I just want to add my opinion here
I think it would be a really good idea to have a progressing title system. Instead of a new title every season for getting to legend have a title for 1 legend rank achieved, 2, 3… etc. This would allow for more progression and a sense of accomplishment knowing that not everyone has the same title as you.
For some context: Say a player got legend every single time for 4 seasons. Lets then say that another player didn’t play pvp at all for the first 3 seasons but then got legend on the 4th season. Both players would be awarded the same title under the current system which is unfair to the player who played all 4 seasons because they can’t show 4 titles at the same time. With my suggested system the player that got to legend 4 times would have a title named something like “Legend Of The Mists” while the player who only got to legend once would only have “Primordial Legend”.
All in all allowing for a progressing title would help distinguish devoted and dedicated players from those who only played one season.

Probably titles linked to the name of the legendary backpack for that year. Ascended Legend. for example for this year.
If the backpack for the next 4 seasons is called The Reaver and sports blades that wrap around the players body (which would be SERIOUSLY cool btw with the bladed armor set >.>) and features bladed wings when gliding. (cough wishlist) it could be Legendary Reaver or Reavers’ Legend.

Let’s be honest here, season 1 was crap both in terms of the meta (bunker mesmer and all that) and in terms of the fact that literally anyone could grind games to legend. I would not want this at all. Title for reaching legend 3/4 times (assuming 4 total seasons) would probably be fine, however.
Solo Legend=~80% (?) of ranked games to legendary division are solo.
Duo Legend=~80% (?) of ranked games to legendary division are duo que.
Phalanx Legend=~80% (?) of ranked games to legendary division played in a 3-5 man.

Yeah, Considering this would be an aggregator title for s1,2,3,4 legendary division of this year, I think something linked to “Year of Ascension” it would be fine.
Something capable to make this title recognizable for this specif year of pvp leagues.
It’s the year of the ascension, so something who makes the idea you completed the ascension in an amazing way.

4th season = Legendary Salt Hero
3rd season = Salty Legend
2nd season = King Salty
1st season = Saltiest of Salties

As opposed to having a different title for each season, why isn’t it simply a progression of titles per the number of seasons in which players have achieved the Legendary division?
After all, isn’t the entire point of league progression the prestige it offers?

Frankly, with attitude some ppl thinking themselves the next best things since slice bread because of that achievement I think Legendary kittenbag might be appropriate.
