So the title says it all.
All I want here is for you to put the top three areas of this game that you personally would like to see Anet spend their time on and 1 that you wish they would spend less on. No paragraphs, just 1, 2, 3, and 1. This might help Anet get some direction as to what the player base really sees as important to the future of this game. I know they try hard, but if we don’t tell them what we want them to prioritize, they just get flooded with feedback.
Please keep this thread simple, respectful, and constructive. Really this is to help, so please no derailments.
My list:
Prioritize:
1)Profession Balance: Fix useless utilities, and nerf the OP “meta builds/classes” to match the other classes.
2) More permanent content, especially new utilities
3) Fix outstanding bugs in content: In Dungeons, WvW, utilities, etc.
Spend Less Time On:
1)Living Story: Less temporary content that feels rushed

1) Bugfixes & rework of condition damage
2) Balance & better implementation of condition dmg
3) A giant patch opening up the worl for something nice and premanent
Including all of the following:
-New proffession(s)
-New PERMANENT area(s) (and I do not expect it to be a southsun improvement… Start with the maguma jungle, then the Crystal Desert in 3 months, then the ring of fire a furter 3 months on…. And just DO NOT STOP!
-New Weapon type(s)
-New Race(s)
-New Dungeons
-Underground and Sky maps.
-New conditions and a usefull way to use them… & restructure of the conditions mechanics!
Spend less time on:

Why these 3? It’s about the future of the game we play and love.
Anything less is the law of silence and we’ve had 19 months of it.
oh and
gameplay, because.. well, its quite important after all.
1. Quality content that is permanent.
2. Existing weapon expansion to all professions.
3. Risk vs. Reward addressed. Exploration should be rewarding.

1. Customer Service – Worst I’ve seen in any MMO.
2. WvW. Your PVE is a kitten farmfest. Hardly a way to fix it now.
3. Read the forums. People tell you what we want and you guys do your own thing.

2. More fractals levels and adding more than 1 stability to the higher
levels
3. Fix Koss on Koss to look like the icon
Easy peasy, but i fear i may only get the first choice
1, UW and FoW content
2, I want to be able to guest on US servers so i can play with my podcast buddys
3, An iphone/android app so i can guild chat when commuting etc
More time on:
1. Optimize the game. Seriously guys my comp has a video card too. I literally burnt out the CPU on my old comp trying to run this game; it’s time to optimize.
2. More skins that we can unlock through gameplay.
3. A complete QoL overhaul for guilds including halls.
Less time on:
1. The gem store.
1. Balance pvp and pve (wvw only to some level for classes)
2. New content
3. Current bugs
The number one thing i do not want them to focus on is the forums. Its just a waist of time that would be use soo much better on other things.
I only want ONE thing: toroidal progression. Because Horizontal and Vertical Progression are so last week.
1. sPvP (balance, ladders, game modes, …)
2. Challenging small group PvE content
3. Reward overhaul across the whole game. making things more content specific and less RNG and tradeable or gem store based (so everything revolves around gold farming).
Spend less time in:
Zerg / extremey massive content
Prioritize:
1. sexy armor for female human and norn
2. sexy hairstyles for female human and norn
3. sexy female NPCs

1. Fixing charr armor.

2. Get back to balancing Dungeons you said every dungeon would be receive a balance, then Living story happen and the project was abandon.
3. Guild Halls, come on man what’s taking so long to intro this feature..
1) new zone, new race, new class, new weapon – seriously we are getting bored with the same skills and class for over 1 year of release
2) skin locker – the more gem store skin release, the less likely people will buy when they finally understand it is not worth to spend when more and more useless skin part are in bank taking up space.
3) expand personal story to season 2 – fighting dragon should become the permanent story content for a player, as GW2 is all about fighting dragon. It is good to have LS as an introduction to more dragons in the future, but fights the elder dragon missions should stay all the time.

then we can talk about GVG map for WWW
then we can talk about new sPVP map mode ( capture the flag instead of king of the hill… hello…. )

The presence of daily achievements in spvp culls in too many farmers who are not there to be competitive at all.
3. “Quickly” re-add a reward system for spvp
The 2014 March 18th patch was as if arena-net is trying to steer us away from spvp
4. Eliminate the DR system entirely
Ascended/Legendary or even just re-tweaking a poorly setup exotic set is time consuming and requires grinding. We don’t need a DR system that punishes us for that grind.

Well that’s just the different lighting… if you find an evenly and neutral colored lit place, probably it could look the same. Not sure if a place like that exists though.

1. Start Focusing on Merging Servers or ways to stop this exodus from certain servers that in the example of Underworld, it did lost thousands of players in less than 24h.
2. PvE, this is incredible important, if we’re not PVP players, we feel this game as almost nothing to offer us. Please stop making PvE based on “Zerg-Trains” and try reward more players for spread more around the maps, actually maybe improve loot chances or luck when we’re playing with parties at normal PvE maps.
3. Try to make Living Story to add Permanent Content instead of this temporary things, Living Story ending is the END OF PVE, it’s one of the last things trying to still make PvE interesting and always new things to explore.

1. Condition damage in PvE, specially in larger zerging events.
2. A way to save/recall multiple builds/gear loadout for our character. To keep balance make it so that it can only be done in cities (maybe talking to a trainer and ask to change to your secondary build) and to help support the game, make it so we have limited slots for builds on each character, and have more unlocked with gem store.
3. Underwater combat revamp. I’d start with at least allowing us to have separate builds for land combar and underwater combat. It’s annoying, to say the least, when half of my flamethrower engineer’s traits become useless when underwater because I can’t equip the FT kit there.
In no particular order:
1) Profession Balance
2) Creating more permanent, instanced content (10-person raids would be awesome)
3) Guild Halls

2.) expand the map (and I mean at least 1 region, not a single zone)
3.) Vanity related issues (i.e. clipping problems, new armor, etc.)

1) QA – Day one bugs on most patches that halt progress is unacceptable.
2) Permanent Content – This one speaks for itself.
3) Proper rewards – I don’t want to see a new armour set in the gem store that I can’t earn from the content you just added.
1) Dynamic event overhaul. Ensure that they impact the world more substantially, make it feel like your actions were important to “controlling” how Tyria functions, and impact the player base in a way that makes them want to do them.
2) Larger, higher quality content releases
3) More character progression options, such as advanced professions
1: New dungeons. Not annoying like TA Aetherpath though. Molten Facility was great
2: New profession skills and make bad profession skills better for more variety.
3: More weapons for each class to use

-Get male chars better armor! (No matter what race!)
