Then certain maps would never ever be played…I am against. Every once in a while I want to play a certain map that no one else wants. Maybe if it receives less than 2 votes…but 4 is too much.

I’m tired of being forced to play Foefire three out of every five matches. Unfortunately I have to deal with it because that’s what the majority wants.

I don’t see a problem in letting the minority play a map they like on the rare occasion they actually get lucky.

Plus as the fellow above me said, play ranked and you’ll never see Skyhammer or Courtyard again. I’ve started playing unranked specifically to get access to those maps again.

Yeah play ranked, I was thinking of your contribution effecting ranked. I don’t care much about unranked. Unranked is where you are suppose to just go and have a good time. If you get a troll map in unranked you just laugh it off.

But if what your suggesting goes through which I doubt will, then we will never see battle of kyhlo again. The average vote for kyhlo is around 2-3.

The way it works is this:
You pick a map.. other people pick a map. The semi-circle gets larger the more people pick a map. The arrow spins around randomly and lands randomly somewhere… if most people pick a map, their semi-circle will be largest and the chance to play the map will be the highest. 8 people pick a map? 80% to play that map.
There is, however, that 20% that a different map will be picked…
It’s as simple as that.

Well skyhammer courtyard and kyhlo do suck. Spirit watch isn’t that good either unless you have rangers.

Here’s an idea how about instead of dishonored they just remove a players chance to vote for X number of matches.

It’s impossible for me to get dishonored, because I don’t really “AFK”… I play, but with extreme mediocrity.

I just move around enough and hit people enough to not get dishonored, but I don’t try to win at all.

So you are participating in ‘match fixing’ there is a faction of forum thought that believes that should be ban worthy, I could care less.

If you don’t want to play certain maps there are two options, ranked or get yourself a custom arena where only the maps you like come up.

Whatever my boy Jasher wants I support fully.
