According to ArenaNet.

Rank queue is generally more competitive than Unranked. But no, there really isn’t any incentives.

When/where did they say that? I didn’t see it in the “Thanks for participating in the Second Ladder Test Season” blog post.

Can anyone confirm this? And if they actually said that, then why does the leaderboard still say:

But the leaderboard was (relatively) functional long before they introduced “seasons.” The end of a season doesn’t imply the end of the leaderboard.

My question is, when/where did ArenaNet actually say that the leaderboard has been deactivated until further notice?

In theory, there should be a lb reset for off-season.

But i hope they’re working on the final league lb system and they’ll implement directly the new system.

The actual lb in off season is really useless.

Why does it matter? It’s been deactivated for a long while now. Surprising that you’re just now noticing.

The leaderboard is a joke ever since the grandiose december reset. Who cares that PvP players would like to see their name crawl up some ladder…

I think it will be after the new core specializations are launched , lets hope for Solo/Team Q and Solo/Team leader-boards too

I had no idea the leaderboard was intentionally taken down…I just thought I was bugged. =P

I played 10 games in the last week, and there’s still no update on the leaderboard… I don’t really understand why. (And it’s the same thing for some people I know)

Yes, they did in fact announced it previously. No, it has not been reactivated. Yes, they will inform us when it does.

They should really have this information stated on the leaderboard page… It would really save people some confusion.
Just a simple “BETA” splash.
or just pull the boards down until They’re actually indicative of something

But they should really disabled the PvP Leaderboards. Looks stupid to click on something that does not work without any information on this page.

I’m a returning player, been playing spvp for the past week or two. I kept looking at the leaderboards hoping that I would at least have a % but it hasn’t shown me on there yet. Why isn’t this told to people? I can’t find any warning that the leaderboards stopped working.

It’s probably a good thing, it means they’ll introduce the new system and the beta phase (after 2 test) is over.

Leaderboards have not stopped working, they are simply frozen since the last test season ended.
As far as we know, Anet has plans of revamping how leaderboards will work and until those changes are made, they may or may not reset them.
No specific date has been provided as to when it will get reset.

Thanks for the info about leaderboards being currently frozen. I just wish they had that information posted on the actual leaderboards. Doubly so since what is actually posted says “last updated on” with the current date and on the last hour.

Posting it on the leaderboard page should be incredibly easy, and it fixes a lot of confusion for players, particularly people participating in ranked for the first time in a while (or ever).

why is there no leaderboard???
it couldnt take that much time to reset it. All pvp is currently unranked without a board. I love pvp, but like to see progress on the board!

I can’t really understand it either. Why didn’t they just leave the very old leaderboard, before they did all that crap changes, which lead now to a state like vanilla wow pvp, where top tier means just no real life.

I wish for an addon, which includes an mmr based leaderboard. I would buy that

hi i started playing again after a long break these last 2 days i played some ranked spvp around 10 matches but i still cannot view a percentile or anything like i can,on the achievment tableaderboard , can anyone help?

There is no season atm, so no leaderboards.

I know this may be a dumb question, but after returning to the game after a year it is like starting new again.

Is there a player search on the Leaderboards or a way to see my own rankings?

I have to be honest, the stats/info in Leaderboards is lackluster to say the least.

No leader boards havent updated since the middle of may I think its because Anet might do something with them and guild rankings and stuff but I have no idea why.

to check actual update time scroll over score with your mouse the update time at the top is broken.

I was wondering when will I be able to see myself on the leaderboards? Do I need to be some higher rank in-game to qualify for leaderboards? I played around 100 overall ranked arenas in last few weeks with decent win/loss ratio. On a side note, could anyone explain to me or direct me to explanation of these points on leaderboards? Thanks

I played about 20 matches (ranked arena) for the last 24 hours and can’t see myself on leaderboards. What am I missing?

Also Ranked doesn’t have Skyhammer and Coutyard.
