I’m a little sad at how outnumbered we (TC) are at the late night hours. Had a lot of fun a few months back with BG before they moved up tier and before we caught up. Now it feels like we can’t put up the kind of fight we use to be proud of. Maybe i’m just not seeing how things are during the day.

I’m a little sad at how outnumbered we (TC) are at the late night hours. Had a lot of fun a few months back with BG before they moved up tier and before we caught up. Now it feels like we can’t put up the kind of fight we use to be proud of. Maybe i’m just not seeing how things are during the day.

You all play great and bring it no matter the score. I have a hell of a lot of respect for that. Don’t hold yourselves responsible for coverage gaps.

Having a gaping coverage hole is nothing to be ashamed of. It just means we can’t compete on the scoreboard, but it doesn’t mean we can’t compete on the field when we have people. Personally, not having to worry about placement is kind of liberating

TC is probably one of my favorite opponents, you fight hard no matter what and are respectful

You attack when you can and defend when it is needed, you opponents outnumber you but still you throw whatever you can at them

Man I’d be bummed to lose you guys even only for a week. :/ People still, weeks after we’ve faced them, talk about how bad they think we are in the other matchup threads (doesn’t mean you guys or BG don’t think that, which you’re allowed to, you just don’t beat us down with it constantly). Another crappy thread like we’ve had in the past and I throw in my e-towel now that I see how good it can be.

Plus you’re always good for a small fight when we can find it and you really hate it when we slap your yaks in retaliation for slapping ours. I don’t know why.

You know what the worst thing about that fight was? We FINALLY got it back after giving it such a spacious open floor plan and it was gone in like 15 minutes again. Then we got it back. Then TC took it 30 minutes later. Desk flips were had.

Great fights so far on EB, had to recap our 1/3rd after BG golem rushed and took everything was fun commanding again though hadn’t in a while thanks for all the support that was given TC’ers! I hope we can stay here but if we drop I hope FA can give you some good fights also until we get back up /agree w/ Sam ^

Hehe. Shouldn’t be an issue. While I’ll miss TC if you do take a sabbatical in T3, I like FA a lot too. Good guys over there.

This matchup has been the best so far. TC will definitely be missed if they take their yak parade on a tier 3 tour. You’re sure to be back in tier 2 soon, but by then BG will be tearing it up in tier 1. And I expect KAIN will be in tier 1 with us after a week of reigning supreme in tier 2. It seems we won’t all be together again until we carve out a spot for TC in tier 1. Then it will be time to slay the fatted yaks in celebration!

In the meantime, it sounds like we need a farewell party…any ideas?

Welcome the new transfers to BG! New super stacked server. Best matchup for BG indeed!

If/when Blackgate goes back to Tier 1 i fully intend to smuggle TC in with us.

When BG was slated to move up to T1 the last time, there was a rather large dueling party that went on for most of Friday. It was a lot of fun, so I’d recommend doing that again in the southern reaches of TCBL. That’s assuming TC is going to actually drop down to T3, but that looks to be pretty much a given at this point.

And because of that, I just wanna say, in terms of overall attitude and atmosphere, this has been the best match-up I’ve experienced yet. Props to both Blackgate and Kaineng for keeping it fun. The general respect has been noticeable, and not only in this epically long match-up thread. I’ve seen more sportsmanship on the field in these past weeks than at any time previous. Sure, we’ve had some bumps along the road, but this particular T2 line-up has clearly been a cut above the WvW norm. All three servers should be proud of that.

I wouldn’t completely rule out the possibility of BG also leaving the tier this week. Granted, it’s a long shot right now, but I think it’s still possible. BG’s successfully gone into points-overdrive before, and SoS don’t seem to be doin’ so well.

Kaineng definitely hasn’t had the turnout of the previous weeks so far either, I would add. It’s possible.

I’ve been on the receiving end of a TC beatdown when I was on CD, and win or lose, you all are always great sports. If you head to Tier 2, I’ll be rooting for you, too! The fun, friendly attitude of TC will definitely be missed.

Kaineng was lost fun with BG, TC, these days, only few people were on WvW. my guild is biggest Guild in EB BL, but these 2 days, I only found some people on WvW. most of us in PVE. continue 3 weeks BG vs KEN vs TC, it was very boring thing. including me, every day COF and daily.

That’s why I like tier 2 much more than tier 1. Tier 1 is very toxic and poisonous. Has been and always will be. Been there done that.

Tier 2 is the highest tier you can get to where wvw is still about fun. After that it is total war where anything goes.

We in Kaineng will keep improving and recruit more people to wvw. However we are in no hurry to get to tier 1.

I think most of TC doesn’t mind moving down to t3 for a little bit. It’ll be a confidence booster and it’ll be fun not being the underdog. We’ve been fighting against superior numbers for 10 weeks now.

To BG, I wish you luck when you make it back to tier 1 – I’ve always enjoyed you guys since the days of BG being in tier 1 when I was there (formerly JQ) and I enjoyed you guys during FA’s 1 week in tier 2 a few weeks ago. Shake it up a bit up there. Give my former server good competition when you get there. Most of all, have fun!

In Kaineng’s Garrison last night, I was the black d/d ele with a few glass thief’s from GoF. Thanks for the good fights between NW tower and our broken garrison wall, we had a blast killing each other.
I had a great laugh when you where at our north west inner gate and I was popping in and out over and over again messing with you guys, then all of a sudden this huge KnT zerg rushed out with me, none of you saw that coming, just wanted to mention the tactic, because it was hilarious.

To be fair, they spent a lot of weeks getting to fight a new opponent almost every match. So I guess they had a luxury we all forgot about months ago. I remember when the dust settled from the Titan Alliance disbandment people started complaining about having the same matches and them getting stale; it only being 3 or 4 weeks fighting the same servers. After being close to the same spot for 3 months, I guess we all got used to it.
