I havent posted since reset, And i would like to thank HoD and SF for amazing fights in all the borderlands
Particularly of note VLK from HoD, i see them running in 5-10 man groups and they are always a worthwhile oponnent
PvP guild from SF, holy kitten there are alot of you :P Died sveral time running (foolishly) into that turtle, but also killing many other times. Lots of badges for all i guess!

NSP doesn’t have a huge wvw force , certainly not as big as certain people like to think. But what we do have is regular hardcore WvWers that are in there every day and know each other.

Ah, maybe the focus has more on you this week, up til now. Pretty much, until late Thursday night of last week, the only place we could hold a tower for more than an hour (at least, that’s the way it seemed – this is definitely an exaggeration) was by attacking NSP BL.

EB was always locked down by SF, SF zergs circled our BL, and – occasionally – we’d get a few brave souls to take something in SF BL… for about fifteen minutes.

At this point, I’m just curious who – if either of our servers – will get pushed down next week. Hoping SF rises and GoM is able to make a comeback; miss the more even fights. SF domination is sucking the fun from WvW, to the point that I actually haven’t been in since the reset.

That fight gave me a headache and caused more than one of my guild members to rage quit. Until last Friday I have never had so many stacks of confusion in my life. Died just trying to get rid of them. Sure was a painful fight for sure.

No :c I don’t usually appear on reset. Only the odd occasions due to my timezone.
Fighting guilds like Seed, PvP, KING and others which I may have left out are what is fun about SF ^__^

Guess it doesn’t help that we dropped to Medium (and have only now just risen to High) population since you guys moved up a tier, while everyone else has consistently remained at Very High. :/

Haha, I hate being on the receiving end of a shatterbomb mesmer. Which is probably why I enjoy playing one so much, to see all those bodies drop seconds after I hit F2 makes me laugh.

We were running a guild event so we had a lot of PvE’ers I was commanding around trying to show the ropes to and have fun with. We kept getting wiped by a massive NSP zerg, I was trying really hard not to get frustrated lol. We had to change our tactics quite a bit to accomplish anything, it was a fun learning experience.

the problems hod faces are myriad, but the biggest one since SF moved up is a bunch of people deciding to just stay out of wvw.

instead they stand around LA and say things like, “i wish i didn’t care about wvw so much, because that score makes me want to cry” .

and i /facepalm … and bite my tongue … and am reminded why i stay out of LA as much as possible.

Yep, what Vox said…Most of our core fully expects an uphill fight if we do ever move up, many of us were hoping we would get put through the paces a bit more in this tier so we could work on some stuff and everyone could kinda get eased out of the whole: Show up and win, mentality….The true bad thing about this system is that the more you are winning (like the role we are on) the more pile into WvW, but once you start losing the more pile out to PVE, other games, etc…

It creates a vicious cycle for both sides….There is absolutely no doubt in my mind we have a ton of fairweather people on right now, and that is cool hopefully some of them like it, learn, and want to stay. Not sure how many will admit this, but I think we could actually be doing slightly better right now, but with the influx of added people our zergs develop the attention span of a gnat….Most of the time we are trying to get them to stop PVPing people at the gate long enough to run supply, etc….We have GOT to get better at some facets of the game, that we simply did not have to worry with before.

It will pass once we move out. ET and FC had the same problem, one of the many reasons the score was not that close in those matchups.

Once we move out of T8 a large migration occurred from PvE to WvW. I hope with GoM taking a large lead now that it does not reverse for them.

There have been some great fights, both this week and last, against some very memorable guilds for me; as sad as I was that GoM left, taking RH with them, I’ve had the pleasure of fighting guilds such as [KING] and [PvP] who, while less of a small-man force of amazing like [RH] was, have been a blast to fight. NSP, too, has guilds that I absolutely love encountering, namely [Os] and [TFG].

As some of you, on all servers, might be aware, there has been some drama involving one of our commanders. She was bribed to transfer over to NSP, and, despite whatever she may claim her intentions to be, we take our server pride very seriously on HoD. As such, we consider what she did to be selling out and, most obviously, made her a kill on sight target in WvW. Apparently, she assumed that this would not happen and threw a hissy fit, deciding that she was transferring to NSP permanently and making sure that she would push us down to T8, so that HoD will “feel her wrath.”

I’ve lost a lot of respect for [XOXO] after tonight. Not for inviting her into your guild, not for bribing her to your server, but for joining in on her theatrics. You’re talking about a girl who claims that she trained all of the commanders on the server. The person who thinks she’s the kitten and would often drop in to voice comms in order to do nothing but complain about how everyone else is bad and she’s absolutely fantastic. About the girl who is so afraid of us focus firing her for stabbing us in the back that she’s scurrying for gold so she can buy a makeover kit. I’m sure you’ll soon grow as tired of her drama queen act as we all were, but she was still one of us, so until then, I hope you don’t mind that all of HoD will be hunting you.

Ok first of all, she got invited to the guild while still on HOD because Stalagta asked me and I quote “Dank is it ok if I invite Selene to guild, she has something she wants to say in guild chat”. What she had to say was simply “I <3 you guys”. We then spent awhile that night dueling each other after which I logged off.

The next night she suddenly appeared on NSP – Nobody in XOXO knew about it and I only found out when I noticed her say something in map chat. When I asked her she said it was temporary and her guild would be moving to Dragonbrand on Saturday.

Thirdly, I heard rumor that we offered her a Legendary to xfer and join us. Which if anyone knows us at all is utterly ridiculous. Nobody- in XOXO PVE’s EVER.. We have I think one person in our guild with a Legendary in the first place.

tl/sr(too long shoulda read) – XOXO had nothing to do with her xfer. We did not offer her anything to do it, nor know she was going to. We didn’t even know she had until she was spotted in /m chatting – regardless if she wants to stay , we welcome her.

The only real question on my mind i had this morning when SF trashed HoD-BL was
“why in the name of kitten are HoD taking stuff from my borderlands?”
I honestly dont see the rationale in leaving your homeworld and invading a 3rd party homeworld while you are being invaded yourselves by a completely different server

Apparently, writing a well-thought out analysis of the current situation doesn’t work, and mods are annoying on this god kitten forum, so, here, a revised version:

There have been some great fights, both this week and last, against some very memorable guilds for me; as sad as I was that GoM left, taking RH with them, I’ve had the pleasure of fighting guilds such as [KING] and [PvP] who, while less of a small-man force of amazing like [RH] was, have been a blast to fight. NSP, too, has guilds that I absolutely love encountering, namely [Os] and [TFG].

As some of you, on all servers, might be aware, there has been some drama involving one of our commanders. She was bribed to transfer over to NSP, and, despite whatever she may claim her intentions to be, we take our server pride very seriously on HoD. As such, we consider what she did to be selling out and, most obviously, made her a kill on sight target in WvW. Apparently, she assumed that this would not happen and threw a hissy fit, deciding that she was transferring to NSP permanently and making sure that she would push us down to T8, so that HoD will “feel her wrath.”

I’ve lost a lot of respect for [XOXO] after tonight. Not for inviting her into your guild, not for bribing her to your server, but for joining in on her theatrics. You’re talking about a girl who claims that she trained all of the commanders on the server. The person who thinks she’s the kitten and would often drop in to voice comms in order to do nothing but complain about how everyone else is bad and she’s absolutely fantastic. About the girl who is so afraid of us focus firing her for stabbing us in the back that she’s scurrying for gold so she can buy a makeover kit. I’m sure you’ll soon grow as tired of her drama queen act as we all were, but she was still one of us, so until then, I hope you don’t mind that all of HoD will be hunting you.

ALSO, if I get banned from these forums, remember that I love you all so very, very much~ <3 Yes, even the egotistical PAXA dudes.
