Logged on after getting home from work to find 6 pieces of mail in my inbox with dye kits and black lion keys in them ,checking my gem amount I am out 900 gems.I did not buy these items and had no email of my account being hacked ?

confirmed with both banks (debit and credit) that i had funds and that no fraud locks were in place. PayPal fails as well.
Im estimating company collapse prior to Jan 1. A company thats entire long-term revenue stream is based on credit card transactions, that cant process credit card transactions, seems like a definite bankruptcy. Ironically its the Support staff who refuse to lift these silly bans who are literally FIRING THEMSELVES. What an industry. Amazing that this problem was around in beta and not fixed. “Hey guys, we have a great game but no way to earn money off it – lets launch!”

Forgot to mention – in addition to this massive thread going back 45-60 days (beta), Google has 244,000 hits for ‘gw2 cant buy gems’ and 233,000 for ‘gw2 cant purchase gems’. And no fix after 45-60 days. Thats probably 3-10 million dollars they lost. Assuming one programmer could fix it in 2 weeks (80 hours), they could have hired someone for $62,500 AN HOUR and broken even.

I bought 10 Mystic forge stones for 450 gems few days ago and I still haven’t received them. I lost the gems and all but the items were never delivered. How should I proceed?
I just bought the Krytan Armour Set but I did not receive it in mail form, or in my transaction box it charged me the gems but gave me no item, I would like to know what I need to do to either get my item or get my gems back.

That’s the message I’ve been getting.

I’ve already done this and I haven’t changed where I’m making purchases from. And my bank (well actually its a Credit Union) is not blocking anything. I checked, in person, at their local branch.
When can I continue throwing money at you?

I’d rather buy gold than spend hours farming. You won’t let me. I used to be able to buy a few gems each day, now I cannot buy any. I’d love to give you my money, but you won’t let me. Your game is great, but please fix this.

So did I. Gaile actually did try to help me but then it went really downhill.
Apparently support was working on it but all they gave me was a link from a lineage 2 site that showed me that i need to go into my NC Account and delete credit card info there. That required getting in touch with NCsoft support.
I say it went downhill because my Guild Wars 2 is for some reason not linked to it even though my Guild Wars 1 is and both my Guild wars are some how linked together for the Hall of Monuments rewards (I feel like magic and wishes keeps them glued togther). Plus the fact that when I clicked on Billing info there were absolutely no cards or other forms of payment in the history. It was all blank.
Here is hoping today will be a good day for spending money

Okay so they figured it out.
There is a limit to how much a saved card on the in-game gem store can spend in a time limit to help prevent fraud. They suggested deleting the card from the gem store options and then waiting for a couple hours before attempting again. They also have others roadblocks in place to keep consumers safe. So keep that support ticket going and if no one responds try to beseech someone to bump it up. My ticket actually got “stuck in the system” which I can see happening.

Yeah, I got a response saying:
“In reviewing your account, I can see that I am able to override your purchase restriction for 24 hours.”
I replied back asking exactly what the restrictions are so I’ll know when I’m reaching them next time. I’ll update this when I get an answer.

Unable to purchase gems using either credit card OR Paypal. Funds are in paypal account and ready to go. The funds WERE on the credit card. I had to move funds from the credit card to the paypal account in an attempt to work around the CC being declined(Obviously the card is functioning properly if I was able to donate money to myself via paypal), and now paypal is being declined as well. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don’t want a temp lift on my purchasing, I want it PERMANENTLY removed. I should not have to file a ticket and wait 24hours everytime I want to purchase gems. THAT is poor business practice. Please resolve

As said in title, my checking account has been charged for $85 worth of gems. Support said to let it go for 24 hours, but now it’s been over 48.
Last time I purchased, I got a receipt and my gems near immediately. This time, I havn’t, but my bank has been charged and that irks me. I didn’t even get a receipt via email.
I requested a refund if possible, because I will wait for the system to be less buggy before I purchase Gems in the future. But again, the fact that I have been charged it on my bank statement with no receipt scares me. Is something else going on that I am unaware of that may not be Anet’s fault?
Anet, please look into my incident report and assist me. I know it hasn’t been in the system for longer than 5 hours, but it makes me feel uncomfortable.

The charge is probably pending and it will fall off or go through after 3-5 days. Wait another day or two and if the charge actually clears but doesnt register with Anet, then consider a ticket or a refund. Dont chargeback as they will lock your account.
Thank you for filing the ticket, Darxio. I totally understand your concern. Because you’ve purchased gems in the past (for which a thanks is in order! ) it’s clear to me why this transaction is making you wonder, since it’s progressing so differently than your previous purchase.
I have looked at the ticket and it has been escalated to a senior agent for review. I feel quite confident you will hear back tomorrow and you can decide how to proceed based on that discussion.

I’m so sorry. Did you submit a ticket to support.guildwars2.com (using the Ask a Question) tab? If not, please do so and a team member will get back to you quite promptly on this. If you did submit a ticket, can you post again if you’re still having this problem after they’ve gotten involved? I’d like to have the 12-digit incident number, please. (But please do allow them at least 24 hours to work on this; issues involving finance are necessarily delicate for both your sake and that of the company, so the team will need a bit of time to examine the situation.)

Did you submit a ticket? support.guildwars2.com → Ask a Question tab. They may be able to process the purchase even after you’ve left your dad’s house, I’m not sure. I guess that depends on the reason for the block and such, but let’s hope so.

I’m unable to purchase gems as well. No error. The next button just won’t light up in the credit card info box. It’s not a saved card, but it has worked in the past. All the info in the fields was correct. No Next button.
I did submit at ticket this afternoon.
The company that you buy in game money like gems has been hacked so to stop them from stealing all your real money it has been shut down and when its back up you will be able to buy gems.
I f you have purchased before and you get a failure if you have purchased before more so if you have a Pre-Paid card..
The problem is the recurring nature so how will it stop declining by my Financial Insitution
Use the little bin and delete your previous card information (Pre-Paid cards)
Then reenter the information again from your card
this will stop the flagging and you will be able to purchase again (Pre-pay cards).
If again you need to purchase more you would follow the same procedure .You have to bear in mind its your financial institution thats also stopping the procedure due to its security on Pre Pay cards.
I here some saying what! I have to delete then re enter again …Yes …then it satifies not only NCsoft
but also your institution thats flagging your card.
I have used the procedure and it works perfectly and now I have no problems whatsoever in re-puchasing Gems again using my Card..as I had this problem for a month
