Thank you! I hope ANet will keep this iterative approach and give us a balance patch every 4-6 weeks. It doesn’t need to be a complete and long patch. It can be just like this, number tweaks for a few broken things. Then they can additionally shake up the meta before each League.

The masters of weaponry should have the unique ability of landing all attacks successfully (aside from invulnerability).

Warriors got issues with self sustaining, not dealing damage…
The changes look good…but I don’t think they’re enough. Not necessarily that rev/mes need to be nerfed more (shaves are good), but there’s also no moves to help the professions that are pretty much MIA from the meta.
This also looks more like a bug fix patch than a balance patch:
Durability Runes – Bug
Temple Meditations – Doesn’t seem like this was ever intended
Echo of Memory – Legit balance
Demonic Defiance – Legit balance
Radiant Revival – Legit balance
Coalescense of Ruin – Over 5 target cap on AoE sounds like a bug

This can’t happen when Warrior has such hard-hitting moves. The attacks aren’t always easy to land, I know, but that doesn’t mean you can remove all counter-play.
Anyway, good changes for now, but hopefully they’ll squeeze in a couple more.

That’s why it would be restricted to Signet of Might, which has room for counterplay and windows of opportunity built in.

I main(probably? more like 50/50) a warrior and nnnnooo.
action oriented pvp means action oriented. we need to move away from absolute builds, not toward them.
signet of might already ignores blocks and reflects, why are people suggesting that we force feed people damage as good design?

The power creep in this game is beyond ridiculous. This is a step in the right direction. Keep nerfing everything.

Radiant Revival (Herald Major trait): uppon rezing a downed ally, both of you gain 2sec of resistance.
reasoning:
this trait at it’s current state is broken. not negates all down cleave it adds it up as a heal effect. revs can quickness rez already. resistance is revenant themed so it would fit to rev’s rez trait. also it gonna stay a more than viable choice

Sounds kind of silly to ask this, but the patch notes mention a reduction to the block duration of Echo of Memory. Will the triggered skill Deja Vu also have this change or remain at the current 2.25s?
Well, I have to admit I was wrong although these seem a little lite to me something is better then nothing. A golf clap is required I think.
Well, I guess it’s better than nothing. Capping on well of pregog getting skipped over is questionable though.
Why is Withdraw still missing the 10% base healing buff it supposedly got in the June 23rd patch?

I considered the game to be far from boring in the first year or so after launch and considered it to be demanding much more skill than it does now. I think massive tuning down would definitely help in this regard

If you think this will fix mesmer, you are wrong. Mesmer will still be OP so don’t worry too much.
One might say its better late than never, but it ISN’T. Best description for this paltry “balance update” is too little, too late.
Sorry, damage is done, leagues are messed up already. Your schedule is amateurish in a game with aspirations for being competitive, if you truly want the game to be competitive, you need to be doing balance or at least micro balance patches weekly, this would be one of those micro patches, not something you should even be tossing about has being a balance change, it addresses a couple of issues mostly on a couple of classes, while you have two classes unable to even be competitive (thief and warrior), and core builds need to be on par with elite specs, otherwise you failed grossly.

Increase and focus on Damage over Time(Condition) is a big mistake in every pvp game. That will make the game boring to play then boring to watch. You also need to make more and more def and heal skill on it. At last, make the game hard to balance. It work like a c~a~n.c~e~r. This is a normal common sense. How your team can make this happen!?

2 condi REVS together is what truly made Mallyx unbeatable. (Mesmer needed a nerf, not surprised there) I agree Mallyx needed balancing, but why overnerf it? A single Revenant 1 on 1 running full condi wasn’t that hard to beat.
But seriously DH? Again escapes a nerf. The only reason Rev and mesmer were considered a priority was because of the QQ of the meta build.

Well first off, it’s not just because there are two of them (a lot of classes are stronger in groups…), but they’re fundamentally flawed in their design and over-reliance on perma-Stab and perma-Resistance. This was a change that needed to happen. It sucks that Mallyx will have issues competing now, but it needs to happen. Right now, he can’t even work well unless you run Corruption + Retribution + Herald with specific traits. How is that healthy for the Revenant, let alone PvP?
Let them tone down the more troublesome aspects and hopefully then they can look at Mallyx more carefully in the full patch.

Where are the OP DH builds in Tournaments? Oh right, Revs, Eles, Scrappers, etc pushed them out (still a viable 5th mind you).
Can’t handle a DH in SoloQ? Get better at your class or blame your team comp you’re with.

DH keys: f2 and f3 are so broken that you want to cry.. I’m ruby in pvp, but I see why ppl avoid it in professional league… f2 often don’t even give heal, and to have shield with f3 you have to press it literally 3 times, and there is no lag!!!! I often play with reaper to, and because of that I press 3 times f1 on him, and get out in microseconds of reaper state….
So just kitten up about DH how OP is!

Made a reaper and i keep putting myself out of shroud because i am so used to spamming f abilities on guard.
