Great jumping puzzle lots of fun.

Just beat the clock tower this morning.I have been trying since it started and could never even come close.

2,5h spent to do it the first time, ’cause no one knew how to complete it yet… the 2nd time it took like 10min!

Wasn’t too bad once all the Norn and Charr fat bodies fell off and quit blocking my character.

Done it 5 times on human guardian,warrior,engineer and mesmer,sylvari ranger. No boost needed;)

Finally got it. In all, I have no clue how many tries but it took about 4 hours or so over the last few days :/

After about one hour I finally made it to the top of this cursed tower.

Edit: Maybe I should add the fact that I did it around 7 AM (GMT) on Saturday, so only three or four other people were jumping around. It’s a lot easier when you are able to see where you’re jumping to instead of burying your face in the back hair of the charr in front of you.

Asura necro, Sylvari ranger, Sylvari guardian, Sylvari Engineer, Sylvari Mesmer, Sylvari Thief, and Norn warrior. I love the jumping puzzle.

Took me about 4 hours, but in that 4 hours I managed to jump into the shattered clockface 8 times and didn’t end up in the treasure room. Figuring that the instance might be bugged, I entered a new instance and on my first attempt was able to make it.

I finished it several times now, even with challanging myself (try to use keyboard only).
I love those events!

Btw. I don’t know if someone said this already. But you can keep standing on top of the last stairs and the green poisen wont kill you. You can stay there for an infinite amount of time. And if you are there long enough you’ll be asked to leave the overflow map. Which is great, because you can run the map in solomode.

It wasn’t that hard.Did it around my 30th try.
Doing this with more then 1 norn is a pain in the butt.
I hate them.

I took just under 2 hours but I was always moving forward and only seemed to mess up with rookie errors and trying to rush. Now I can do it first try.

Because I am a very calm person I had no trouble with the rinse repeat, plus many of the people I was with made it interesting. Only a few bad eggs who left fairly quickly.

I’m Commander Sheepherd, and this is now my favorite jumping puzzle in the Citadel.

Human Guardian, no boosts.

It took a week of 1-2 hours sessions, then an 8+ hour marathon get-er-done run to get it. (I am bad, bad, bad at platformers.)

You can speed boost? Oh well I’ve done it 27 times without it, guess its not necessary.
Felt so satisfying to complete it after doing it for four hours tat now I can’t stop….

Human Thief, Sylvari Necromancer. Done several time with both, no speedbuffs involved.

I official hate all taller people in Guilf Wars after this puzzle, Especially those who try and hold massive banners & fall early on
I spent 2-3 hours doing this & close to rage quit several times

First as a sylvari warrior, no speed buffs. Took me about 5/7 hours to learn it.
Next with a human ele, with speed buff. Maybe an hour, and then I had it again.

Tried few times without any speed buff. Figured it’s not going to work..
Activated speed booster and few tries later i was on the top.
It was fun, liked the pressure of the green thing rising and the undead arms trying to get you. The not fun part was the BIG guys. Couldn’t see anything from them.
Clocktower was my favorite part of the event.

The trick was re-zoning until I found a group absent of Charr and Norn. Beat it second try after that.

I did it in a group with Charr and Norn.

I kept reading complaint that the Asuras have it tough. so I took my little lvl 10 asura necro there. I made it up in about 30 mins.

I think part of the problem is the smaller toons get distracted by not being able to see yourself and not knowing the course. I knew the course so I just had to get through the first part and I was home free.

I did find the Asura had an easier time and jumping when compared to my norn.

Great puzzle I have fun every time I do it.

I did it first on a human Ele with the trait boost.

Then on human Guardian and sylvari Thief without boosts. It’s much easier after the first time, because the stress is gone

Took me about 3 hours but i did it!!! Plz Christmas puzzle in future!

Already posted but didn’t have a screen shot so I ran it again on my main. Used speed boost on this guy but didn’t on thief and guardian honestly I noticed no difference whatsoever.

Missed the jump into the clock like 50 times.

Done with Charr warrior.
Took less than 30 minutes because guild mate gave tips.
Missed the last jump once by not jumping and waiting too long.

- Norn Necromant, Guardian, Engineer

Didn’t use any speed boosts : they are not a good idea since many jumps have the exact length to be done easily while running at normal speed. Using speed boosts would require more precise jumps and make it harder.

Completed it around 50 other times with my Silvari Ranger and my Human Mesmer (main characters atm)

I don’t really know how much times I tryed before ^^ completing the first time.

Once I completed it that first time I was able to complete it again within an hour the next day, and after that I could complete it about one in every five attempts.
