Change in loot parameters or a bug? [Merged]
the silence of the dev’s is deafening…
They don’t want to look into it because it’s an annoying bug to track, but i’m already seeing the impact of this.
Half of my guild doesn’t want to go to dynamic events anymore because every.. single… time.. they get no substantive reward while they watch their buddies who are not affected by this DR bug salvage 3 ectos and add to the mounds of gold.
Half of us are being denied the full game experience at this point, and indeed, the dev silence is deafening.
But seriously now. Arenanet. Don’t you think that you really owe us an explanation in regards to what is happening? Don’t we at least deserve that? Afterall, we are the ones who bought your game. So I think we deserve a minimum explanation. I mean really now. If you are treating us like 2nd class consumers then I am afraid this is how you will be treated as well. As a 2nd class developer that refuses to speak-up, to man it up.
Just a question and please don’t take it as a bad one or as an insulting one as its actually a question out of curiosity.
How many of you have been in the Marine?
Because you can’t man it up. It’s clear that you are hiding like babies do and this is not a mature attitude towards anyone and especially towards your customers.
Even though, we are not the ones who fill in your gem shop with real money, still, we are your customers and we are still here.
Having the biggest and larges thread on your forums active and not giving us an answer, at least now, in the last minute, is something I wouldn’t be proud of.
I mean, I wasn’t like that not even when I was 13. When I did something wrong, I had the guts to admit it. Hence I am what I am now.
I know that you probably didn’t do something wrong as wrong is defined in different ways , but at least think about this and actually reflect on this and please give us a reply on this thread.
This silence / ignorance is totally a lack of respect towards many players, players that are actually your loyal customers, others even from GW1 etc.
Thank you!
Ok my 2c on the current state of this…
How is it possible that I kill 6-7 Risen in a row and get NOTHING!?
How is it possible that I join a dragon-swatting-event and get 4 blues and a green!?
How is it possible that I spend 2-3 hours killing mobs and end up getting more hooves than usefull items?
HOW IS THIS POSSBILE???!!!
Seriously it feels like every time there is an adjustment/change to the loot/RNG, we are worese off than before.
Killing a mob should yield something EACH AND EVERY KITTEN TIME! Whoever decides on the RNG parameters needs to play this game more often…
Do not click this link!
I don’t know about you but doing the Claw of Jormag since Wintersday started, I am getting next to no drops from the adds.
I used to nearly fill up my inventory, mostly with white & blue, but I just did one and ended up with a t5 tooth, a green rifle and a blue light armor from the mobs. I had lots of MF, was in a party of 4 who stuck together for the most part. Ele staff means lots of tags, and I didn’t spread very thin.
6 weeks ago I would have gotten at least a rare from them. 1 week ago I would have gotten 10 items at least from them.
I can’t believe how they’re treating us. This is why I quit Perfect World. Their actions told me “We don’t care about you or your time. We are going to make this game as horrible on you as possible until you give us more and more money. That’s all you are to us: wallets. Pay us as much as we can squeeze from you or GTFO.” And I never did return to Perfect World again. Didn’t move on to anything else for years. I’m getting that same taste in my mouth.
To the person asking ANet to explain in public EXACTLY what is happening, if they did that bot engineers could work around it.
I’m not asking for that, but I am asking that the DR bugs be looked into, and that what constitutes the play pattern of a normal, casual, living player be tweaked so real people don’t get punished.
EDIT: Clark, you got loot from the mobs? … even before the 11/15 patch I was getting pretty much nothing from those mobs.
In terms of jormag, Iooted a charzooka (20 gold) there of one of the mobs post patch, also getting a lot of vicious claws and other decent loots. Also much more rares in Orr. Is it possible that some people are affected while others are not?
Medazolam, could you provide us with information about your character and how do you get these things?
On which server are you? What profession do you play? And which level?
How long do you play for what amount of (good) loot? Do you play daily?
How is your usual gaming pattern? (e.g. 1h fractals, then a 30 min dungeon, then 40 min Orr farming, then Jormag) Do you play only pve content? Do you participate in a lot of DEs?
Do you know people in your guild or on your server who experience the same thing like you? Or otherwise?

yes, and that’s what many people in this very long thread have observed.
since 11/15 half my my regular guildies have been taking home 3 ectos from the average event, while the other half get absolutely nada consistently, event after event, day after day, week after week.
Cumulatively, this means a severely diminished game experience for the latter half.
The current dominant theory is bugged DR (or perhaps DR rules which flag false-positive “bot” behavior on real players)
A guildie says he gets about 1/2 mystic forges resulting in an upgrade.
For me, I was getting 8 bad forges in a row before an upgrade. I try now and again to see if things change but haven’t gotten an upgrade in days. I also get an average of less than 1 ecto per exotic lv70+ salvage now. Other say they get 2 average.
It could be that people are extremely unreliable in their retellings. A scary and real possibility is that there is a personal luck mechanism that limits what certain players get. Could be that ones who have made a lot of money over a short time get hit with it, could be that accounts are flagged permanently, could be that some kind of behaviour like doing a lot of forges or logging for many hours causes a personal luck nerf. An current MMO with a big budget has the capability to do stuff like this.
At the beginning I was making lots of gold selling the Shadow armor set, crafted from a recipe from a Renown Heart. No one else was making it. All at once, I saw stacks of 10 of each piece being posted on the TP for half the price I was selling for. They would sell off rapidly. Then 10 stacks for half that price. Counter-intuitive to a player wanting to make money, going cheaper the easier it sells.
It went from 35s each to 2s each, appearing to be by the same person using the same stages of lower prices in huge numbers that would be very difficult to manage given that armor doesn’t stack in inventory. Keep in mind the minimum crafting cost was 6s, so someone was posting in bulk at a huge loss. I asked Anet and they didn’t expressly say they it wasn’t them. They said something like “Sorry we can’t remove listings”, avoiding my question.
Since then, I’ve wondered if my early success has placed me on a bad luck list. Considering their transparency, I won’t ever know.

Sure, I play on Ferg crossing. Level 80 engineer, tag lots of mobs with AoE attacks. Usually in about two to three hour blocks, I do play daily. I wear al magic find armor and always got omnomberry bars going. Never really done dungeons, however the three fractals I did do I got a few rare. Farms northwest frost gorge for lodestones and also sparks when ever they spawn. Do jormag a lot, never get anything good from the chest. Usually get the ‘big’ drops after 10 min max. Charged lodestone have even dropped within the first few kills. Even any rares I get, they drop fast. So now I don’t stick around farming once I get a good drop, I change zones. Outside of sparks and frost gorge I do stick to DE.
I also do a good amount of WvW, I get rares occasionally and exotic very rarely, my guild members seem to get more exotic. I do use the MF booster every now and then if I get them from BLTC chests.
Hope this helps
I was farming CoF last Friday before the Wintersday patch and salvaged rares with a sufficient salvage kit and got about 5-6 ectos give or take.
Now after that patch a few hours ago with unspecified exploits and bugfixes, I get nada. Only 1-2 mithril ore per salvage. How else am I supposed to make some side money besides from dungeons if all I get is blues and greens?
(edited by Aeydon.7430)
Not sure how often gifts are meant to drop but I am lucky to get 1 present ever 3 or more events in cursed shore. Overall drops are still really bad
Looks like if I want gifts (to trade in for the winters day stuff) I have to find a map with not so many people chasing the candy around, but even then I’ve had those boxes explode and have no drop (when attempting to pick up before fighting the foes).
(edited by wildcode.5403)
Chests are most of the time filled with 3 blues, I can run dungeons for hours and not get a single rare, even when clearing dungeons. Rare materials seem to have stopped dropping, I can get one odd core now and then but never lodestones.
I’ve seen 2 exotic drops from dungeon chests in total. I want better loot, it’s a part of the fun and the game. I was considering buying gems but around almost every corner lies disappointment. I’m beginning to think DR is bugged or they just nerfed loot into the ground, perhaps both.
My looting experience.
Removed the MF gear and in the immediate hour afterwards got a corrupted lodestone and an exotic that covered 10% of my gear cost.
Something is definitely up with MF
Well, this loot drop nerf is really getting annoying, specially because we have no official answer about our questions.
Anyway, I find the gems value graph in-game a little bit odd.
Can you explain me this:

It seems to me that the market is a bit too much “regulated”, what do you think?
It seems to me that the market is a bit too much “regulated”, what do you think?
I think its 100% regulated which is probably bad for buyers.
Miranda Zero – Ele / Twitch Zero – Mes / Chargrin Soulboom – Engi
Aliera Zero – Guardian / Reaver Zero – Necro
It seems to me that the market is a bit too much “regulated”, what do you think?
I think its 100% regulated which is probably bad for buyers.
There seems no other real conclusion to reach, (especially in light of recent developer interviews where they actually discussed how much they monitor/adjust item availability in real-time), than the reality that a combination of per-player, zone-specific, and situational reductions/enhancements are applied constantly, to maintain and drive the current revenue focus of the game.
It’s very important to remember that this is not the same game at all as it was pre-June.
The area I highlighted in my posted image shows clearly that they introduced an artificial constant raise in gems value against gold (see the nice constant positive gradient!).
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/7231/bltc17dec2012.jpg
On top of that artificial trade constant gem value raise they put the normal gamer trades and the graph appears with many spikes as normal.
The only problem is that last Friday they delayed the Wintersday event and everyone was expecting the new gem store items and almost nobody bought or traded gems until the patch went live on Saturday.
This curious gamers behaviour revealed the ninja gem versus gold constant value raise introduced by them, as the in-game graph shows.
I think there are not any more doubts about the market manipulation..:)

Let’s see if getting this thread to 2000 will get them to care at all.
It won`t.
Anyway. I`ve been running some events/wvw/farming with guildies recently and they were getting rares where I were not. They play at most an hour a day, I play a lot more, so while I wait for them to come online, I play on my alts. I alternate between them, and never stay in one location for more than half an hour. The only reason I see my drops are less than my guildmates` is that DR is account bound and worldwide. Meaning, if you play like an hour each day you are fine, if you spend more time in game, no matter if you change locations and alts, you`ll be penalized.
So, say a tester in Anet gets report on poor loot drop, creates a test character on a test account and go play an hour of the game. He gets tons of stuff (because the DR had not kicked in yet) and closes support ticket thinking “those demanding idiots are trying to scam us. ha! to hell with them”.
*Fixed several exploits and bugs.
anybody tested if they changed something with the drops?

I have no hopes regarding this, since it is not a bug for them, but rather a matter of LUCK.

I take my hat off to you, Red. Well found indeed.
nothing has change at all with drops…i played around 9 hours today and barely made any money in drops..mainly looting crafting mats and junk very few gear no rare sometimes even just 70 copper from champions…. im kinda a loss at words with this whole DR thing my friends do play much maybe 1hr to 2hrs a day when they log off they have made so much more money than me in loot…. almost deciding if this game is for a hardcore gamer i even took a decent sized break today maybe around 5-6hrs went to sleep and logged on started farming again and got nothing in the hour i farmed…seems the DR is perma bugged on me and a few of my friends i havent been able to farm anything for the last few weeks bout to just give up find a dif game because the devs do not want to touch this topic…they say they have removed a sufficient amount of bots there for they should relax the DR system no?
My experience thus far… if it helps at all having more ppl report their findings. My main is a lvl 80 ranger with an average of 2 hours per day since launch. I have never set foot in a dungeon and last night was my first ‘dragon experience’ (Jormag).
I have “NEVER” had an exotic drop from a chest or any champ, vet, or other mob in the PVE or WvWvW world. The one exception to this is the Lost Shores Event where I got two lvl 70’s staffs that I sold on TP for 4g total.
Last night Jormag gave me a green, lots of gems and a couple of blues. In all honesty I was highly disappointed with this epic battle giving such poor reward. Just one exotic would have been nice.
Rare that have dropped are always going to do so within the first hour of playing whether I play on my main then switch to alt or not. NOTHING good ever comes after that first hour no matter how many different maps or mobs you go to. I have seen 3 rares drop since the November patch.
I don’t do dungeons because I have 4 children at home and it can get chaotic quickly at times. I could not set aside that kind of time with a guarantee that I’ll be running straight through without interuption. So until I find a way to keep from angering others if I have to take a moment away… they are a ‘no go’. So that entire avenue of making gold or getting exotics is closed to me for now.
WvW has been fun the few times I have been and I would go much more often if I could afford the repairs. 145 kills and I have 1 rare and 14 badges. Running into a zerg with a much smaller party means high repair costs no matter how fun it is; it costs to stay there.
Finally, exotics I have gotten besides the Karka chest event were all from map completion. Orr was a total bust even doing map completion in those three zones (1 rare at Grenth and lots of porous bones). The only maps I have left are WvW and those will take some time. I don’t just go there to get poi’s etc. When I go it’s to enjoy the content just like I did for the open world maps. But even while there, the DR starts at the one hour mark and it seems amount and quality both suffer as it does elsewhere.
I am wondering if it is worth getting a second account just to earn money for my main acct. At least on the days I have more than 2 hours to enjoy the game I can switch and no longer worry that the DR will make th experience less enjoyable.
Edit: Oh and one other thing.. what’s a lodestone? JK I have never seen one drop… ever.

This pretty much sums up my experience too.

Half of my guild doesn’t want to go to dynamic events anymore because every.. single… time.. they get no substantive reward while they watch their buddies who are not affected by this DR bug salvage 3 ectos and add to the mounds of gold.

Yeah the impact of this massive nerf to rare drop rates has been huge in my group of friends.
All of my friends had been playing GW2 to the exclusion of everything else since the headstart.
Now? None of them are playing GW2 and they haven’t bothered to log in since the rare drop super-nerf.
It’s really weird though. Some persons seem to go unaffected by this and some people seem to have permanent dr on them.
(edited by Boomstin.3460)
I’ve never being the farm kind of player…
I tried start being one but from my experience it seems my char is affected by some kind of dimishing return in drop like if I was a farmer because I can’t get a single drop or ectos anymore.
I have posted before about the terrible drop rate, but something has changed at least for me. Still not a single drop from any champion or veteran, but in the last 2 days I have gotten 6 different rare drops from mobs around the black citidel. Drops have actually been rather decent all the way around. I hope this is not actually a glitch.
It’s really weird though. Some persons seem to go unaffected by this and some people seem to have permanent dr on them.
I think this “bug” is hugely difficult to figure out (if they’re trying) because, like you said, it affects some people horrendously, and others hardly at all.
In general, almost everyone I’ve spoken to has seen a decrease in drop rates across the board in anything except FotM since the Nov 15 patch. It makes me feel there is, in fact, some tweaking done to the overall drop table.
On a more personal level & the separate “I think I have perma-DR” issue that affects loot drops …
I personally have never looted an exotic, ever. Never. Close to 900 hours played and 2 level 80s. Done dungeons, open world, and FotM. Have gotten zero exotics, ever. Well, I got the two in the Karka chest that were guaranteed, and ones from zone competition, but never have I actually squatted over a corpse and looted one.
If I do FotM, I usually get 0-2 rares per run-through, and enough greens/blues/junk/crafting mats to fill about 30 inventory slots.
Other people I’ve run with have looted 2 exotics in the same trip, several rares (I remember one trip where every single person in the group except for me got a rare off the same dead monster. Four other people got a rare, and I got a junk item.
I spent 4 hours one night farming crafting mats with a couple guildies and I got zero drops in the first 3.5 hours, no drops including gray “junk” items dropped for me. No corpses were lootable. The others had various crafting mats, whites, blues, greens, etc … I got zero drops for 3.5 hours straight killing the exact same mobs … until finally I got an ‘Egg’ and a gray junk loot before we broke up the group.

It’s been our policy not to mention exploit fixes/farm kills in patch notes. I’ll discuss more visibility with the people in charge of our patch notes in regard to those actions with dungeons.
Interesting quote in the dungeon patch discussion. Maybe I’m misunderstanding “farm kills” but seems like the policy is nerf farming spots and don’t talk about it. Might explain the silence on the matter.
Well, then I don’t understand why they officially stated that farming is good.

The best loot I have ever gotten was when Anet mailed me a Karka chest that I had not been able to loot. Got a Exotic Precursor Trident!
Otherwise running FOTM yields 1-3 golds for the whole run for me. I have pretty much full magic find gear. That is, when FOTM does not glitch out and not let us finish…
which is another story
But I have for SURE seen the drop rate nerfed. I used to run the event chains in Orr and pull greens and blues galore with the occasional gold. Full MF gear, and 8 events per hour was good
but revently, i dont even get whites… just a LOT LOT LOT of those silly trophy skulls that arent worth anything

So tell me how can a thread hit over one thousand replies with such an issue and there is no response at all, not even a single line of typical PR hustle? I’ve been watching this, and while many threads get rolled off the front page and into purgatory, this one has remained persistent. There are a lot of things broken in this game, it’s new and yes it has bugs, some of which are quite strange, but at least tell the community if it’s a bug or intended so people can make up their mind if as to whether they’re wasting their time. If it’s a bug, it wouldn’t put you out too much to say “Yeah, hang in there with us, it’s tricky and we’re working on it” and if it’s intended, it’s a really kitteny way to prolong the life of a game marketed to be sans grind. The silence is opening the door for a lot of speculation and most of it isn’t in the company’s favor.
Well it looks like the nerf hit the BLTC chests now and people are a little upset.

It will be interesting if the new make over effects us as well (open worlders). They seem content to keep giving themselves paper cuts a la swimming with sharks.
Ya I came back yesterday and man doing exploration and I got nothing really bad. If I wasnt going for 100% I would never go out into the open events. In full MF jewels and all. A couple of greens.

GW1 vets will notice this is just like being “coded” and “non coded”
But in GW1 if you were coded from over farming ectos in UW for a week straight stopping for a month would reset it (i commonly went on hiatus and would notice my loot improve 10 fold)
But here that dosnt seem to be the case as many have quit for a month+ and came back to see if it has changed and it hasnt…
My guess is its working as intended, BUT its not resetting the “coded” status (DR is pretty much the same thing different name i suppose, but coded was area/time based and not number of kills/number of events based) probably do to a bug or some such nonsense.

I think ANet live by the motto “if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all”.

If it isnt resetting, then it isnt working correctly. And it shouldnt take a month, or even days of not playing in order to reset it. A couple of hours should do it. AND it shouldnt follow you to other zones. The way it was supposed to work according to anet was that if you farmed too long in one zone, you could switch to another and keep farming there and wouldnt be affected by the dr of the previous zone. The previous zone(s) dr would reset after a while (a couple of hours? cant remember).. At first when implemented the dr kicked in far too early, which they fixed. The thing they said was that if you just play normally (not farming) you shouldnt be affected by DR. Clearly its not working as intended unless they suddenly went back on their word without saying anything.
Oh and another thing, it does seem to affect some people alot more than others. As if something in the database for some accounts/chars is corrupted or bugged in regards to DR and the like.
Because yes, this is not about simply having bad luck. With or without MF this happens (although some say it gets worse the more mf you got). If you are affected by this, grouping will most likely not improve your chances.
The reply on the AMA, what does it mean? Possibly jack squat. I do hope they are working on this, they would be pretty dumb if they didnt. It should to be honest be high on their list of things to fix.
And the worst thing? Their silence on the issue..

Yeah i remember getting DR on karma after 20 mins of doing events back when i was grinding out karma for my obby shards, but hey at least back then we still got loot XD
Pretty ridiculous that we still don’t have a response – even if it were to just say “Yes, this is the new normal, don’t expect to get any loot.”
At least then we could know for whether or not GW2 is a complete waste of time or not, rather than being stuck in limbo like this.
I really wish they would fix this or just say “tough luck, buy more gems” and get it over with. I want to either play the game I payed for (i.e., sans hyper-nerf to drops) or get confirmation that GW2 now stands for Grind Wars 2 so I can decide once and for all whether I’m ever going to play again.
Well if it’s a ‘coded’ issue then maybe buying a second account and starting over may be worth it for me. I want to roll 4 more char’s and the cost is what.. 3200 gems?
So the cost is close to a new box. At least I could get lucky and this new account won’t be saddled with the kitten poor luck my main account has. And I could actually have a comparison.
I don’t know though if I had two accounts with this issue I would be more than upset so… maybe I’ll just wait and see.

If I were you I wouldn’t buy a second account until (or rather, IF) they fix it, just to show that you don’t support this mentality of screwing players over and making the game as unfun as possible.
Having read most of the thread, I tend to agree that the diminished returns and Fractals have ruined the game. Can’t farm for anything to build things… hard time going to explore zones when there aren’t any other people in them to help or help out.
Quickly becoming a tiresome game… I haven’t even had the urge to buy gems lately as there isn’t even anything all that interesting in the gem store. I’ll happily support a game with my money when the game is worth paying for.
Hi Everyone,
Please bear with me. I know it’s a slightly long post but take the time to read it and comment.
I think the reason they (ANet devs/mods) do not want to reply in this thread is because they cannot provide an answer to us in the fullest. Instead, will we jump all over their reply like hungry hyena. I do, however, believe that simple written acknowledgement would be appropriate at this time.
A thread link posted by Navi.7142 describes a response by JonPeters and is the closest response to this issue. Below are few quotes I have rebuttled:
“Guild Wars 2 is a game about freedom. We want you to be able to explore the world and engage in a huge variety of activities, focusing on whatever best suits your tastes.”
He says the game is about playing how we want, yet the subliminal message there can be understood as – you need to do all of the things in the game and not just farm one particular thing.
“Some players have run into “diminishing returns” thresholds we put into the game to provide a safety net against unanticipated economy-breaking issues. "
‘Some players’ is an understatement. This was written 2 months ago and yet, based on this thread, it would suggest it has escalated. As for ‘unanticipated economy-breaking issues’; the reason for this is because people WILL farm one particular thing within the game and make money of it. You (ANet) are the one who added the TP to the game and made it possible to use real world currency to buy gems. Offcourse people will be inclined to try and make money out of this game!
“It would be bad for everyone if, for example, a group of players learned how to speed-clear a dungeon in 5 minutes, with full rewards each time, and then repeated that continuously.”
It doesn’t matter where or how this is done. Players will ALWAYS find a way to get “rich”. Controlling every aspect of the game to have the economy “balanced” will make it worse than to begin with.
“When one activity emerges that’s order of magnitudes more profitable than anything else in the game, it forces everyone to either engage in that activity or get priced out of the economy.”
So in other words – either have only half the people get rich while the other suffer from the RNG, or everyone suffer and look for another activity to get good profits. Wait, didn’t you say that “Guild Wars 2 is a game about freedom…”? (First quote above). It instead sounds like you are controlling our freedom.
“While we need a safety net to stop unanticipated economy-breaking exploits and botting, we have no desire to stop farming. Farmers are a part every online economy and when they are doing normal game activity they do not cause any harm. If a player finds a normal game activity fun and would like to keep doing it, that’s fine with us.”
The reason people farm is to get good returns (i.e. money or gear) off of it. You say it’s not your desire to stop this, however, based on the constant feedback by us players with regards to NERFING of MANY activities. It definitely does not sound like what you suggested. Also what do you mean by ‘normal activity’?
“Initially we have to rely on smaller data sets, instinct and some guesswork to find the correct cut-off. What this means is that some players are going to bump into the edges of these systems for a while as we get them sorted out”
You (ANet) are playing a catch-up game with your so called ECONOMY (TP). Once again you wrote this two months ago. At this stage, based on the amount of unsatisfied gamers with regards to DR/RNG, too many players are bumping into your so called “games profitable edges”. It would almost seem like, assuming that you have far more data than before, that your changes have actually negatively impacted this game rather than positively.
I still believe that ANet is putting too much emphasis on the TP and controlling it. One way to control it is to bump up the gem/coin exchange prices. The picture posted by RedBaron.6058 (http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/7231/bltc17dec2012.jpg) clearly shows what is happening in the background. Yes, I did see this before as well and made me think the same. The simplest relationship between two variables is a linear relationship, however there are too many factors within to be able to simply this into a LINEAR RELATIONSHIP. The variables are constantly fluctuating with time and having this linear relationship implemented for a longer period will actually cause a negative effect in the long term and cause other variables to get out of control (physics/manths are my strong points and statistical data analysis is something I can comprehend well)
Anyways I’m drifting off topic here. TL:DR ANet is putting too much emphasis on the TP by controlling the RNG/DR. This causes negative effect towards the general player and has been worsening.

Yes i agree there may be many factors regarding the issue we’ve experienced and i also believe there may not be a simple solution, what i don’t understand is this uncaring and apathetic attitude for the people who have shelled out money for the game. There is nothing else i can call this behavior without getting banned which to be honest would be rather hypocritical considering the only thing I’m guilty of is trying to get an answer about a real issue from a company i once trusted and held in such high regard.
I have some for you. ^^
Maybe they should increase the value of porous bones, hooves and so on. That way we earn some money whilst swearing at the missing – real needed – loot.
Well you could have made money today with the new ecto recipe. I guess that’s how we make money ingame, play the market and take advantage of opportunities.

What, what?! Ecto recipe? Is this a recipe to make ecto, or a recipe that uses ecto?
It would be nice to have another source of ecto’s apart from the now extremely rare yellow drops (and the ever increasing price of them on TP).
