Thanks for the welcome, Akamon! I’m actually on EST. I think I randomly chose SoS. I had no idea it was Oceanic!

So what’s the next step? Do I get a guild invite to Legion of Honor? How do I get to group with folks? Sorry, still new to the game and (typically) confused. ;-)

:DDD and lol, all good! it’s not an official Oceanic server but i know a lot of my friends from HK initially joined SoS, as well as lot of friends from Aussie heh. am sure it has a large NA presence as well. ; ))) plus, this iniviative is mainly cross server as well – people across ALL of Tyria. but was just wondering heh ; )))

in regards to the guild, i’m not in-game now (at work still lol), but someone should be able to send you an invite soon! and i’ll check when i ge tback home to make sure you do. and after that, you can join the guild and feel free to represent whenever! so you’re not required to be part of the guild. but it gives all of us in here common ground to at least chat with one another and see who’s onlines, etc. : ))

Hey I just stumbled across this thread and found it very interesting. I think it is a good initiative to bring players together with the lack of a ingame LFG system.

I have seen a number of oceanic players posting here and mentioning difficulties about finding people to play with. I myself have had these difficulties in other games where I was involved in NA Based guilds.

For any oceanic, australian, or asian timezone players I suggest you check out Aggroculture http://aggr-gaming.com. Aggroculture is a SEA and oceanic gaming community made up of around 100 active players. We are PvX which means we do PvE, WvW, Dungeons and sometimes SPvP.

Maybe both? =P I think the guild you are running could be great for networking with other oceanic players and players on Jade Quarry.

Hey whats up everyone! :P First of all Happy new year to ya’ll and a lil back story bout myself
So ‘sup Im Konrad and i was exploring Tyria for a while now getting bored and more bored by the passing days although i didnt explore nearly a quarter of the things that Tyria haves in store of us.
I searched for guilds far and wide in dark places in light places, high and low BUT it wasnt an active search for adventure it was a search for a place to hang by and enjoy the moment yet on my journey i felt like everyone was rushing things not allowing to clamly enjoy the game and have fun with each others so i got bored in my journey a bit more thats when i stumbled across the idea of looking in the forums :P
And both this topic and the Topic of Glitch running dungeons with new players caught my eye. By reading those walls i thought "Heck let’s try and post something maybe it’s cool if il join them aswell" so here I go thats my post and a lil bit of character info

Hey all, I’d be interested in joining the Operation Union’s guild.

I just returned to the game after a small break due to work and time restraints however when I returned I found that my previous guild had disbanded and people split off to other servers.

I am currently going to level up my Ranger (Just started) but have a lvl 80 Mesmer and Necro. If anyone is interested in leveling up together on Tarnished Coast, just shoot me an in game tell or email.

Dan, you aren’t alone. there are a lot of altoholics amoung use. Some more than others…. lol we tend to tease some of them cos they can’t level ANY of them. It is one big guild, split first by NA/EU (cos we can join for dungeons in our same region) and then by Server (each server can spend influence differently) but ONE guild chat. Very friendly bunch.

Kombinerka Glad you found us. A lot of us like dungeons, many of us who have more exp will take newbies with us, if for no other reason than to train up more dungeon runners. feel free to ask in chat.

Goobers, sorry to hear about your guild. It does happen. We have several on TC and I am sure they will be thrilled to have another.
