As a general rule, we want what the NPCs have (armour, town clothes, hair styles, weapon skins).

The NPCs create fashion, fashion creates demand, demand creates supply, suppy means money for you and satisfaction for us.

And the great thing about fashion is that it constantly changes. I may want Kasmeer’s hair today and Marjory’s tomorrow. Unlimited moneys for ANet!

The missing link standing in between you, ANet, and all my money right now is “demand creates supply”.

I agree, some of the NPC armors are really great, such as the human female clothing.

It is so great that we are getting things like mining nodes for our home instances that are useful rewards. It makes the home instances more significant. However it would be great to add aesthetic items and decorative accessories to the home instances that you can buy from the gem store.

Like in Aion, you can buy furniture (non functional ones as well as functional ones). I’m not proposing they make anything that gives players an advantage some how, but I would like to make the home instances more homey feeling, if that makes any sense. Though it’s true that would be a little time consuming because each home instance is different based on the race, I would love to be able to upgrade the place. I’m sure there are lots of people that would be willing to pay for things like this too, especially those usually ask for player housing in MMO’s.

Like Sleeping quarters for example, a trophy room or something to show off your achievements like in the HOM. Furniture like couches, bookshelves, plants, etc. Things that allow players to personalize their home instances are all good additions. Exotic imports from cantha and elona.

Maybe later on a place to show off pets like in the Zaishen Menagerie.

Put past skins in the gem store PLEASE. Not only for those of us who tried to get them but couldn’t, but also for new players who want them.

Make the already cool stuff in the gem store like sun glasses NON town clothing. Or let us choose if we want it as a item skin or town clothes. Seems like most of those already cool things go to waste.

I am still waiting for a set of pants for the fancy shirts. They have pants in the pictures….and without them they just look awkward.

Pack mule/ donkey. It is a summonable animal that carries 30 items in it. Has a lead rope that attaches to you so you must guide it around. You can’t waypoint with it while it is out and in use.

Players in WvW can load up the pack mule/ donkey with supply (up to 50 supply), just like commander Siegerazer and lead it around so the group has ample supply for their siege. The player leading the pack mule/donkey can’t fight, so they must rely on the group with them to defend the mule and the person it’s tethered to. If the pack mule or owner is killed, the animal is de-summoned and all supply inside is considered lost and resets back to 0.

Could also sunstitute mules and donkeys for dolyaks.

Permanent hair stylist contracts are awesome and I’d love to see them re-introduced. I’d especially like to be able to dye accessories in my hair any color I own instead of just the starter dyes.

More dyes, Flame and Frost dyes got a ton of my money.

As mentioned before, it would be nice to see more Town Clothing available in the gem store. I personally would love the option (for a female) to have a skirt with stockings, because I need it to roleplay for my character~

Not sure if this has been mentioned but… I need an item that returns soul-bounded item into its previous not-yet-soul bound stage. It would tremendously help a lot of players low on laurels/gold to spread the wealth among their own characters. This way I feel much better playing different classes without feeling guilty because I’ve invested too much on one or two characters that have all the ascended. Or, say, My warrior was using Twilight but now I want my guardian to have it… that item can make the twilight account bound until used once again. Since Legendaries are cosmetics anyway, why not ? It’s not like it would cause game play imbalance. Knowing I can always re-use my legendary on different characters would lift the spirit of exploring new class and investing in new class to a whole kitten new level. It’s a GREAT way to make more money for YOU NCSOFT (instead of just making legendary account-abound like a lot of players have suggested which of course, I am very much in favor as well).

It would be even better if we can unbind certain items and sell them back when we’re done with it. Until then I can settle for an item that can make things account-bound until used.

Also, free music sheets for all the players who have bought your musical instruments? I think it would encourage more players to purchase instrument. Look, it’s not that hard to look up those notes online…but it would be NICE to get cool complementary music sheets.

With the addition of Braham’s armour to the gem store, I’ve heard several people ask about Braham’s mace and shield to be made available again for a short time. Now people are trying to complete their sets.

How about a gemstore item to reset the upcoming Tier 7 crafting material cooldown. This would fit perfectly into the “those with money can pay, those with time can wait” philosophy that was stated for the gemstore.

What this game desperately needs… i use that term loosely… is a new toy.. the mustache comb… goes in the toy slot and while you’re idle or a 1 skill can be used and the character will stand there and comb its glorious mustache to avoid it becoming unkempt and unruly.

No, its disgusting that we have 3 different versions of quaggan backpacks, and not a single skritt.

Sorry all I can think of now is that Ratbert is a skritt. Which leads to a Ratbert backpack.

It would be real nice if the armor skins you bought were like the zenith skins you get from AP. Give us a PVE locker that stores them and we can use them for other toons and new lvl 80 gear without having to use the transmute crystals. Keep in mind this will only work for the skins bought from the gem store so as to not diminish the need for them on other armor and weapon skins.

I’d like the permanent harvesting tools to be acount bound and available as a permanent fixture in the store.

I’d also like to be able to re-do the personal story as a regular feature not a gem store item. Becuase of all the choice points you have to make you don’t get to see the other choices. It wouldn’t affect your home instance any but will allow you to explore other paths. You would access through the Hero panel under the personal story tab, pick the step you want to re-do and click a “replay” button. The replay won’t give you any extra special item rewards but just the coin, karma, and experience. If you pick the first step it lets you explore the different options available upon character creation. If you pick one that has a choice at the end then you can select a different choice which will open the path up. you will still need to manually select to replay the new step. It should probably only be available once the story is fully completed. (It wouldn’t make sense to be able to replay in realtime although I suppose it could). I’ve had the problem of accidentally selecting a choice (I’m on a laptop using the built in pad so my hand brushed against the button/I was trigger happy, not thinking about there being a choice) so being stuck doing a particular one because of it isn’t the best. Also I didn’t know until recently that the answer to the Pale tree’s question of greatest fear was a choice defining moment. (It doesn’t have the split paths icon like the others). Or what about when completing it with another person… if they choose to advance to the next step they automatically accept the choice the instance owner made, if they want to pick a different choice they have to do the previous one over again.

I want medium armor that arent trench coats, and heavy armor that arent tin cans :D
Maybe some equipable underwear that replaces the default one, or dyes for underwear :o.

The hat is from cultural light armor, the pants look close too, although they are a bit different.

I just want to see a return of a lot of the armor skins from GW1. Sigh It’s been a year and still all we have are the Krytan (very nice), Primeval (also nice) and Profane (freaking hideous) skins. Also, what’s up with the price disparity between these and the newer skins?

GW1 weapon and armor skins. I have a hard time finding a decent looking bow skin for my Ranger for example. What wouldn’t i give for a Silverwing or Tormented bow…or a Tormented shield for my warrior.

And armor…we got 3 skins from GW1 one can buy, why not a few more? There were so many nice armor skins in GW1, i’d rather have Drakescale instead of endless variations of trenchcoats. Not to speak of light armor…an Obsidian armor skin – i’d buy that instantly.

And town clothes that don’t look like they belong into another game or are just meant to look funny.

I don’t mind spending 4000 gems just to transfer my legendary weapons to another toon. I am sure alot of players would too. Or maybe a mystic forge receipe like new black lion item + 50 mystic coins + 50 skills points + legendary to make it account bound.

A way to gift account upgrades. I would love to be able to gift my wife and friends character slots or bank upgrades, not just items.

I’d personally love to see some nice casual town clothings, like the one from Wintersday.

Evon Gnashblade backpack. He’s the founder of BLTC, and they already sell charr backpacks. Why wouldn’t he do this? It makes perfect sense! Just stick his campaign coat on the charr backpack model and color him black and white.

Hmmm… I’d really like to see more hairstyle options, including curly/kinky hair options for humans.

Also, I’d be very happy to get more Guild Wars 1 armor skins (maybe even some of the old hero armors that we all longed for but could never wear) in the store. I was severely disappointed in most of the armor designs in GW2 and I’d love to have the option of buying something a little less gaudy.

And +1 to being able to gift account upgrades.

we need special racial armors , especially a non clipping take into account horns/tails/ears armor for Charr.
a new plant armor for sylvari, that shows off the glow more.

Instead of having black lion claims tickets that only ppl who have alot of Gems or even more gold to get those pretty weapons, just have them on the TP for people to purchase. Atleast then I wouldn’t feel like a total loser with my 801 gems that took me a week to earn thru gold tranfers :/

More people spend 10 bucks and give up. So many people will be like “oh 20 bucks for limited weapon skins. SURE!” Make major bank.

You lose out on the obsessive people who keep spending and praying. But you make up more than enough from the masses tempted.

ALSO! Biiig gold sync for anyone who turns gold into gems, keeping a nice and healthy economy!

I’m not economist but I think this is pretty win/win!
