Remember that when discussing coverage, you have to factor in the servers in the current match. You may have OK Oceanic coverage in one tier, but Superior in just the next tier down. You have to compare coverage in a certain timezone as it relates to the other servers.

However, to answer your question, based on what I know about the transfers servers have received thus far, I’d place coverage of the current T1 match as follows:

SoS: NA – Superior, Oceanic – Superior, SEA – Ok, EU – None
JQ: NA – Superior, Oceanic – Good, SEA – Good, EU – Ok
BG: NA – Good, Oceanic – Ok, SEA – Ok to Good, EU – Good (basically just HB here, but good against our competitors)

The big thing I’ll point is in my eyes, BG has no time zone slots that I would consider Superior against our current opponents, and thus our primary issue in T1.

I always thought JQ was great on EU coverage – I guess not so much.

I know you HB work hard during EU to cap SM – it shows for our NA guilds from SoS who have to attack 3 places to get it back

I want to give a shout out to ICOA on green borderlands. Having some good fights against y’all coming up to Fog and Crag. Already up 250 kills two hours into reset.

Please JQ has one of the best Oceanics. DC and EMP. They fill in numbers around 40 each guild easily.

BG has THAI guild also around those numbers.

SoS has only MERC and AFS. Now SoS have ND to add the the list.

Coverage wise i believe JQ has every hour covered. But not the most at 1 time.

Im not going to say coverage is what makes us win or lose but i just wanted to state out the facts that which guild is on most of the time during oceanics. Thats all.

Edit: There is also FOO guild i think. Not sure which server. AGGR from JQ.

We (JQ) have a guy hanging out on our borderlands at Spiritholme (north supply camp) constantly using supply to build golems. When politely (or otherwise) asked to stop, he makes some complaint about Temple of Balthazar.

When we finally managed to get an upgrade through, a large group of Blackgate (Mostly HB) appear (literally RIGHT after the upgrade finished) and took the camp.

Now of course I can’t blame anyone, because he isn’t representing a guild. However, it is awfully troll like (though I guess since he is building golems he could argue “But i’m being useful!” as opposed to building rams). He ignores any requests to allow us to upgrade the camp (until that one time we managed to get an upgrade in before he could use 10 supply to keep the supply down).

In any case…if anyone is resorting to a tactic like that (having someone on an opposing server to clear supply to avoid upgrades). I’d just like to say, bad form. Very bad form. Poor sportsmanship, if that is what is really going on. I would say that if it was someone on my server doing it. I would CERTAINLY, if that person was in my guild, kick him immediately.

Anyway, just thought I’d mention it. If anyone wants to know his account name to check if he is in your guild, let me know in a PM and I can send it to you.

I tend to think SoS has alot more random manpower during oceanic, and I tend to run into alot of oceanic players in PvE as well as WvW.

I vouch for DC and EMP being in Oceanic as we faced them a great many times.

Merc One Tsym all in oceanic too (Tsym actually taking alot of the euro slots staying up to local time 4 am).

I agree with you saying JQ having coverage, its evident that they do due to not loosing massive amounts of towers during off peak times.

Either way I’m super interested in the coverage, even tho I like just WvW randoming I’m really interested in the numbers game and what guilds are where.

Fact is for me my vote goes to JQ for best coverage. SOS second. Sorry BG but i love facing the THAI guild but they are just not enough sometime.

FOO & DC = JQ’s oceanic coverage in themselves.

FOO rush at and trebs the hell out of your keeps while DC runs off and cuts supply and hits small towers while FOO siege bay/hills/garrison.

It is a cop out to say JQ has “ok” coverage, JQ has amazing coverage FOO DC EMP VwV etc, all destroy the oceanic timezone. It is a war of attrition when versing these guilds, they either get bored or just leave which is usually after a 5 hour defence by MERC & AFS etc. As i’ve said many times ND is a welcome addition maybe finally we won’t start on the back foot every night.

Ya i figure it is probably happen on every server. Perhaps the cessation of free transfers will help, though judging by the account name of the guy doing it on our server I’m guessing it is a second account that he purchased (He has the name leroy in his account name…if that isn’t a troll I don’t know what is…)

Actually We´ve been trying to get fights vs. you all night. Taking your spawm tower 5 times or so is “barely” hitting you?

Didnt really see any JQ guilds worth figting ( no offense intended JQ ! ), so we tried roaming S to find and fight AGG and FoE. Had some really good clashes where we had to pull out our a-game. Thanks for the fun to both JQ and SoS. Those 3 way fights in garrison early after reset was pretty insane

You took our spawn tower 5 times???? I didn’t notice. I remember once or twice but i missed the reset so waited in queue a bit once I got home. It seemed most of the time I was online, it was pretty much divided .33/.33/.34. Definitely fun fights tonight. You guys run in HUGE numbers. You wiped us quite a few times but thankfully we were close to spawn. I think the whole map was a pretty tight tug of war until I had to log.

Not sure what the current situation is. I am unfortunately working on an after hours work call atm. =/

Call it what you will, especially when there are pictures and testimonials from SOS players that BG is in fact not just focusing JQ (in SOS BL). I believe “thanks BG for all the badges” is a common theme.

There is a reason BG wasn’t attacking in SOS BL (which if I followed the initial convo correctly is where the issue was, SOS north camp) as i stated in my earlier posts. There were players wasting our supply as well, preventing us from mounting effective defenses and offenses.

And judging the overall (SOS) reaction to JQ beating SOS during new years, I’m not so sure there would be a lack of QQ. You might enjoy the challenge, but you aren’t the entirety of SOS.

He was honestly a very strange troll, if that.

By the end of it I ended up with like 8 arrow carts, 6 ballistas, 5 catapults, 6 rams and a treb from him. He started just dropping a ton of siege boxes everywhere without saying anything. I really couldn’t make any sense out of any of it. He kept complaining about the balthazar temple.

wow another conspiracy theory.. Just because BG had a great start at reset you assume that we are double teaming you.. As I quote from a previous JQ poster.. It’s easier to take something from BG ather than from SOS.. We are just returning the favor…

JQ is always bad at weekends from my experience.

As always an intense start to reset. Just got off JQBL and there have been a ton of intense fights since kick off. To my JQ brethren who are complaining – even if it is a legit 2v1 it happens. Please stop complaining – it does nothing except make us look like whiners. Which we aren’t. We have been here before and we don’t break that easily.

Looking forward to some intense fighting over the next week – don’t count us out after 1 night.
