“Personal Reward Level” was renamed to “Personal Fractal Level” because you don’t get real rewards any more.

WTF dungeons aren’t even worth running anymore thanks for the super nerf on dungeon rewards nerfnet. You took what little joy I had in the game out.

Weird I ran dungeons last night.

Ok, I am done with fractals. How is possible, at lv 64! that the whole group got surprized and amazed when I soloed the rector on warrior? And I can talk of bad builds, people doesn’t knowing his job etcetc…
I guess, frm Anet prespective, this is a success (new people getting into fractals), but for puggers like me…this is a nightmare.
So, inexperienced people on high level fractals + mobs scaling = I quit fractals.

After some talking, their personal level were around 30-35… So, what about “you can0t join a fractal beyond your level” rule?

There’s no rule like that.
You can’t access the lfg for those scales if you didn’t reach them yet, but yeah. That can be easily bypassed I guess.

Have the Guild Testing Raid teams already managed to force some changes to encounters already based on their feedback? Or nothing was changed so far?

I believe the question is ambiguous enough not to break the NDA.

Basically the question is: was the testers feedback already had changes in the content? Im not even asking which, since that is impossible to say.

The problem isnt that the question isnt vague enough, the problem is that guild testers aren’t allowed to identify themselves as such to answer it.

Will you/other testers be able to talk about your testing process when raids have launched?

I am really curious how much you influenced development or if you were just free QA

Just pugged final boss of hot story on hardmode. It was amazingly fun. You clearly need a good group tho.

I had the most fun in days…. organising guild missions with 6 people.

Half a year after the ban, after 3 weeks of trying anet still refuses to unban my old account. Their reply was, “no can do, but we’re ok with you playing on your alt if you want”. Guess that means it’s time to move on (but probably won’t, this abusive gf that is gw2 has too stron of a pull… sigh)

My hype for BD has risen once more.

I’m guessing it’s something similar to gw2’s specializations, where they add new weapons and skills to existing classes… less than 1 year since going open beta.

Day 1
Wants to get some tokens for a specific armor and weapons in said dungeon
Checks for available players in FLG… No life signs

Wants to get some tokens for a specific item use to create a legendary weapon
Checks for available players in FLG… No life signs

Introduced friend to said game since it is free to play
Manage to reach level 30, and wanted him to give something exciting like dungeon
Journeyed to Ascalon on foot killing as we go
Arrived at said dungeon but no players in sight
Waited on FLG for 2 hours and no signs of life

Black Desert I think.

Yes it is Black Desert. Its probably going to be super grindy. But its a huge sandbox MMO. So that shouldnt matter. Im going to treat it like a single player RPG but with the option to play online.

Talking about which… NA/EU version just went on pre-order, today. Though, I’d hold off till more is known about how the NA/EU version will shape up, specifically the “p2w” korean cash shop and the kind of pve content (not a fan of pvp).

Some games let you preorder to get beta access even though they state official release will be f2p. Dont know if thats the case for BD. But Savage 2 was like that.

afaik they went with b2p for na (and eu?) model, same as gw2.

I payed for BnS beta access and it’s really worth it imo.
The combat is really engaging and the higher level dungeons are quite challenging.
I only played Black Desert for 1 day myself, and it looked pretty casual and grindy to me, but its probably too early to judge since the game still misses basic things like voice acting

That “raid yeah boiiii” drama kitten made my whole day. It’s like 20000000 people all of a sudden appear to bash the “evil exclusives”.

I mean, don’t get me wrong it’s a disrespectful and childish move towards the community and ArenaNet but it’s also kind of childish to start insulting them etc.

Still, it amuses me. >:3

I took a break from my FO4 binge to see how raids were received here. Boy did I get more entertainment than I expected xD

Aside from the hilarity rampaging through this community, how do people like the raids? Did the guardian fight change much from beta?

I played BDO on russian servers for few weeks. Reminded me of eve online a bit. Player interaction is very good but general pve is meh. I hope they will adjust cash shop for b2p model.

Yes, No, Sarcastic, <Question> in almost all dialogs.
No skill checks in dialogs (only charisma).
Wtb dialog overhaul mod.

Well, TBH, that’s about all I wanted, personally Some QoL changes (better companion system, perk revamp, modern graphics, no obscenely low level cap, etc), and it did a fantastic job keeping the flavor of FO3/NV around.

Just curious, what did you expect from it that’s lacking?

Edit: mmh, yeah, RandomGuy makes a decent point. The new conversation interface takes some adjustment, but honestly all dialog in FO3/NV was pretty much “nice / neutral / doochebag” (sp for kitties). The only real problem I have with it is that I can’t tell if the “Sarcastic” option is going to be joking or insulting before I select it.

I was pretty sure that one of my dialog checks was on strength (It had an intimidation context, and I passed it with high strength/low charisma while my wife failed it with the opposite), but I don’t know for sure.

Still, a pretty solid FO release IMO, and a nice evolution of the title.

Well that is the thing, not evolution at all. I can even discuss you the graphics part. Just more of the same or simplified. I was playing and all the time thinking I already played this game… As I have other games (check divinity original sin, if u have not already, is an amzaing old school rpg) to play, I am gonna wait and I will give it another chance in the future. Maybe the story is worth, but coming from bethesda i doubt it.

They simplified a lot of things in fallout 4, they kept the essential npcs and it seems like they never really took any of the good ideas which came with Fallout new vegas which many fans consider to be the best game. I’m not saying fallout 4 is bad, I mean that intro cinematic honestly gave me chills as I have always loved the pre war lore and the storyline for the game was leaked years ago but I never expected this to be so well done. The mods will give it infinite replay-ability so it’s definitely worth buying, but I just wish bethesda would have taken a look at the systems obsidian added in new vegas and expanded upon them, like the ammo crafting, traits, faction reputations, hardcore mode and the companion action wheel.

The 4 turn dialogue is way too vague imo after having completed the game once through BoS I can honestly say the only characters I feel attached to was Danse and nick valentine the companion. The difficulty itself was really disappointing too, I played on survival start to finish never using power armour and only a laser rifle right up until the end and none of the fights were even remotely challenging. I just used some psycho-jet for 22s slow time and 25% extra damage and I could pretty much destroy everything. With that being said the voice acting was incredible but I can’t help shake the feeling that it’s the reason we only have 4 options in dialogue due to time constraints or whatever. It’s been nice to get a distraction from gw2 with all the bs that’s been happening lately but i’m not sure how long it will last.
