I would like to call out Thedenofsin for multi-voting (check his/her message history).
This is not ok. It just makes us as a class (Mesmers) and as a community (the whole of us) look really childish. We’re supposed to give constructive input, not rig votes to try make our class look more important to the community than it is. If my class happens to be the one people take the least interest in seeing changed (either way), then so be it.
I happen to agree with that myself, I listed Rangers, Engineers and Warriors as the classes needing changes the most urgently.Anyhow, we really don’t need to try rig a vote. We should be better than that.
This game needs more people with this mentality.
What do you mean by help? In any case:

All those write ‘’1. xclass only’’ and say ‘’i dont care about the rest’’ should be ignored because clearly they only want a boost for their class only.
For those who sais Elementalist needs help might want to search around a little. Elementalists are at a pretty good spot in PvE and WvW. Not sure about spvp.
For the love of god, fix the Ranger. It has become a laughing stock of gw2.

Posting from a PvE point of view I’d say:
1. Necromancer
Necromancers currently over very little to a dungeon party. Anything that’s useful that they can do other professions can do more efficiently. Necromancers bring barely any group utility and while they may be fine for casual running they are a terrible choice for organized runs. In the current meta, Necromancers do not have place. They are the first thing that has to be fixed. Their DPS is fine, it’s their group utility that is so severely lagging behind other classes that makes them utterly useless.
2. Ranger
Myself I have no problems playing a Sword ranger, it’s not that hard but a lot of people genuinely hate it. The problem Rangers have is that their one good weapon has the annoying root. Pet survivability has never been much of a problem for me in PvE, perhaps people are just too lazy to manage their pets and then blame it on bad design, it’s sort of beyond me.
Buffing other weapon sets to be more in line with the sword (while in melee range mind you), adding a new melee weapon set and removing the root from the auto-attack would be a big improvement.
Other classes are pretty much fine with me.

This is definitely a joke. No one uses ele in pvp. Eles in wvw is literally fire field and meteor, and gets recognition in pve because of abusing one fgs skill against a walled-target?
How on earth is anet going to sift through this?

Ordered by what I think GW2 needs for improved PvE gameplay (not what I would personally prefer):
- Ranger (poor build diversity, insufficient pet controls)
- Engineer (not enough in between the no-skill builds vs the high-skilled builds)
- Warrior (in PvE, it can out DPS, out AoE, out support, and out control other profs — skill to play and tradeoffs required should be more in line with the other profs).

Basically, I want people to think ‘what class would I never play right now because it’s just not viable' and list the top 3. That goes for all game types.
