it was more annoying then anything to tell you the truth. he never downed me or even tried to fight. He would just run away every time I tried to face him.
My goal was not to fight, it’s not smart to fight against 10 people looking for you anyway, but it was overly fun to say the least. Better keep watching those doors.
10 people? we only had about 6 on you max at one point because some people had waypointed but most of the time is was just me trying to chase you down and maybe one other person. And to your other reply about after killing you then leaving we werent going to wait around for you, although ill admit i stayed to see if you would actually come back a few times. I give you credit for your persistence and we know how long it takes for you to get back to our keep and contest it but we had to make an attempt to discourage you haha. After a while we just said screw it, you could have your fun contesting the keep for hours on end. i don’t see how that could be very fun to tell you the truth. Most ill do is go contest the keep for a push on a tower nearby the keep or something like that so that they would have to run just a tiny bit further while we go and push on the tower or whatever our objective is.

I didn’t get a chance to chime in here yesterday, because we were a bit busy proving our point on CD’s body, most of yesterday. I’m just curious if you still feel the same way, now that you’ve experienced Maguuma when they’re actually trying, instead of the messing around we’ve been doing since we dropped down to T4.
It’s good to see that we still have most of our CD holdings, with Commander Bony in a strong garrison struggle agains the usual [Awe] suspects. I imagine he’s greatful to Tsarazi for providing him with a change of scenery.

Well, golem rushing against a server in their non-existent time zone coverage and have enough time to fully upgrade it and stock up to prepare for defence doesn’t prove anything except you have superior numbers against a specific time zone.
CD took all of SBI BL but nobody came out to say anything, because that was what it was, we had more numbers and that was it, nobody was better or anything. So there was nothing to prove or gloat about

Pretty sure you weren’t there, based on this comment, since there was nothing I would consider a “golem rush”. Not that there weren’t a few golems. But that’s okay, because I’m not chest thumping here. Not really trying to gloat, either. I’m not particularly proud of it. In a lot of cases our execution was very poor. What I’m really noting is that this is something we haven’t been doing for three weeks. Yesterday we decided to tune up for our next match-up, stop the silly farming techniques, and bring back the cap&hold tactics. Seems like it’s worked out well, overall… And I was asking a specific person if his opinion has changed, since he’s now been against us taking it seriously vs. not taking it seriously. I’m sorry you were so offended. I’ll try to be clearer next time that I think no less of you or more of us.

You think you just won a victory there? There isn’t anyone on Mag who doesn’t admit that and hasn’t admitted that… Yes. We have the overall better coverage. Of course, right now, I’m pretty sure that CD has the best coverage for this time period, given where our team is at on CD borderlands. Near as I can tell, SBI has been taking advantage of the fact that CD is busy. A wise decision. But all I’m talking about here is overall scores and coverage.
As far as actual battles… Sometimes we win outnumbered, sometimes we have total zergs get wiped… Is there a surprise there? My belief has been that our overall (including our general population) is a little stronger than on most servers. But that was possibly truest a while ago when we first hit T3. I’m not sure of it anymore.

It’s not winning by numbers to ignore camps and southern tower flips, that’s good resource management. Those holdings are not sustainable or valuable in any way. When you touch a northern tower or keep, we stop ignoring and allocate bodies that were busy doing something else to take care of it.

Na, I have to agree with Sov, I still think YB is better than you guys overall. I mean sure, you guys just handed our kitten to us, but YB… they REALLY handed our kitten to us complete with smashing our face into the dirt and a few kicks to the groin.
We also sorta stopped trying as a server circa day 2 of this matchup. Which is frustrating.
Where were you yesterday? We started mid-day with the goal of getting waypoints in every CD keep. Super tryhard all around.
I was there, actually. Nadeshiko Naito is my warrior. I helped take WK, Garrison, and was fooling around with EK with a treb with PYRO. It was refreshing to see us taking and holding things instead of just karma training.

Definitely! I’m looking forward to that so much. I don’t mind dying or repair costs, but when I’m solo roaming and come across 20+ man group I like to run away rather than try to fight them. Up till now, they could always see me several seconds before I could see them. Much sadness.
This may make it harder for Mag to farm badges, though, since more people will successfully run away.
Haha… I love the comments in the first link as the zerg arrives. I think we have all been on the business end of this type of pounding many times… At least now we can really see it coming. And hey… If I’m running around with a few others and a zerg wants to chase and stake me… great. I am sure they have some better things to do, but us Asurans can be a pesky group
Hope anet can implement option to turn off title soon, I feel kinda guilty of killing fellow emissaries of pumpkinhead (I love tat movie too) from other servers.
All I know is if EB stayed the way it was tonight and from this night forward, no one could complain. Probably the most competitive exciting night in a long time, coupled in with being able to engage and see every target for a change made for some really great PvP. Points need not apply tonight, just some huge epic engagements. Also, we had 75% on the cap for the “Shiny”. So close! ;(

I don’t know… We feel weak and flabby lately to me. Weak during our off-time hours (We put up strong fights, but not enough substance to back up our dedicated folks, there.) Flabby during our peak hours. I’ve seen some amazing crisp play, but we are so bloated with fairweathers, fresh meat, and trolls that we beat ourselves as much as we let others beat us, right now. Oh well. :-)
CD, in particular seems pretty lean and strong to me. I just assume whenever I’m dealing with CD that I’m going to get a decent fight out of it. You guys should hold your heads pretty high.

I loved it! It was very reminiscent of the good “old” days (like, what, 3 months ago? lol). If this keeps up I might have to dust my warrior and start commanding again instead of trolling Mag with my thief.

To be dreadfully honest, I’ve yet to see mag hold anything without a Zerg to back it.
Mag has the power of numbers and coherency in using team skills, something I wish CD would learn overnight. But Mag needs at least 20 defenders to hold anything. Can’t tell you how many times equal teams have met at towers and after a bit of fun fighting, CD has won. But your zerg strength is beyond anything CD could dream of. I envy it to be honest.
