometimes, but think it is way OP)
2) Minion Master Necro in sPvP (I play this build and love it, but it is OP)
As a side note: If Warrior was nerfed to be inline with other classes in all game modes (especially pve/wvw) the other classes wouldn’t look so bad. Right now they can specialize in one area (dps, tank, cc) and still be great in the others. If they were balanced more like guards (if they go dps they are squishy as all heck, if they go tanky they deal no damage, etc.) then people would actually play other classes more. Right now there is absolutely no reason not to roll a warrior and dominate players of equal skill level as yourself.

This is very unclear. Are we talking Quality of Life issues, buffs on said classes, or some overhauls on the way things work? Since I lack this information I will provide a brief summation of what i think needs to be changed.
What is unclear? These are some of the most clear and precise instructions ever written! Here they are again. I even underlined the important part for easy understanding.
Please pick the three professions that you feel need the most help right now and list them in order of priority like so:
