I’ll add it in later. Looks like a variant of the DDR build, but it’s much more concise and probably would appeal to more people ( as opposed to a wall of text guide spanning 8 posts :P)

Haha! I wasn’t bashing other guides! At least I didn’t try to. My problem was that every guide I looked at that was at least even ‘inspirational’ or something I wanted to try out had outdated traits. So I set out to create my own build a while ago. Now that I’ve had some days working with my build I find it nice.

Oh and yeah, my guide is still kind of a wall of text. Though I do know what you mean, I read the whole DDR, and I do not regret it, but I did not like the reading portion of that.

A few months back, I wrote a guide for naming your pets using pseudo-scientific terms inspired by real-world taxonomy. I don’t know if it’s worthy of being added to the front page of this thread — it’s just a silly RP thing rather than a gameplay guide — but since it got buried in the forum rather quickly, I thought I’d add a link to it here, in case any RP-minded rangers who missed it the first time around would find it interesting.

Wow ….this thread is so old. Will it ever be updated?

The forum moderators really should unpin very old and unupdated threads from all the profession forums.

The forums were the first place I visited, hoping to find relevant information on viable builds, and I was seriously disappointed by the number of outdated material that’s still present here – and I’m not talking only about the Ranger section. Some sort of a forums-wide clean-up would be welcome, I’m certain it looks even worse from a new player’s perspective, someone who hasn’t heard about MetaBattle and CBA to sift through YouTube videos of… varying quality.

the builds in here are pretty old – can anyone help me out please? I just hit the lvl 80.

Can anyone post me several builds for wvw, fractal and raids?
I know that for fractal and raids the ranger condo is very good.
how about for wvw?

I would appreciate very mucho mucho if anyone can help me out PLEASE!
