So what do yall think of these proposed changes in the context of PvE? I don’t really care much about PvP past just hopping a few matches here and there.

Probably make bosses blow up even faster since all class will be able to stat properly into DPS. My favorite 6/4/2/2 staff ele will get hit though

@Element and Iris. I just did a lv50. And got the imbued shaman XD. Much better. Still, shaman hit me after the bubble when trying to res the mates. It was quite smooth nevertheless.

Yeah that were my thoughts. Slightly higher base stats + more pickable traits (I just skimmed over it, might be wrong) would result in higher DPS, making everything even easier.

Wow, if only there was one or two games modes which he was better than you at, although he made no mention of such a thing so I can only assume he sucks at PvP/WvW too.

That’s why I said ele is being limited by choice. It’s less forgiving and people tend to go down an easy path, which is meta build. And there is no optimal outside PvE.

The new trait rework may become interesting though. We can see different variance of 6 in Air, then we have 66060 and 66600 both work. If they change Arcana in a meaningful way, any combination of xxxx6 may produce something worth considering. Arcana has never had a damage modifier; if only they could put one there and alleviate the concentration of support and defensive traits…

Guardian is going to be doing much more damage now, possibly with mace, with the whole 20% increased damage to enemies standing in symbols. On a sad note, no more unscathed contender + master of consecrations.

66006 ranger is going to be pretty baws now. Since spirits get 70% activation baseline there’s no point going to nature magic and BM line has some good pet buffs and quickness on pet swap.

fury give opening strike, means massive fury procs is insane.
guaranteed crits, vulnerabilities stacks and a trait with 25% damage on opening? i dunno sounds insane OP to me.
