First question is Yes, if you’re infront of our spawn point with multiple ballistas and arrow carts, then I believe that’s camping. Maybe I’m wrong.
Second question: No there are 4 exits. Mag BL, CD BL, EBay BL, and Lion arch.

Can no longer quote this as it would appear to have been deleted. Shame as it has to be the funniest thing I’ve read in a long time. We are Aeterna btw. I fully encourage you to report us more for killing you in the future. I believe his hacking gives him 3600 range. Just an fyi.

Thanks to all CD players up top in puzzle today for letting me stay alive up top to knock about 15~ people off, I was laughing so hard everytime.

15 ppl? Its cool if its true story. Otherwise..BUTTHURT

I knocked off about 15 people and killed around 20 or so, took about 8 SS at various points. I was able to get stealth over and over, only 3 of them actually went after me each time Id go back to stealth and I finished all of them. If all people up there actually went after me Id have only knocked off 2-3 guys at best.

The sad part is, when we were up against Tarnished Coast all they did was complain about how much CD camped the Jump Puzzle. So this week we let people live and look what happens…..

Pretty sure I heard tons of CD were camping Ehmry in the JP a few days ago, so yeah. Don’t get too excited about that.

Yes, because it’s not like a bunch of Ehmry bay camp your JP everyday. Oh wait they do!

And they can’t win regular fights so they have to sit underneath the waterfull and pick off people after the fall.

Always see people from “Madcast gaming” camping hard, but never see them in actual WvW.

Yeah, you totally missed my point. I don’t care about camping, but don’t get all high and mighty about how your server doesn’t do it. Every server does it.

Maguuma went on ROIDS last night. They were all over the place in pretty big groups of 20-30 people. Good job on not giving up.

I hope that the CD people get back into WvW and not continue to let it go after building a big lead. We need a larger margin of victory so we can get some fresh competition in t3.

Two other exits out of the spawn, four entrances into the BL. Same thing. But why does anyone care about spawn camping so much? Why not take the other entrance/exit and move on? I doubt they’re doing it to badge farm because after downing one or two guys, no one else should be falling for it.

I was one of the six golems that went in. I remember you looked pretty surprised when we broke in the front door like the Kool-Aid man going “Oh yeah!” It was a good fight, you guys held on tooth & nail all evening. We originally planned to keep the pugs up north on trebs & rush south with the golems, but then the pugs moved south for whatever reason after the trebs snapped & we moved the golems North. It was honestly very close when our golems broke down on inner door at 25% we desperately built a pair of catapults and barely got in. Good fights all around though.

Well, whenever we get to t3 we get our arses royalty kicked to the point that no one cares anymore and most people don’t even bother with WvW. I for one would like to stay on this tier for one or two more weeks before we face TC, FA or Yak again.

To be honest, there were a couple people advocating against spawn killing last night, but the zerg does what the zerg wants and there is no way to control them.

Last night an EBay squad ganked me at spawn point. Whatever. I wasn’t paying attention and ran into them after they loaded… happens when you expect some level of safety between spawn and keep.

2nd time around I went out the same way. Other people gathered with me. And that gank squad got wiped by a fair match up. It is even moar funnay when the stupid people are the gank squad who has no clue how to be even moar pro @ ganking.

Seems to me that it’s coverage you need. Certainly feels like you can massively outnumber either of our servers (and thus any T4 contenders) at certain times.

Well during NA prime time we are outnumbered on all days except for Friday reset. Otherwise we can’t muster up enough forces than to cover one and a half maps.

We have a great oceanic side though. So if we were to get one to two NA wvw guilds then we stand to be very competitive and even have a chance at t2.

But that’s the deal with any server, gain a few guilds and you’ll move up it seems. Everyone is jockeying for more people.

In any case, I felt like we might move up next week but YB is staying close in t3 matchup so that made it instead of a 17 point difference on Sunday into a 33 point difference today.

I would rather make 1,000 badges a week doing minimal work so that I have siege to make dead bodies happen, instead of making dead bodies happen with no siege in order to get some.

I thought you guys were doing fine in American prime time until the business week started. Maybe I’m mistaken. But yeah, it’s some sort of numbers game either way. Kind of lame in that sense, if you care a lot about winning.

The trick to enjoying RvR long term is to not care.

That’s the sad truth. Going from being a T2/3 server, to losing so many people because they wanted to be a part of the best server. Wonder how many of them left for HoD and ET just for those servers to die out.

I think the current situation is great. No queues on any borderland, good fights, and we’re doing well enough to get good bonuses.

I had so much fun in the CD borderlands yesterday. We were able to muster a group of people who listened very well and moved quickly in both large and small groups. One squad was dedicated to the south with about ten players with a secondary group raiding everything in the north.

There were a few times when we were seiging Cragtop that we were outnumbered 2:1 or 3:1 and were either able to use the high ground and siege or quick responders to help with some if the fights; however, after we took Cragtop, the full fury or your night crew came out to defend. Really a ton of fun and great teamwork.

If it weren’t for eBay hitting our borderlands, I would have loved to stay there all night.

Why is it Maguuma?

*CD is an Asian server. This would be considered their off peak hours. Why would they want to sabotage a keep during the time they would not be able to take it?

*Maguuma was not only in the zone, but with an organized push by one of their main WvW guilds (SFD). That is opposed to Crystal Deserts presence being as close to none as possible (Did not see one Crystal Desert tag).

*Crystal Desert is so clearly in the lead, why in the world would they bother wasting time and siege on sabotage of either of the two servers? Conversely, it is still a game (albeit a long shot) between Maguuma and Ehmry Bay.

*Maguuma does not like Ehmry Bay very much. If you try to refute, just look at this, and the previous, thread.

Citizens of the Jury, when considering the evidence of Maguuma having a motive to sabotage that is vastly greater than Crystal Desert as well as when considering the general hostilities and hatred between the two servers. I hope you come back with the only logical verdict of “Guilty”. I rest my cast.

I was going to say that this is a completely valid tactic and is as funny to watch as the idiots that like to fight the home server at the cliff entrance to Godsword. However, if I have to resort to retreating back to my safe zone I certainly don’t act like a kitten while having to do it.

The only thing you’ll find Mag say about EBay is that they’re tin-foil hat whiners. It’s EBay that’s hated Mag since day 1. It started with an imaginary “alliance” with TC, then the bugged EBay garrison that they couldn’t claim back (which sucked, but it was shown to be a bug that happened purely by accident, but apparently it was our fault anyway). After that the show was basically over. We’ve been called called cheaters, trolls, gimmicky, whathaveyou since. I mean, look up Ralathar.7236’s post history some time. It’s like a love letter to goons (who barely even show up in WvW anymore btw).

I truly do recommend fully rereading this thread some time. Mag players spend all their time in here cracking jokes or trying to show sense to some tin-foil hat theory (like the current one being presented). We really don’t care that much about your server lad. It’s just something you dudes got in your head because you guys feel that way for us. But alas, Maguuma’s heart is for another.
