So i attempted at participating in all the events. Here is what happened, got d/c just before my overflow won the LA event. No reward for that. Got D/C on the first event to take karka island, no reward for that. Couldn’t even play 10 seconds without d/c on last event. No chest and no rewards as of current time. No mail but watching all my guildmates post what they got in chat is just making me sick of it. In case you don’t see a pattern here D/C is the norm. TY if I actually get one of these chests

Missed the event by less than an hour because I was sick. T_T Unlike some others, received no chest in the mail.

I got a never ending loading screen on the second wave of karka chasing the ancient karka back and couldn’t log in because the log in servers were down, still waiting on my reward.

Still haven’t gotten mine lol

Looted the chest and got the box in the mail. Did they send it to everyone or just randomly sent?

Couldn’t do the event because of the timing and I am getting no chest.

People abused Overflow servers to get the chest 3 times and are being sent extra ones.

Seems fair.

Are you guys aware that people who completed the event are getting chests? We’ve had about 4 people in guild who did the event getting a chest, and others who never did the event because they weren’t present or DC’d are not getting the chest.

Well, I just got a chest with a bunch of awesome stuff in it in the mail, I imagine they are starting to send them out, so keep an eye out!

Everyone else, it is extremely rare that a company would publicly say “Sorry for the trouble you had, we WILL make up for it.” and follows through with that promise.

I was at the event, all i got was 2 exotics an amulet and a bag.

How and why have you mailed out better rewards then those who were actually doing the final event?!

In the event I got 2 exotics, 2 rares, karka accessory, and karka bag… shrugs

I should hope that I will, considering the only reason I couldn’t log in was not being able to get the client to launch the game successfully. Funnily enough, the client worked fine before & after the event. So y’know…

Not true. I did not participate in any content and received the chest.

I am in a similar boat. I didn’t do the event as I wasn’t aware it was happening at the time it was. But I was in southsun cove on the day of the event. And I got a chest in the mail when I got on today.

Still no chest and I DC’d on the event :/ (Actually DC:d 2-3 times total)
Oh well I guess they are still coming!

During the Karka Final event, I was permanently banned due to botting (wrongfully, my account has since been restored); so I couldn’t participate and get rewards.

It may also relate to the email address used for the game. If they’re going in alphabetical order, and there’s an enormous userbase, then those with emails that start with letters later in the alphabet are going to have to wait quite a while.
Not sure, though. I looted the chest during the event so I’m not expecting to get any mail.

Guys, they already said the script will take several hours to run. If in, say, 12 hours (or when they make an announcement saying the script finished), you still don’t have one, then start worrying. Until then, just be patient.

I got a chest but didn’t actually attend the event. So I’m a little surprised I got one.

I logged in today noticed I had mail checked and I got the chest. Not sure why I looted the 1 during the finale only thing was after I looted it I got kicked immediately

EDIT: Might as well add my time of DC: Right after killing countless reinforcements while leading the Ancient Karka to the cave/hive. Couldn’t login for bout’ 2hrs after that. Ofcourse when I did login there was no reward or anything.

Don’t worry; they’ll get more chances at precursors, you just need to start buying gems to sell for gold.

Had a DC as well…little annoyed that I haven’t seen anything, and yet others are already making off like bandits(people who actually looted the chest already).

I’m confused by all of this as well. I’ve got people in my guild gloating about how they weren’t even participating in the event (But were online playing) got mailed chest, and others who couldn’t make it/were there but suffered from crazy disconnects haven’t gotten one. Curious to know what the conditions of getting a chest mailed to you are.

Probably everyone will end up getting a chest. Give it some more time man I’m still waiting too!

I’m fine with not getting a chest, since I did the whole event start to finish on Main (Tarnished Coast) without a dc.

I’m perplexed by my guildies who were in my group the whole time also without dcing and getting a chest when I haven’t, but eh! ANet’s trying. Besides, I have awesome guildies who are cheerfully just giving the exotics to each other.

Awesome so a million or more support tickets crying for loot. Really anet, since you have so much time to deal with chest goodies. Have you fixed the email and auth bugs? gotten any closer to restores? I see pages upon pages of people being banned suspended because of 2 or more copies being bought. even more pages of hacked accounts. the game constanly bugs out for dungeon tokens, suppose to get 60 for daily end up with 3…. Buy stuff from gem store never shows up, TP randomly eats money and mats.
These r just my experiences but if your not gonna replace restore fix the daily in game “loot” issues, the what the kitten does this do? a couple gracious thankyous anet your so awesome. and 5 merged pages of kitten posts and customer tickets on where’s my chest…..

Is the script finished? I DC’d midway and haven’t gotten anything yet.

Id welcome if they simply sent one of those goodie bags to every account that was created before the karka event ended. Sure some would get an additional one. But all the Oceanics who didnt get to participate would get a goodie bag too. Not just those that had the time to be there.

I logged in to the island but didn’t get to participate in the event as they had all finished… however the time frame for the event was still in effect when I logged in, yet I didn’t get DC’d but still got a chest in the mail.

A friend of mine got DC’d, but still got a chest during the evetn from an overflow, he then took a second character to the event and got DC’d again but didn’t get a second event chest – but did get mailed a second chest.

Another fiend got the chest from doing the event, but didn’t take any other characters in and wasn’t mailed a second chest.

Based on this it seems to be a case of: if you had a character that didn’t get the chest on the island during a certain time frame and you changed servers during that time frame then you get mailed a chest.

Tried to do the event; couldn’t do it, got nothing.

I’m reading that the script is now “finished running” (Dev Tracker), but they don’t want us putting in tickets yet.

Guess I’ll wait longer.

If I’m being totally honest, I’m expecting to get hosed again too… and yet we cling to hope, right? What was it Raistlin said in Dragonlance?

So I was right, couldn’t reorganize my entire life around the game so I get nothing whereas other people could do the events multiple times and and still get this chest sent to them.

Its the portable mystic forge all over again.

Anet proves they just don’t care about the playerbase.
