Yesterday i was doing a dungeon (i was the one who opened and the one who started the LFG) and when i and the party members reached a certain point, we had a tiny discussion about how to fight the boss and guess what happened?

I got kicked!

I was the one with the accesss to the explorable mode, i was the one who started the LFG and i was kicked!

How the hell is this even fair? Why don’t we have leader of the party again?

I had a tiny feeling that something bad would happen because the people that joined me were kinda rude and they were acting like we were doing some kinda of ultra speed run with a time limit for a world record or some bs like that. But i would never imagine that they could be so kittening low and act like kittenbags, kicking me.

Please, bring back leader of the party.

The leader was removed because it was even more unfair for a group to get through to the end of a dungeon and have the leader disconnect (ultimately closing the dungeon) or leaving, or anything similar before the others had a chance to get their loot. Now, as long as one member of the party are in the dungeon, it will not close, regardless of anyone that leaves the group, thus getting rid of that nuisance.

There were many posts asking for changes to the party leader system.

It is unfortunate that that happened to you, but it isn’t really the fault of the system, just the fault of the players. The only thing you can do is block them for your own pleasure, or only join groups you know aren’t acting like low idiots.

For future reference it’s a good idea to make sure your LFG message clearly states what type of run you’re doing and to double check everyone knows this before starting. A lot of people have a tendency to assume the majority of players are like them and so groups that don’t specify otherwise will be doing the type of run they prefer.

Once you’ve got your full group and you’re about to load into the dungeon or pick a path just say something like “So we’re doing P1, skipping some trash but doing all boss fights with no stacking, ok?” or whatever your preference is.

“Leader” never existed. There was instance owner but that is just a matter who ran up to the entrance first.

Yeah, there never was a leader per se, it was whoever the servers determined who entered first. I certainly would like a true leader with only them having kick privileges.

Every system has a way to abuse it. There is no good answer to this but suck it up and move on.

this was literally why I stopped doing pug dungeons. I might do a fractal 50 now and then still, but this ruined it. I always tried to be the one opening it, if I were in a pug group. Now i never go with out at least 3 guildies.
