Would “Annal Legend” (for rev) get changed/break any rules?

annal: a record of events or historical account

I suspect you’d get reported because someone would read it as anal, but that’s probably kittened on the site. Whether or not you’d have to change it, though, is up to the dev who gets the ticket.

I don’t really see a problem with it because I knew the difference between the two words.

I’m shocked… anal isn’t part of their filter words! Yet kitten (forty-five point five percent) is.

The best name I’ve come across was a Charr named “Twerkasaurus Smex”.

I doubt it since it’s not “kittened” out

Personally OP, I wouldn’t risk it. The word “annal” is quite obscure as it is… “anal” is used far more often and I would think that more people would see it as a creative misspelling than for what it truly is.

Although the word “anal” isn’t filtered here on the forum, it surprises me that it isn’t. It is filtered out in-game, using even the normal chat filter.

It’s pretty iffy and I’d bet they’d make you change it. Annals is simply not a common enough word to be immediately recognized by most people.

Maybe something like, Archivist Rev instead.

My pet Moa was actually called Lawn after a guildie suggested that there was no lawn moas in the game.

I have a toon with the name Serious Leyloo King waiting to be exchanged for a Revenant when the expansion comes out. Works better if you say it fast.
