Simply because they are not in your guild, does not mean they are incapable of basic coordination or orginization.

Basic organization wasn’t enough with the old stab but it works now that stab is pretty much nonexistent in large fights. Maybe blobs can have some semblance of organization now that fights have been made significantly easier.

Think? To play in blob? It is thinking?! U just run and spam 1. and ccs atm. It isn’t thinking, it is brainlessly following and bum bum 1. skill at enemy form range against zerg. And when blob find other blob they just bum bum themself from range for 30 mins without going in, cos who go in he lose

Again to sum stuff up and miss wrong interpretation. PPL AREN’T QQING ABOUT ZERGS! FFS! Understand that! All are qqing about zergs vs larger groups. It is imposible to wipe em now…

I haven’t had this problem at all. I raided with my guildies and we had like 20 and were still able to wipe +40 t2 groups.

I wrote about 60 ppl…not 40. And u probably wiped group full of randoms( i guess it wasn’t guild or just a core of 10 man guild) and arrow. Also were they from FR or DE servers? If yes, then everything is clear Also T2 mean silver right?

tbh the lag increase since last patch is kittening me off much more for now, not only skilllag, now i also see ppl ‘stuttering’ around while the game runs with smooth fps and <50ms ping, this is just BS and gives me headache, and it doesnt need a big 3way for this to happen, 40vs40 is enough

@stab from what i experienced so far the melee train is still running and the pirateship kitten is only happening during first minutes of the fight: it starts with a ranged stand off, and once enough casters died mt pushes in. groundtargetable WoR is frickin awesome right now, theres so many pewpew rangers who ‘know nothing’ xD but this doesnt change the fact that numbers rigtht now matter more than ever before, so its like in real life: f v ck intelligent ppl who organize guilds and stuff, we cant let stu p id scrubs loose to them even with bigger numbers, they need to buy our latest gem store thingies!!!

But check this. If you know where the 60+ blob is you know where they aren’t. So you can 5-man or 10-man cap anywhere else. But you don’t run into fights and are basically playing PPT wars.

Sounds borning.

In t1 at least, people defend almost everything. To counter the amount of siege (and siege disablers) you need numbers – numbers counter defensive siege (more supply for counter-siege, more meteor showers, more aoe healing, etc.). Even if defenders can’t handle the attacking force alone, they buy more than enough time for the main zerg to come clean up the mess. Maybe what you’re suggesting works for lower tiers, but it’s inapplicable to t1.

Yeah, we defend a lot all the way down in T7/8 as well. Maybe we don’t defend as consistently, or as often, or as well, but we do. Some of the best fights I’ve been in in WvW were defenses or assaults of a defended Garrison or SMC.

Did u check ping by game options? Don’t do that, it shows false data ;D lag also happen in even 20 v 20, but anet is investigating issue for 2 years ;D And yeah it is pain in the kitten .

How to make a new prof in 6 lessons:
1) Make a real weakness to current meta => make stab amazingly unavailable
2) Give to new profession huge access to the missing ressource=>stab on dodge + pulsing stab to allys with 5 sec cooldown => bye bye guards ?
3) Provide amazing skill to new prof to benefit of the missing ressource in the context of new meta (mostly ranged now)=>aoe range kd
4) Make existing dominant prof less and less appealing to push people to reroll
5) Bring a new map where missing ressource is crucial
6) Profit and laugh :-)

Stability changes are not about making the game more balanced but about creating a void that may only be filled by playing a revenant, only accessible if you purchase the update. People forget that Anet is out to make money, and the best way to sell a product is to create a demand for it before you supply it.
More people also prefer the safe and easy range method in any game, which is why most games end up pandering to range class demographics as there is more money to make.
If no changes are brought to existing melee classes to balance out the increase in stability stripping, the game will no longer be exciting enough to play and I for one will be shifting my clientele elsewhere. Increase stability stacks produced and decrease stability spell recasting and melee might still be viable, though harder to perform. At the moment there is absolutely no point in going to melee.
If balance to current classes happen before HoT is released, then Anet might rescue a significant proportion of players.

They ruined it already, proportion of players. Actually blob’s numbers 20 guards or so, lot of eles and necros, few rangers, almost 0 thiefs, mesmers engineers and maybe 2 wariors Why? cos they are useless now, at last less usefull than guardians with staff / gs or staff / hammer – suicide atm cos of less mobility than with gs. And why are they such useless stuff? Cos they can’t go meele so to do somethign they need range wepaon, but then either lose hammer or sword / wh for a place of rifle – single target or lb – over long time of casting spells so also single target with 1. 1. 1. while guards do much more, they give aoe stabil, buffs, aoe range attacks etc.

That makes zero difference to balance, if you rotate stability you would still have the same uptime.

…which uptime was nowhere near 100% and was strippable anyway.

If we removed every feature, skill or mechanism that annoys someone in the game, I think we’ll end up with a nice version of solitaire where nowhere can damage the others.

Guess we should also remove stealth from the game because mesmers and thieves annoy people by being invisible, remove stun because it does not allow some people to use their skills, then conditions as well because condi builds are also annoying.. I also read threads about ‘lets remove burst damage’.

What I don’t understand is when ppl say the stability issue is really L2P issue, is which side that L2P is on, really If I can’t figure out how to beat something, let’s get it removed so the other side should have the problem, not me…
