I wonder if you will find any players who… only play by posting on a forum. When they post to answer here, they will be in the play&read variant

Used to be #3 but more #2 now.

I wish it didn’t have to be.

Read/post at home, and read at work/school.

I wish I could say I play, but I wouldn’t consider logging in every two weeks to play an hour or two of story because nothing else interests me anymore…..to really be playing the game.

Becoming less of a player and more of a reader as the game is slowly losing me. Last living story chapter was turning me into a player again, but this recent chapter failed to keep me interested. Every time I’ve logged in the past week, I’ve felt sick from boredom and only play when my little sister wants me to get on with her or to complete the crumbs of living story content.

I’ll mostly remain a reader until either the game adds new content that can interest me again or I just lose interest completely and uninstall to make room for film editing software or something.

Golden shackles are still golden.

I’m far too busy playing to post on the forums…

Simplicity is complex.

Good feedback is key to getting the developers to listen to you.

Play and read.
My work requires 10 full days in a row and those days I read mostly. The four I get off after the stretch, I play once the kids go to bed. I think I need a better work schedule

So what about the category that doesn’t play and doesn’t read?

So what about the category that doesn’t play and doesn’t read?

Those players probably aren’t reading this thread, and won’t answer. :P

I read the forums, and play the game.

Good question!

Play and read: players who play and reads forums (myself)

I play as I have time. I’m trying to get into grad. school so my time is pretty much not mine to decide right now.

I read forums whenever friend’s start linking comments about this or that going on. If it seems like the same issue is going on over and over again I’ll write a post about it. More read than write, but more play than read.

I’ve 100%‘d for 7 characters, but only 2 legendary weapons. Most of my friends are at 4 to 6 now, but I’m waiting for some new ones to come out. I’ll probably do Quip next year or the Minstrel. I’m working on Ascended for the most part lately. It’s more of a priority as everyone wants to do Fractals in a more serious way.

Living Story drives most of my writing since that’s what is the voiced-focus of the development end of this game. Most of my reading goes to the Lore areas, personal friends’ posts, and content updates.

I’m taking a break from the game for a bit. I’ve been waiting for seven and a half months for the trait system to be made tolerable, and I no longer believe that will happen. Given that there’s virtually no support in-game for roleplay, I don’t even need to log in for that. Email works just as well.

Before this, I’ve been pretty much equal forum/play, and prior to April I played significantly more time than I spent on the forum.

Because we can’t be angry about both?

Mostly reading the forums when I am bored, trolling around here and there and pointing out obvious flaws as entertaining as possible.

I just updated the client to the current episode of the L(ame) S(tory), maybe I will play through it when I am in the mood for a bad single player experience.

So I am probably a #2.5… ^^
