Alas, BG and Kain – the last few weeks have been fun, stressful, full of giggles, laughs, more then a few facepalms, and a couple of head bangs on my desk – but overall – fun. Thank you for being so gracious on the forums, so competitive in the field, and so classy overall. May your stars continue to burn bright throughout the world of WvW.

Please tell me some BG who read the forums were out at the NW tower in TCBL last night because oh my god I was laughing so hard I couldn’t concentrate and I hope you were too. We were going to mess around and catapult the tower from under the bridge. Naturally, we were caught, but not before an ele tried to slam into me and went over the cliff instead and died. That would’ve been enough and I’m sorry for my /laugh emote but it was just so amazing. Then I was trying to launch an engi off who was trying to stop us only to have 2 or 3 of my party including me feared off to our demise by a necro from above. As we are lying there dead, not 1, not 2, BUT 3 BG either jumped off on purpose or fell off the same exact cliff around our bodies one at a time. And, of course, died. Ahhh I’ll miss the kitten out of you guys. Serious shenanigans.

We ran into a bit of trouble up that way last night… Sounds very similar to what you describe. few of my guys ended up dead at the bottom of the cliff and the rest of us just as beaten up at the top. If it wasn’t us.. then the exact same thing happened to us TC really like that tower it seems. Was a good laugh trying to ninja it from them.

No video. It was just such a clusterkitten you couldn’t help but laugh. I don’t remember seeing a lot of TC but it’s possible it was the same fight. We were in north TCBL most of the night so I’m sure we ran into you and promptly turned around and ran away flailing. There were 6 of us causing mayhem.

They’ll likely be facing a depleted SoS rather than BG, though. How the tiers shape out after that will depend on how the current SoS is. T2 could look like KN/SoS/FA for awhile while SoS loses some rating, and then possibly KN/FA/TC if SoS continues to fall.

This makes me happy.

I play an Elementalist, and I’ve been in a handful engagements in that nook while trying to defend the tower. It goes one of two ways:

1. I’m totally pro and drive the invaders off. Go, me!
2. I’m fantastically derptastic and throw myself off the cliff in some epically ridiculous fashion.

I’m so relieved to see that I’m not alone in experiencing the second scenario.

Hah, shows you have no idea how FA rolls. We’ve been eagerly anticipating the hordes of KN and we’re very sad to see BG leave if we actually make it back to T2 this coming reset. We learned some good stuff fighting them a couple of weeks ago and we were really hoping to have a show ’n’tell session.

Hordes = loot bags and lols.

I’m definately gonna miss HB, you forced us raise our game considerably and I honestly think we are 2 times better than we were 3 weeks ago. I’ve never played SoS since I’ve been on Kaineng only, but I hope they still have some guilds left that can hit as hard as you do.
I don’t think getting portal bombed by any other guild will feel quite the same though

It seems confirmed that we, Blackgate will be moving to Tier1 next week, so this is my official farewell to TC/KN.

TC, Thank you for your kind attitude to create this awesome thread. (Page38 with cookies and no locked? that’s awesome!) On the field, you guys doing great fending off us and kaineng during SEA despite the low numbers you have. Still there are pretty kitten awesome guilds like PRO/Pink that we need to be cautious about. Good luck to your trip too and do spank Magumma for us.

KN, you guys really push us hard during Oceanic/SEA. WM definitely a top class guild with superstacked numbers. The way you combining every WMs, REs and the remaining guilds into one big massive zerg made our clients skill lag multiple times lol but top class guild nevertheless. kitten all your stacked necro well of deaths lol… we will miss it. Without you, there wont be any good fight during SEA. Prop to Kaineng and see you soon in tier1 hopefully?

Please accept my apologies if my post came off wrong. I have nothing but respect for the honorable players from KN. On the other hand, I was really very curious about the tactics we saw that night and why certain things happened. Looking back at the post, I feel I slightly dimmed the good aspect of this thread.
