As akamon said there are some pretty good people that are up to date with invites. Over hear there are more awesome folks to talk to.

@wildcode Some of us here are pretty much nocturnal and come on at odd timings so even though no one else is currently in the same server as you, you can still join in the guild chat . However, if you want to go map running with someone from the guild you can hop to servers like ET and IoJ which has quite a number of guildies there.
Alternatively, you could wait for guesting .

Butttt. on the bright side – a bunch of us love dungeons and would help you out no matter what server we are in. I think i kind of babbled off topic but uh yeah.

It’s nice to see the ever growing amount of members in this guild, it’s a great group of people. I say welcome to you all and I hope you find it as lovely an experience as I have.

This guild sort of spawned from people wanting to be friendly and help one another. It wasn’t even started AS a guild, but a thread where people could find like minded people in the game. As stated before, we have people across many servers, and time zones. Unfortunately, I am sure there are gaps, which you have apparently discovered. When Nottsgman and I started, there was no one else active on Isle of Janthir, but we invited friends and random people we met and enjoyed playing with. This is one option for you. We came for the social aspect. We had a guild and had intended to stay with it. Now we only rep XIII. You can join up to four guilds, representing them at different times. This is another option. Also, we will not be offended if you were to seek out another guild. We understand we cannot be a perfect match for everyone.
I am not sure what you think we need to reorganize. We are not a super structured, live by a calendar type of guild. We are more like a huge family (compete with silly bickering about whether pink is a quality color) If you could perhaps PM me, or Glitch or one of the other leaders (you will see them in game as Leader, Founder or Tribune) perhaps we can be of more help to you.

Kit summed it all up very nicely. The ‘guild’ was spawned as many folks said they could not simply keep up with the influx of posts from this thread.

You can either try again and stick with it or I recommend that you could find a guild that is concentrated on your server only to definitely find others to explore with.

It is a very family oriented thing where we can have a place to hang out. There is a more organised structure now however it is for social players so I tend to not keep it as structured as serious.

I do agree the lack of guesting is hitting this pretty hard but we’ll still continue to grow and do our best with what we have. I thought at most we would have guesting 2 months after release but Anet thought it would be better to carry on and have Server WvW hopping and introduce stupid Fractals. This I find annoying, with all this emphasis on social and camaraderie it’s not even their, thing is they had it on the BW still don’t know why it was there if it had problems.

I was playing on Henge of Denravi, and for the longest time it was just me and Aluna Darklady there, so I feel your pain. This is a cross-server guild, and we don’t have a lot of people on all servers. I joined another server guild and split my time between the Legion and that one. LoH guild chat was more active than the server guild though, so whenever I was soloing I rep’d LoH.

If you want, you can try to grow the guild on your server. Get some guild bonuses up and running, then use them to advertise the guild. Do events / JPs with other people and when you find a nice person talk with them about the Legion. Or you can do what I did, and switch to server with more Legionites on it.

As many hae already said, we are a cross-server, mostly social guild. We started out here on the Players Helping Players forum, just chatting with each other. We decided to make it into a guild. Since it is cross-server, and there are lots of servers, there are a few servers that don’t have very many players in-guild. That’s changing… When I joined a few weeks ago, I was the third Eredon Terrace player. Now I think we’re up to seven or eight.

The Legion is a guild that’s really hoping for guesting – that’s when we can really break out and help each other out! In the meantime, we just provide a fun place for people to chat ingame and get questions answered. We also do some dungeon running, which at the moment is the only thing you can run cross-server.

The Legion doesn’t require you to represent all the time, so you’re welcome to find a server-specific guild to join, and you can be part of both. Also, as I mentioned, the Legion is steadily gaining members, so you’re bound to find someone on your server before too long – especially if you try and recruit some people! But at our heart, we’re just a ragtag band of friendly, supportive people… You decide for yourself whether that’s what you’re looking for in a guild or not.

Active: Approx. 12pm – 6pm, sometimes later, sometimes earlier (I has sleep disorder, so it varies much).
Additional Comments: I live in Florida, USA, I only speak one language – English, I am 20 years old, I have no job in real-life, no life in real-life, and I rarely am off of the computer. I am very shy, and relatively new to Guild Wars 2. I would like a girl to chat with while leveling, doing jumping puzzles, etc. I am still searching for that special someone, but due to past experience I am fearful of attempting to do so in real-life. Also, I am more of a casual player and have played MMOs before (wow), but have never really gotten to cap level in them. I am hoping to with this one though, because I feel I can really enjoy GW2, seeing as how it suits my play style really well. And I’ve only just started playing, brought the game two days ago. I am a complete newbie, so please bare with me. Also, wanted to say that this is a really fantastic idea!

gonna have to test it out soon. last night,a fter crafting it, it was past bedtime bahaha so had to peace.

there’s this other small bug in the winterland JP, where sometimes, not sure what triggers it, if you get hit by a snowball, you remain flat on the ground. even after being transported to the start of the JP heh. you can still jump too lol tried it that way. didn’t end well (ony thing is though, to everyone else, you’re normal looking upright haha)

So I put stuff in a forge and ended up with a griffon plushie. What exactly is it good for,,just collection?

is it the mini? yarr, it’s pretty much just for collecting lol. [added: and to be incredibly cute! XDDD]

if you open your collectibles tab, there should be one for mini’s. you can double click it while on any given map, and it’ll follow you around. if you change maps, zone, etc it’ll be “stowed” and you gotta double click again. only thing is though, if you hit deposit all collectibles (after farming, etc) the mini will get deposited too.

in think unless if you put it in a slot of any invisible bag.

@AdelaisAer I am an ele, and I will help you in any way I can. There are many other helpful eles in here, too. Yes, I think it is difficult to play until you get the hang of it. I did a LOT of research, reading forums and watching videos on-line to help me get the knack for it.

My husband, Erec, is not on as often as I am, but I really think he will benefit from this guild. He is not as sociable as I am, but I have a feeling he’ll get more outgoing after meeting all you friendly people. :-) I don’t make a habit of speaking for him, but I’ll thank you all for the friendly welcomes on his behalf, knowing that it will take him forever to figure out the forums. ;-)

@wildcode…everyone has pretty well said what needs to be said about this guild. As Gilosean said, it was just us two on HoD, and after moving, it was just me, at least, as far as I know. But I have been able to interact perfectly well with other guildees, and have done Tixx runs, and hopefully will be doing some dungeon runs in the future. Might try a little more PvP as well. So you’ll just have to decide if it fits you or not; I don’t feel the guild will be able to change for you on this one. It’s pretty accommodating, but no doubt won’t be able to please every type of player. This is laid-back, casual, family atmosphere as other members have said.

Perfect for me. :-) (I’m gushing. I know it. I’ll stop. ;-)

@Vlawde…what do you MEAN what is the griffin plushie for? It’s adorableness, of course! (It’s a mini-pet. Just a collector’s thing, as far as I know. Probably an achievement out there relating to it I’m sure.)

I’m WAY behind on this one, but decided to go back and read through the thread, and I want to comment on the Math discussion. I LOVE math! I took advanced statistics in college simply as an elective, i.e. for fun, got a better grade than the math majors, and I’m so sad I’m not in school anymore…because once out of practice the brain forgets. :-( I can’t describe the sense of accomplishment of working through a calc problem, taking up to a page and a half and getting the answer at the end.

I should have majored in Math but…well, I didn’t. <sigh>

@Feralera – welcome as well!!!! heh, love the names. all my main and alts also play off “aka” ; )) and the only spanish i know is.. mas papas fritas, por favor! it hink that may be all i will ever need. ; )) and you are definitely more than welcome to this guild! know that currently it’s mainly cross-server, which was the intention. more of a hang out for like-minded folk. but there are some servers that have a larger presence. if anything stop by the guild and chat with whoever is on! if not, can try cross-server dungeon-ing. and most of us have been patiently waiting for guesting.

@Aluna – I LOVE MATH TOO!D statistics was s uper fun. i know what you mean about spending pages worth figuring out a math problem, and bam. your double underlined digits is in fact one of the choices if it’s MC. lol. my days date back all the way to highschool though, where i remember my friends and i voluntarily spend sleepless nights working through problems for our AP classD then at uni, had a teacher that was just.. we just didn’t click. and so my love for math was lost as well… sad i let that happen, but goes to show what a great mentor , professor can do (the one in highschool was AMAZING and we could all tell she loved math herself, which in turn, rubbed off on us too)

moving along now.. heh, who’s stopped the Toypocalypse!! kinda crazy how they make you group with PUGs for the final event of this Wintersday. wonder what made them go that route. have yet to try it, but looking forward to it! nothing like a little fun tower defense in gw!!!

I agree with Kit! I’m not always horrible with math… I either completely excel, or completely fail – there is no middle ground. But a lot of the time, I completely fail. xD For me, it depends on the instructor.

Thank to all the folks who responded to my post and directed me to this link. Im excited to link up with some people and really learn how to play this game. Im treating it too much like an ARPG which im finding does not work so well in an mmo.

Happy Holidays, one and all. Forgive my absence of late… I have been feeling puny for the last couple of weeks and that makes prepping for Christmas all the harder. Here’s hoping Santa brings you what you want, need and or/deserve.

I would just like to mention that my signature, which names my server, is somehow being seen as a suggestion for folks to transfer here. I am getting emails asking what guilds people should join. While I have been describing to them my tiny family/friends guild to them, they understandably want a more dynamic experience. I just don’t know many people outside of my immediate guild(s).

The inclusion of my server in my sig was intended purely as informational.

Welcome! Not only is GW2 not an ARPG, it isn’t even a typical MMO. It’s very dynamic compared to most MMOs… And it requires some getting used to, even for MMO veterans. So do not fret – you will learn! And like I said, ask all of the specific questions you can think of. Did you want an invitation to the guild? It’s a fairly informal, social, supportive cross-server guild – you may not find a ton of people on your server (but you might, it depends). Either way, you will find a bunch of people chatting in-game that can help you with whatever you need.

Hi everyone! I’m Nos, or Zal in game mostly and I’d be interesting in joining the guild. The one I’m in now is more for end game players and even though I got the game when it first came out I havent really started playing till about 2-3 weeks ago, since my college classes ended. My server is Sea of Sorrows and I’ve been looking for someone to level and explore with since I first got the game. I had some friends that were supposed to get it but in my Asura heart I know that’s not for a while. For some reason no one answers my questions and when I need help no one come to my aid, guildies or others. I’m just looking for people I can rely on and talk with. No one wants to play an mmo by themselves afterall. Im on the east coast and mostly on in the afternoon. Level with me

I just did my first dungeon (with some cool people from the Union), and it was a lot of fun! Except for the freakish nightmare dogs. They were like Hounds of the Baskervilles in game form.

Comments: I am really not very far in GW2 at this point, ALMOST lvl 20. I really enjoyed GW1 campaign, did a little bit of fraction farming and all that. I seem to kind of fail at being a necro in this one though, ha..but it has been my preferred profession after trying the rest for a bit.

I am a personal lines insurance agent (can write business throughout the US) ankittenaking a semester break from my studies toward a Computer Engineering (BS) degree..so if anyone has any insurance questions, would like some help on Calculus, C++ or Logic Design, or really just need someone to talk to, please feel free to contact me, ha
Also, I tend to laugh at things or chuckle after I state things pretty often IRL, which will explain the reasoning behind my “ha” after every other in-game comment.
